The Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, Iba Gani Adams on Saturday warned Simon Ekpa, factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to stop the planned sit-at-home protest in Lagos State. Ekpa had said the sit-at-home protest currently being enforced in the South East will be done in Lagos State.

Very stupid man
ReplyDeleteI would love to see them try, that is when they will know how far Yorubas are willing and ready to protect and defend their land and race.
ReplyDeleteWho are they?
DeleteThey are the terrorists written about in this post.
DeleteNobody is trying anything. Simon Ekpa doesn't speak or act on IPOB interest. It's so stupid of him to say that.
DeleteBy the way what did your Yoruba people do when they were stopped at Ilorin from holding their sacred festival by the Fulani Muslim last two weeks or so? They lost their voice and got no balls cos it wasn't Igbo that stopped them but in Lagos they will flex muscle.
Teejay, You must think all yorubas in illorin cared about the sacred festival. You must think all the yorubas in illorin are traditionalists. Using 'some' traditionlists to generalise the whole of yoruba clan in illorin and comparing that to what is written up there shows your your level of reasoning.
DeleteYorubas are not natural killers like igbos, Yorubas are very diplomatic and are not trouble makers, they stay on their lane and never throw the first stone. Yoruba's also know the grave implications of war and that is why they don't go into wars lightly. Wait and see if that festival will not hold in Ilorin next year. People are talking about serious issues of igbos being killed and burnt to death mercilessly because of sitting at home on Mondays, in some cases generations of igbo people being killed by IPOB and your response to it is what did your Yoruba people do when they were stopped at Ilorin from holding their sacred festival by the Fulani Muslim. Pathetic!
DeleteWhy are pretending you dont know their is an Emir in ilorin who is a Fulani Emirate of Ilorin? Can you compare him or his standing to this your igbo man? What position of power does he hold in lagos? Stop trying to twist things and making it about your igbo people when the situations are not even the same. The pity-party your tribe always tries to garner is pathetic at this point.
DeleteAny small thing, the next thing is to chant, "because it is igbo".
12:18, relax before you burst an artery. It's Simon Ekpa daydreaming from Finland. No Igbo in Lagos is listening to him.
DeletePeople in the South East are FORCED to do the sit at home because they are afraid.
Do you think that if they had their way they would lock their shops and stay at home. For what naa and you know how much we love money.
So relax biko, no one is dragging Lagos with you.
''....that is when they will know how far Yorubas are willing and ready to protect and defend their land and race.''
DeleteThis statement above was my reason of asking that question. It doesn't matter if there's an Emir in Ilorin. Who owns Ilorin? Is it a Yoruba state or Fulani state? You think we don't know the Afonja story very well.
Again, if it was another tribe that tried it, would you guys have lost your voice?. Suddenly it has become not every Yoruba is a traditionalist. So why didn't the traditionalist speak up? No balls I guess.
When it happened in Ilorin, they went silent.
Keep justifying cowardness and next you will do is to resort to insult.
Teejay. You need historical lessons and not base your analysis on social media. For starters. Kwara is part Fulani/Nupe/Bariba/Yoruba. They are so close to each other that Yorubas fully don't claim the land. Infact a visit to Kwara state will open your eyes. Ask questions before commenting stupidly most times. I really wish I can unsee your comments alot of times like a block button cause you are way too biased. Secondly I am encouraging this Simon to bring it on in Lagos. Give him just 7 days maximum his leg will be in Lagos international airport. You think Yorubas are stupid. You lack facts. All you have is really social media news. Did you at some point have history lessons? You need some so you don't keep on been biased in your analysis.
DeleteEveryone who talks, is yoruba to you people. I am not the anon by the way. Besides I didn't even know a thing like that happened till you mentioned it and it was because of your comment above i went to dig out the news and i saw that it was a clash between religion and culture even the yorubas Muslim are in support of what the Emir did or how many traditionalist are there? Isn't ilorin a Muslim populated state?
Delete"So why didn't the traditionalist speak up" since the traditionalist were your focus then You should have just focused on the minority instead lumping all the yourubas together and making it look like all the yorubas are expected to be bothered or are you going to pretend you dont know even their fellow yorubas in the majority are also against the festivities. Isn't there a division amongst themselves already?
So if the traditionalists talk how many are they?
So I ask you, how is the ilorin situation similar to the current post that you had to make a comparison saying the anon above is revolting because it is igbo?Or do you think a Fulani man saying something similar would create a change in the yorubas people response in lagos?
Do you really think if the wanted igbo man tries sit at home in ilorin it will hold? Presently, what right or influence( given or not given) does he have over ilorin or any other yoruba state as we speak?
The same cowardice your fellow tribe people are displaying when they were bullied to stay at home, right in their hometown? They could not walk on the road, children could not go to school and traders can't sell and they all obeyed what do you call that bravery? Or are they also Yorubas?
DeleteTeejay? Pls which tribe makes up Kwara. Answer that question and get SENSE. Ohhhhhh you think Kwara is only YORUBAS! Please you need history lessons or a simple Google search before coming online to spew nonsense.
DeleteTeejay, you write with so much ignorance.
DeleteYou need to read about the clash between the Yorubas and Hausa Fulani in Mile 12 and Ọkọ̀ ọba market?
I witnessed the one in Oko ọba first hand though I was young.
That incidence remained ever fresh in my memory that I felt so sorry for the wanton loss of lives.
The OPC dealt with the situation so Gani Adams knows what he is saying.
They should try it! Mtcheww
Are you minding them, it is part of their propaganda agenda when they don't want to hear or speak the truth. They will bring Kwara into it and say Kwara was taken over by the Fulani's from the Yorubas. I don't know how an igbo man thinks he can school Yorubas, Tapa's, the Fulani's and other indigenous tribes that are settled there on the history and facts of Kwara state.
DeleteIt is just unbelievable the things they come up with to cause trouble and commotion because their own house is falling apart and they are looking for who else to take down with them instead of listening and acting positively to the issues the whole world has with them. Everybody cannot be wrong saying the same thing and only you right saying something different.
Anon 14:27,
DeleteThe way you people distort history and facts here is so shocking and alarming at the same time. You think I don't know history or haven't read large for you to come up with this blatant lies in a broad day light.
I will ask just simple questions.
Who is Afonja? What do you know about the founder of Ilorin? Tell us about the fall of Oyo empire. If I tell you about it, you won't believe and call it false. So tell Bvs and I reading right away what you know about my questions. We want to know and learn.
You think when you try to shut me down by using sophisticated words you have won the argument. I'm waiting for your response. Pls don't shy away or you want me to do that for you?
Your time starts now. 😁😁😁
Teejay answer your own questions since you know the answers. Come back and answer these questions you have asked for the people who don't know the answer. Let us see what you will come up with before your whole narrative is torn into shreds with facts and dates.
DeleteTeejay, pls stop being a nuisance on this blog. There are other igbos here and they display civility and respect for other tribes. You are doing here, what Ekpa is doing in the SE. Highly condemnable! PH, where you live is not igbo land but the people have respected and accommodated other tribes, including you. So stop all these Igbo-centric bias and hatred against Yorubas/Tinubu/APC you are displaying on this blog. Stella should take note of Teejay gaslighting ethnic sentiments on this blog. You should no longer upload comments that promote tribal hatred, in whatever form. Thank you
DeleteWonders shall never end, shining teeth with emoji arguing over affairs and culture of other tribes in Kwara state while mass killing is going on in his own states- you need to be arguing about how to stop the killing in the SE. Oh I forgot, arguing about that is not necessary when they can all run away to Yoruba land to live a peaceful, comfortable, productive life that the Yoruba people have provided for them in Yoruba states.
DeleteGo to Google and type Afonja, the fall of Oyo empire- How Yoruba lost Ilorin. There you have it all. There was even a communiqué from the Yorubas as at the time. So save yourself the lies and distortion of history and notable facts..
DeleteI am done with this and not coming back to respond.
All of you giving Teejay this much of your time, to me y'all don't need to. Gani Adams has dared that idiot Ekpa and he should try it in Lagos first, me too wan check something. Dem no dey tell person. Oju e a bo
DeleteSimon the joker. The thought alone is laughable. Sit at home in Lagos state????
ReplyDeleteOur gentility is not stupidity ooo.
Leave them, they should go and Google Yoruba war history and see their record when it comes to war to know how far. They think they are talking about the biafra war they started, lost and are blaming the whole world for.
DeleteO gosh 12.47 who is them settle your scores with Simon Ekpa.
DeleteThere is no them
Anon 12:47 on point ! Igbos start shit and start claiming victim when it doesn't go their way! Can you imagine they want reparations for civil war, people that let that ojwku whatever his name is to drag them unto a war because his ego was bruised! Now no one can hear word about the useless Biafra!
DeleteAnon 14:02, we have no business with Simon Ekpa, we don't sit at home on Mondays, we go to work and go about our every day business where I come from on Mondays. Teachers are not being beaten in front of their students where I come from and we also don't kill each other to get what we want from others.
DeleteAll we are saying is IPOB should remain in the south east and continue their killing there but don't try it in Yoruba land. Simple.
This one just want to bring himself out. Has this man made any mention of doing this rubbish in the south. Oga please rest or contribute to something important.
ReplyDeleteI know its very difficult for some people to read and understand, some people don't even bother reading before they comment. Go back up and read "Ekpa had said the sit-at-home protest currently being enforced in the South East will be done in Lagos State"
DeleteSimon Ekpa is gradually going insane. He was never an IPOB member let alone a factional leader. Nnamdi Kanu through his wife and lawyers sent messages for his arrest and prosecution for his criminal activities in the region but those whom the message was given to act upon did nothing.
ReplyDeleteThe plan is to sponsor and instigate an unrest in South East so as to draw the conclusion that Peter Obi isn't qualified to become the President since his region is causing troubles in the country. This is why just last week the Agbado gangs left the government and security agencies they ought to ask about the insecurity in the East and was asking Peter Obi. Is Peter Obi the governor, government or even military? Why asking him a security question when he's yet to reclaim his stolen mandate?
I guess it was a trap by that question but I trust the man whom I voted for. His response was top notch on the issue. The conspiracy gangs were all disappointed with what they got for an answer.
Here is the point to take note. IPOB has denied issuing two weeks sit at home but the media is still hell bent on saying and reporting ''IPOB order sit at home.'' What does that tells you? Sponsored mainstream media doing their dirty jobs after receiving brown envelope. They won't report neither will you see in any blog or news dailies that IPOB denied being responsible for the two weeks sit at home.
Nnamdi Kanu founded ESN and kept them in the Bush to tackle herdsmen terrorist destroying farmlands. Never a time will you see or hear Kanu gloat over the killings or burning of his own people's lives and properties. That's the real freedom fighter we all know before his incarceration and the government now sponsored a rival.
Secondly, why hasn't the government initiate a diplomatic move with Finland over Simon Ekpa extradition? It's simple. Let the East burn themselves and destroy their economy so that the people will eventually lost trust and followership on Kanu when he's finally released. They want the damage to be severe before Kanu will be released so that the Biafra agitation will suffer a set back.
Finally, just like Ugochinyere said, the people on ground enforcing this sit at home were brought into the state by the supreme court governor in the guise of Ebubeagu vigilante. They are the ones burning and killing people. Even Asari Dokubo boasted in a clip that his boys are in the East hammering the IPOB and its sympathizers. What does that tells you? I know someone here in Port Harcourt who came back from the East few months ago, he narrated how he was recruited to cause mayhem in the East just to criminalize IPOB so as to continue painting the group black before international communities so as to proscribe them. I asked him how much were they paid and he said 450,000. These are the unknown gun men you read and hear daily.
We know what's playing out and we're no fools.
They will just be talking as if they were there live when the discussions were going on. They will just be talking as if they called them personally to conduct an interview with Kanu, Ekpa or IPOB where all these false info and claims were re-iterated.
DeleteOnce again, I will like to quote Late Gen. Sani Abacha: “Any Insurgency that lasts more than 24 hours, a government official has a hand in it
DeleteOnce again, I will like to quote Late Gen. Sani Abacha: “Any Insurgency that lasts more than 24 hours, a government official has a hand in it
Delete13:02 🤣🤣🤣🤣 make unu no vex, na laff I just dey laff dey go...
DeleteNormal people are still living their lives. Tribalist can hug transformer. I serve in in portharcourt in 1996 out of 7 friends all Yoruba, I was the only one that did not marry ibo , just because I was not lucky enough to get jobs in the booming oil industry in Rivers state then. All my other 6 friends married ibo women and their marriage was blessed with beautiful children who are now young adults. We are still friends with all our inlaws. And we still play and enjoys our ibo worship songs. If you let hates consumed you, you will only have yourself to blame.
ReplyDeleteUndercover ibo pretending to be yoruba. we know you operate and you can be spotted a mile away with your lies.
Deleteibos started the hate and now they can't finish what they started as usual, its paining them that others are defending themselves and no longer taking their insults.
Leave them Nah
DeleteMy brother got married to a yoruba woman.
My friend engaged to a yoruba man.
My neighbour daughter's wedding was to an igbo man.
na all of them sabi
Whenever i see anyone trying to be tribalistic in a stylish manner i just avoid them
13:54, because of what? The poorest, most wretched Igbo person would never trade his ancestry for yours. Never. And you know it's true.
DeleteYou hold your own we hold our own.
Him dey mad.mtschw
ReplyDeleteTutu
I know some of you hate to hear this version of the truth but we will not be gagged. The unrest in the east and the consequent destructions were ignited by the criminal, Nnamdi Kanu and enabled by Ndigbo. How a people so blessed in human resources can allow a foreign-based self-acclaimed freedom agitator to dictate to them beats the imagination. Now, another foreign based miscreant is further fanning the embers of war and ki!!ing their own people and Ndigbo would rather blame the sky, the moon and stars than tell themselves the absolute truth. The day they m*rdered Dora Akunyili's husband like a dog in the streets was the day I wept for the South-East region especially when there was no commensurate outrage. My anger is that many of those cheering on these criminals are not willing to go back to the East even if you offered them money to return; so, who is f**ling who? That is on the one hand.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, let me talk about the South-West and their glaring hypocrisy as well. Ilorin is still ruled to this day by usurpers from the north and not a Yoruba soul has contested it. They dare not! Sunday Igboho, at the risk of his life fought off the herdsmen and criminals ravaging the Western lands and what did they do? They collaborated with the ex-d*mon in A$$hole Rock to destroy him and banish him to a neighbouring African country. I thought he would be allowed to return within two days of their bat's ascension but alas!
However, when it concerns Ndigbo, they will not just warn the unfortunate Ekpa who is misyarning but lump everyone together including those from the South-south and be threatening hell, brimstone and sulphur. However, I support this timely warning by a man whose claim to fame was backstabbing his benefactor/leader (Frederick Fasehun) and other heinous crimes against humanity. That a clown now lives in the Palace and dines with the king does not mean it is no longer affiliated with the circus folks. If the cap fits, wear it Adam.👇
👏
DeleteSunday Igboho has fufilled his mission which yorubas are very proud of, he has succeeded in driving away the herdsmen that were taking over yoruba farms and killing yoruba farmers on their land. Sunday Igboho is back in his yoruba state and living a normal life until its time for him to defend killers of his people again.
DeleteRegarding south east ipob killings, it not the business of the yorubas, ibos can continue killing themselves and contain the killings in the south east. Regarding yorubas and fulanis in kwara state, it is not the business of ibos what goes on there, they have not complained to you. Quench the fire in your house first before you start jabbing about the fire in the house your enemy in another region.
Ilorin is mostly Muslim INCLUDING its Yoruba population and I learnt the festival was a traditional one that Muslims including Yoruba Muslims did not support. There is no need to confuse religion with ethnicity. They are different.
DeleteDenounce evil regardless of your region or area of residence. The northerners are still suffering for cheering on Shekau in the early days of Boko Haram when they thought he only wanted to help them fight against western education/civilisation. Body don tell dem now. IDP camps everywhere when the country is not at war. Pathetic!
ReplyDeleteThe same FG that sh*t their pants when 2 cockroaches are arguing in the South-south are now helpless and clueless about solving the macabre crimes happening in the North, south-east and south-west. Why? Because the oil Wells in the Niger-Delta region are owned by a conglomerate of thi*ves from all the regions in the country who know that it is not in their best interest for there to be any escalated problem or war in that region. These are the same people that gullible and f**lish Yoruba and Igbo people were fighting themselves for in the last general elections. What a pity. Shame!
Let each and all of you take their grievances to their states of origin and hold your leaders accountable. See the transformation in Akwa-Ibom (I am not from there btw) and compare it to the rot and underdevelopment of Ogun and Abia states for instance. All Governors got their state allocations but what each governor did with theirs was different. But instead of their people to call out their under-performing rulers, they prefer to trade words with people of other ethnicities on twitter and blame them for their woes. That disunity has ushered in another Herod into Abuja and fear and shame no gree dem talk say Sapa wan finish dem since May 29. I know y'all will claim you are balling to save face but when Stellz Obioma announces awoof, una no go gree use una bat 8k do cushion for una vitafoam pillow again; una go apply and begin fire anonymous missiles of marginalisation if e no reach una hand. And before any eternal idi*t begins to foam in the mouth, remember that Emoney is Igbo and voted for tinubu and Falz and Macaroni are Yoruba and voted for Obi. I am talking to those who voted APC as a party after buhari's 8year rule regardless of their ethnicity. Let me not see you complain about the rising cost of living on this blog make shango and amadioha no go send you overcharged network. Enjoy your political choice in peace. I hate to comment on Naija political posts but the hypocrisy and shamelessness stinks to the clouds🙄.
*This BV is allergic to fighting on Sundays✌. Una doh o.

DeleteThumps up @ Amebonawork.
ReplyDeleteI am very sure the Igbos in Lagos will not listen to him.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, they'll not. He has no power of such to do that. A criminal he is and will never be taken serious.
DeleteOne man that caged the whole of Igbo people. Hahaha. I sorry for Igbo people. The man no even dey Naija and Igbo people are shaking like leaves.
ReplyDelete
