ReplyDeleteI went to Mac shop at the mall on Friday for lipstick, something that I'm not familiar with directed me to Zara shop. I went in to admire the good handiwork of people and BOOM! Rema's song Baby calm down started blasting with the bright lights frying my brain.
I felt so proud to be a Nigerian at that moment...as if that was not enough, they added Burna boy Last last after Rema.
My fried brain told my instinct to support Zara because they love "US" My people, that's how I bought 2 blazers, 1 was $119, linen ooh, the other $149 and 2 buttons down shirts at $49.90 each without tax!
Came back home, checked my account and developed malaria with high fever on the spot. My good people, I nearly slept in the mall parking lot for return & refund. Now I don't want to hear last last or calm down again.
So this your epistle is meant to evoke laughter from us. Better don't think of becoming a comedian pls.

Delete11:05, something similar happened to me years ago at c&a, thankfully, their prices were calmer and they were also having summer sale if not, I for buy the shop the moment I heard Asa's two songs back to back. No matter how much better the cut is at other stores, I have that soft spot for c&a till now. I wonder if the company still exists.
