  1. Nigerians have endured a lot of wickedness and suffering from our leaders over the years, and we are just here, suffering and dying in silence!
See people dying daily in the face of hunger, hardship and hopelessness.....
Yet, we have senators who only started work at the end of May, and are already enjoying holiday, with a 2M largesse to "enjoy the holiday". One of them even had the temerity to question why we should be angry with the 2M which to him, is even too small. SMH! The same senate, where the poor were so condescendingly humiliated a few weeks ago with the coinage "Let the poor breathe", a slogan that was actually meant to address the chokehold on our necks. Truly, Nigerians are the most patient peeps on earth. Suffer, endure and do nothing! The politicians know this. They know whatever decision they take, we will only make noise for a bit, adjust and then as-you-were!
The quickest way to wealth in Nigeria, is religion and politics. And so, most people do whatever it takes to clinch a political post, not because they care enough to change the status quo, but dem sef wan go secure their future and chop national cake.
How can a nation so blessed by God, be enmeshed in this mess? Human and natural resources opΓ³r, but see the deplorable living standard of our people? But the few greedy ones and their families are balling and thanking God daily for 'blessings' they stole.
I pray I live long enough to see the Nigeria of my dreams. It's not just the leaders. It's all of us. The change must start with us.
    God bless us all.
God bless the federal republic of Nigeria.

    3. Things like this will make me vent my anger on the blog and you will see people attacking me as if I'm fighting for own good alone and sometimes my comment don't get enabled. Godswill Akpabio using the phrase on the Senate floor ''let the poor breeeef'' is a mockery on all collective Nigerians suffering at this time. He has no moral right to say such words, for they're part of the criminality suffocating the poor and he dare say such.

Minister so he will help in rigging the next election So that they can get the required percentage in FCT. And the annoying part is that some people in this blog seeing shege like me will come and be spewing rubbish.

  2. He Gave Us Life And Made Us Life-Givers!!
    John 10:10 AMPC.

    Excerpts!!

"Jesus didn’t come to merely save us from sin; that was a means to an end. So, what did He come to do? He came to give us life and to bring us into fellowship with God."

"Therefore, just like Jesus, you’re a life-giving spirit. He gave us life and made us life-givers. Isn't that amazing? When you show up, life is manifested, not in bits, but in its fullness."

"In 1 Corinthians 12:27, the Bible says, “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” In other words, you’re the carrier of His divine essence. Eternal life is unveiled to others through you. Grasp the magnitude of this truth and walk in its reality."

    Confession!!

Dear Father, I thank you for making me a life-distributor, and a dispenser of your blessings. I am your outstretched arm to a hurting and dying world, to heal, bless, and deliver. I'm full of power, even by the Spirit of the Lord, and the glory of God is released into my world through me today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  3. I'm walking under the sun.❎
    I'm walking in the sun.✅

There is a one-year mandatory community service scheme for Nigerian graduates called the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The anthem of NYSC was composed in 1984 by Dr Oluwole Adetiran who was then a corps member in Oyo State.

The first stanza of the anthem goes thus:

    Youths obey the clarion call
Let us lift our nation high
Under the sun or in the rain
    With dedication and selflessness
Nigeria is ours, Nigeria we serve!

There's a grammar lie contained in line 3 of the anthem, namely 'under the sun'.

Now, imagine the number of corps members (numbering in their thousands) who sing and internalise this erroneous expression year in year out.

The point is, 'under the sun' is wrongly used next to 'in the rain'.

In that particular context, the standard expression is: 'in the sun'.

    What do I mean?

It's worthy of note that the expression, 'under the sun' means something different from 'in the sun'.

Under the sun (which is also known as beneath the sun) is an idiomatic expression which means “in existence or on earth”.

It’s often used if you want to emphasize that you are talking about a very large number of things in existence.

    Let’s take two quick examples:

The passengers hotly exchanged views on every subject under the sun.

There's really nothing new under the sun.

When you're talking about being outdoors in the sunshine or being outdoors while it’s raining, the Standard English expression to use is:

'in the sun' and 'in the rain'.

Take a look at the following examples:

The children sat in the sun, drawing circles and triangles in the sand.

It's a blazing hot day; it's not advisable to play football in the sun.

Come in please so you don’t get soaked standing out in the rain.

Audu left his textbooks out in the rain! They're completely sodden.

NB: Sodden means soaked or completely wet.

    Got any value reading this?

    I'm rooting for you! πŸ’ͺ

  6. STAY EXCITED ABOUT LOVE

'Always be enraptured with her [or his] love.' Proverbs 5:19 NKJV

If you're married, think back to when you first met your spouse and fell in love. You thought about them day and night. You couldn't wait to be together; you hung on every word they spoke. The relationship was stimulating and exciting because you engaged each other's minds, excited each other's emotions, and ignited each other's imagination on a wide range of life's topics. But numerous marriages don't survive because they die of boredom. One partner may have an affair or become addicted to porn or some other deviant behaviour because they're bored in the relationship. That's not an excuse for wrongdoing, but boredom functions like low-grade poison; it takes an unavoidable toll on you.

The secret to a good marriage lies in improving yourself, then bringing that to the table of your relationship. Learn something new about your spouse's work, and care about the details of their day. Have a shared dream you're working towards and talk about it. When you're engaged in another person's life, you fortify their desire to share more about their day and themselves. And here is something else to keep in mind: it's important for you to have a life outside of the person you're interested in. Partners who want to grow together realise they must encourage each other to nurture friendships, hobbies and interests independently.

Exciting people excite each other! They understand developing their individual life without disregarding the life they have together. That's what the Bible means when it says, 'Always be enraptured with her [or his] love' (Proverbs 5:19 NKJV)

  15. So yesterday the nurse who usually gives me drugs came in the evening when I sent a short message to her earlier that yesterday. She said I can't take another malaria dosage at the moment, for it wasn't up to a week I took the last one. She gave me little drugs but not malaria drugs. I took it and in less than 30mins, I felt heat. I took my bath and that was all. The banging headache stopped and the feverish body too. So when I called her at night to thank her and requested to know the name of the drugs she gave me, she refused letting me know the name of the drugs.

I feel very sound today. Thanks to you all who wish me quick recovery yesterday. God bless you all.

  16. Reno Omokri calls out Oby Ozekwesili for hypocrisy after she reacted to the taking down of "all eyes on the judiciary" billboards in Abuja

But my dear Oby, when the Anambra State Government, which gave you a political appointment, demolished Peter Obi's campaign billboard on January 16, 2023, for flouting regulations, you did not complain or run naked in the streets. You did not describe the action as one by an "obviously misguided regulator".

So, why are you now dancing naked over a billboard specifically targeted at intimidating the judiciary to favour Peter Obi, because it occurred in Abuja? You have a knack for ignoring things that occur in your home state and region while blowing up things that happen outside your region.

You are the same person who has also not condemned the killing of US embassy personnel by Unknown Gunmen in your state and close to your local government on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

You are the same Oby who danced naked in the streets when Deborah Samuel was burnt to death but have remained silent till today after a pregnant Northerner from Adamawa, Harira Jubril, was killed by unknown gunmen in broad daylight in Anambra, your home state, with her four underaged daughters, Fatima, 9; Khadijah, 7; Hadiza, 5; and Zaituna, 2.

The same you rolled on the floor of Aso Rock over #BringBackOurGirls. Yet, you never condemned the killing of Ahmed Gulak on May 31, 2021.

Oby, why will you always cover anything that happens in the Southeast and blow out of proportion things that occur elsewhere? Maybe you should focus on your career as an IPOB apologist and stop gaslighting Nigerians.

  19. People won't value or regard you unless they notice you have made it in life.

I have this close friend back then at the university. We did almost everything together. I know how much I did for him and wouldn't want to go into details so I don't bore you with a lengthy writeup.

When fortune smiled on him, he left the country and made it in good time. Married and settled down. Each time he visits Nigeria, he will only contact me whenever he needs my help. Willingly I will suspend my business and other engagements just to help him but he still wouldn't regard me. He felt he has made it and I'm not in his league of friends anymore.

Before you will say he owes me nothing which is true. But what kind of friend would watch his close friend suffering without raising a finger to help him but will use him to get things done for himself?????. At least a labourer deserve his wages.

When I was desperately in need of financial help, I talked things over with him. He disappointed me just like other times he had always done. At the last occasion, mom was very mad at me for putting my business on hold just to please a friend who wouldn't assist me even when that same business of mine was shaking. He saw things himself and nothing was hidden from him. In fact, it was mom who suggested I talked to my friend to see how best he can help me. When she got the information of his disappointment, she felt heart broken and sad.

Mom sat me down and encouraged me not to feel bad. She said, ''Your friend isn't a good person to have treated you this way. He won’t value you tomorrow just like yesterday but he’d know you’ve a good heart than him.

    That's a win.

He will only value you when he sees you have made it in life. Forget about him and hustle. I have always prayed to God to bless you beyond expectations. So hold unto Him and when you have finally made it, he will look for you someday and apologize on how he treated you.''

I took those words seriously and that was the last time I promised never to seek for anything help from him again. Oh, I didn't mention to you guys how my messages to him on WhatsApp and Facebook will be left unread for weeks and even months at that time.

    Such is life!

I wouldn't say I have arrived or made it. I'm still hustling today to get to that point of financial freedom but one thing I am very certain about is that, NO ONE WILL EVER MEET ME AT THE SAME SPOT THEY LEFT & ABANDONED ME IN LIFE.

  35. I watched this Yoruba movie jagun jagun I can say Nollywood have evolved it's nice with lessons dropped by the Agemo and lateef on what is happening with people of the elites using other people's children while sparing theirs.
Lateef in that movie stood up for justice and this brings me to that chronicle yesterday pls how do you people stay calm in the midst of something you can squach immediately when that 45 years old woman with stinking mouth was running tour colleagues down you would ve said there and then that she should stop running pple down with her mouth that's it's not good somebody should say it to her face in the presence of pple why allow that attitude to fester, is it when she gets somebody terminated from work , yell pple how they re and see them disappear with their toxic and nonsense character.
Coming to the wife in that movie women can do anything to answer Mrs, you re barren and decided not to have children because you want him to be a wicked war Lord where as he has a child somewhere, let's be using our brain sometimes , even dealing with other things in our lives
    Good morning Bvs

Some fuel stations refused to sell fuel last week, they thought there would be a price increase again so they can sell at a higher price. They have reluctantly started selling now after it was announced that there won't be an increase. Nigerians!
