Heavenly father as we continue to trust you daily, we will not be put to shame and our enemies will not triumph over because, when your mercies speaks, judgement are cancelled and when your grace speaks, protocol are broken for us.
Lord may we receive more of your mercies and grace today in Jesus name πŸ™

  5. Reno Omokri calls out you-know-who for hypocrisy

So you mean that a week after two brothers named Chinedu and Omama were burnt alive at Onitsha, no Southeast Governor, no major Southeast politician, and no prominent activist from the Southeast, could publicly condemn the barbaric and animalistic act?

Yesterday, Peter Obi rightly sympathised with the Canadian Government over the burning of their High Commission in Abuja, but cannot speak on this issue? So a burning building is more important to Peter Obi than burning human beings?

Would Oby Ezekwesili and her fellow travellers have been this quiet of the atrocity occurred in Lagos or Kano?

Reno Omokri advises the PBAT administration

The Bola Tinubu administration has to understand that Arise Peoples Party have made a business decision to dishonestly sabotage the economy by passing off lies as news to drive viewership from Obidients and maintain Peter Obi as a viable candidate. Therefore, @officialABAT should starve them of their oxygen.

No Minister or heads of any Department or Agency of Government should accept their invitation for an interview, or respond to their inquiries, stories or accusations. Bayo @aonanuga1956, and other media handlers of the @NGRPresident should stop responding to them. Ignore them. In terms of viewership, @ChannelsTV, @TVCNewsNG, and @NTANewsNow are far ahead of them, according to the latest figures from @StatistaCharts, the world's preeminent data provider based in Germany.

Stop enabling them. Do not allow them have a codependent relationship with the government. Let them bring in Labour Party people and continue to tank their trust factor by branding themselves as the propaganda arm of the Eluupee movement. That is the best way to deal with @AriseTV, the Fake News Network!

    10. Big Mama, as a business person, you should pick unknown numbers.
Is it only people whose numbers you saved on your phone that call you for business? You don't pray for new customers who.may get your number through referrals or advert? What if one of your customers lost his or her phone and got another phone line? what if a customer decides to use another line to call you, another line that you don't have?
If you don't pick unknown numbers how do you intend to grow in businness?
Except maybe you don't have any business(some of you come here to lie), even at that, there may be an emergency and neigbours or relatives may call you with a number you don't have.
Change that mentality now, you only need to be wise while speaking with strangers.

  7. You need to know people. That is the only way you can love them. When you know them and you still choose them consciously and conscientiously, you'll work your way through their limitations and love them right. Not with malice, not out of ignorance, not out of deceit, but one of sincere kindness.

  8. So an abusive woman sister cried out about how her sister was always beaten blue black by the 'horseband'. The woman has 5kids for him, people were concerned and activist Gwanishu took it upon himself and the man was arrested. Few days later, she is back to her abuser. Then people withdrew their support. Now she is insisting it's the dpo who threatened her to go back.

We can't over emphasized "LEAVE TO LIVE" is better than Rest in peace. It's either the man is a sole provider which makes it very difficult for their victims to walk away. Reason it's better to have something doing even if it's little source of income.

  9. Good morning fam. If you're a business owner, please be very careful while dealing with customers this season. I had a painful encounter yesterday and I'm yet to get over it. A man entered my shop & requested for some items.. Very impatient and in a hurry, he asked me to quickly package the items he had ordered and
requested to make an upfront payment of N100 for polythene bag. My naive self, unaware of his devilish plan, collected the money and merged it with other cash amounting to N35, 000. The man assured me he would return to complete the transaction, leaving as quickly as he had arrived.

It was only when he had vanished from sight that I decided to check my purse, and realized that my N35,000 had mysteriously vanished. Till I closed for business yesterday, the man never returned to complete the said transaction.

E pain me, but I don leave am for God. Please shine your eyes oo.

One thing i have always regretted is not listening to my intuition.
I mean, Allah will literally show me all the signs both in dream and real life 😩😩 but sometimes I will dismiss it. But today, I think I have finally learnt my lesson.
So it doesn't matter that I tried and failed because success in itself is not a destination, but a constant investment of effort .
even the experience of today is success because I tried at it, because my willingness to try gives me purpose...that's the difference.

  18. I was with Ruth Ajuzieogu ( not her real name)

    She's a legal practitioner.
    ME, I'm a language practitioner.
    *wide toothy smile πŸ˜€πŸ˜„

We became friends when I went to sit my SSCE at GSS Umuagbai-Ndoki, Rivers State.

Yesterday, I chanced upon Ruth in front of their law firm in PH City.

"Vicky the Prof! You look good! Nice trousers you're wearing there", she said excitedly.

I replied, "Barrister Ruthie, you're the picture of health yourself! Long time no see!"

NB: to be the picture of health is an idiomatic expression which means to look very healthy.

Midway into our exchange of pleasantries, Ruth said:

"I said I'll ask you this. I know it's correct to say "Your trousers ARE nice". Why is it not "Your trousers IS nice" since it's referring to a single object?"

"Oh yeah, 'Your trousers ARE nice' is correct", I concurred.

"Since you lawyers are fond of Latin words and phrases, let ME use a Latin phrase to explain it." I said and gave her a wide toothy smile. πŸ˜€πŸ˜„

I talked about PLURALE TANTUM briefly.

It was only when I got home that I did some research to flesh out the brief explanation I gave Ruth.

    Wanna know the explanation?
    πŸ‘‡

    #StayWithME
    …………..

    WHAT'S PLURALE TANTUM?

Plurale tantum is a Latin word which means “plural only”.

It has to do with concrete nouns that function as pairs and are often used in the PLURAL FORM ONLY.

Examples include trousers, pants, scissors, spectacles, etc.

Did you notice the "s" in the examples above?

The following are other examples of plurale tantum:

πŸ‘‰Scissors and many other two-bladed tools like pliers, forceps, shears, tweezers, and tongs.

πŸ‘‰Shoes and other kinds of footwear such as sandals, flip-flops, sneakers.

πŸ‘‰Glasses and other kinds of eyewear such as goggles, spectacles, binoculars, etc.

πŸ‘‰ Trousers and other kinds of two-legged garments classified under:πŸ‘‡

Outer garments which include: pants (originally pantaloons), jeans, chinos, overalls, leggings, shorts, tights, slacks, breeches/britches, bloomers, dungarees, bell bottoms, trunks.

Undergarments which include: underpants, undies, long johns, boxers, panties, drawers, knickers, briefs, skivvies, tighty-whities.

    PLURALE TANTUM AND CONCORD

As per concord or agreement in grammar, plurale tantum is usually treated as a plural entity.

    For example πŸ‘‡:

    1. His trousers were slightly faded and tight fitting.
NB: His trousers WERE… ("Were" is a plural verb.)

    2a) Where ARE my trousers?✅
    2b) Where IS my trousers?❎

3a) They ARE in the bathroom.✅
3b) It IS in the bathroom.❎

HOW TO TURN PLURALE TANTUM INTO A SINGULAR NOUN

Plurale tantum (a "plural only" noun) can be turned into count nouns by using "a pair of" before such nouns.

    For example:

4a) Where IS my new pair of trousers?✅ (referring to one)
4b) Where ARE my new pairs of trousers?✅ (referring to two or more)

4c) The new pair IS in the bathroom.☑️
4d) The new pairs ARE in the bathroom.☑️

    5) Etuk thinks that a pair of trousers IS good as a birthday gift.

6a) Tunde needs a new pair of trousers for work. (just one)

6b) Tunde needs new pairs of trousers for work. (two or more)

    7) Okafor needs two/three/four different pairs of trousers.

  19. Christ In You Is All The Power You Need!!
    Ephesians 3:20.

    Excerpts!!

"If you’re a Pastor, for example, and you desire a transformation in your church, and to operate at higher levels of ministry, the power to make it happen is within you. The Bible says out of your heart shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38)."

"Life issues from your heart (Proverbs 4:23); all the prosperity, blessings and abundance you could ever imagine, require or desire are in your heart. How do you activate that power to work for you? It’s by consciously meditating on the Word and speaking in tongues."

"You can bring that power to bear today on anything or any area of your life. It brings to mind the words of the Master in Matthew 17:20: “…nothing shall be impossible unto you.” You can do anything, be anything, and get anything."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for your power and ability that's at work within me, causing me to do exploits and walk in the supernatural. Thank you for your limitless resources domiciled in my spirit. Your power is fully activated and operational in me, transforming my life, work, family and ministry, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  35. Xhirled P, Good morning..I saw a comment you made under my response to you about the Anioma people in Delta state, which I will like to correct. Anioma, comprises of the whole Ibo speaking part of Delta state that make up Delta North senatorial District.
Contrary to your believe, only the Asaba natives, of Oshimili south i.e the state capital, forbid eating or handling ogbono. Every other part of Anioma, relish ogbono soup. In fact their is special delicacy among the people of Ika (Agbor, Alifikede, Ekwuoma etc) and Aniocha (Enu ani) called Ofe Ujuju. Aside from the Ujuju leaves, Ogbono is the main ingredient. So my dear, it's only Asaba people that forbid ogbono, not the whole Anioma.
Do have a lovely weekend 😘😘

  43. Ok morayo I'm the anon I thought he gave you money you did not count , so sorry about that that one is now juju for your own money to disappear, maybe what you ll be doing is if you re using waist bag if money plenty small ,remove in a big bag in your shop at the end of the day pack all and count
Another one they do is they will come with something like #1k they will flash the money to you or give you requesting to buy 150 naira something theu will now tell you to give them change where as they ve collected their money ,so you ll end up giving them tour market and also giving them your own money they re thieves, they no get joy your daily partner should be let God no bring them to your shop because people don't have conscience.
Maybe we should do a business expose concerning their tactics especially this season
God will bring replenish your pockets sorry about that
