The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) announced the closure due to environmental and safety infractions. The nightclub, owned by Shina Peller, was accused of causing noise pollution and failing to comply with directives on organizing events, including not obtaining a sound control permit from the agency.
This is not the first time Quilox has faced such action; it was previously sealed in December 2019 for similar reasons
