You never meet snake until you meet Ada Egbu, Owerri. Serpents are so real and will go to any length to destroy. They are skilled in their trade and can befriend you fo so long, gathering every information about you while waiting for the best time to strike. Outwardly, they look so pretty and harmless such that when their true nature and intent manifest, you'll be shocked at the face behind the mask. And they are always so close, will 'stand by you' until they achieve their goal and are the first to announce your downfall behind you.

ReplyDeleteI was once in a similar situation with my then 'girlies' on a night out,, I didn't know they were envious of me, they got me really drunk (or helped me get wasted) In a strip club, they took pictures of me as well as videos of a topless man untop of me and sent it to my husband that was held back In his country because of the covid 19.
I noticed husband stopped picking my calls,stopped sending me money for allowance and all, I spoke with my girlies about it, they told me that I should let go that he probably never coming back to Africa, that maybe his children have gotten him a Caucasian wife much matured than I am... I trusted believed what ever they said because they were the closest to me until months later when my son in-law wrote to me without his father's consent asking me why I cheated on his dad, I thought he was just trying to take sides with his dad until he started sending me proofs one particular supposed friend of mine has been sending to the family!
I was shocked!! Of course it was my Birthday, and they even suggested the strip club, I didn't object it because they all said it will be a great experience.. Twas later when I confronted them I got the greater shock!!
'Oh go screw yourself.. It has always been about you since high school days.. Footballers, offshore guys, business men boyfriends.....politicians, models, engineers, banker and even pastors suitors always after you and now you ended up with a white husband, having access to the world, living the life we all dreamt about while we were young!!
Omo, since that experience,, (God helped my marriage) I have been going solo...no friends, can hardly trust even family members.. Only my husband and some members of his family i can trust now (because some of them believed that cheating story and concluded that I married their dad/brother because of money and I spend the money on younger guys).. This experience helped me to know that I was friends with SNAKES.
This was so sad to read. Thank God you survive and is doing solo journey.
