He said the food items will be distributed after they have been certified fit for consumption.
In a statement by Customs National Public Relations officer, Abdullahi Maiwada on Tuesday, Adeniyi reaffirmed his commitment towards advancing President Bola Tinubu’s food security agenda.
“Furthermore, to alleviate the hardships faced by Nigerians and improve access to essential food items, the Nigeria Customs Service will facilitate the direct disposal of food items forfeited to the Federal Government.
“These items will be certified fit for consumption by relevant agencies and made available to ordinary Nigerians nationwide through equitable distribution in our Areas of Operations,”
The statement, however, did not disclose when the planned distribution will commence.

ReplyDeleteAlways making empty promises with no implementation.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Folks.
ReplyDeleteI want to encourage everyone to refuse to buy in into the panic all around regarding what we’re going through in Nigeria.
While some are stressing out, trust me, many will remain fearless, calm, and innovative. They will think outside the box and experience peace and prosperity.
Anyone who tells you a moment like this has never been before now merely is ignorant or wants to scare you away and carry the pot of goodies for themselves.
There is a global change going on. Many will experience depression, some will get into debt, and others will even commit suicide. Some will, however, make necessary adjustments and experience transformational change and prosperity. It’s all a question of choice.
Who are you talking to, and what are they producing in your heart?
Fear? Anger? Despair? Despondency?
Or Energy? Innovation? Solution mindset?
There’s always a choice to be made. Many who couldn’t build sheds when cement cost 200 Naira built estates legitimately when it became 2000 Naira. Many yet built mansions that only others are going to enjoy because they died in their prime, some build modest homes, enjoy them for decades in peace and tranquility. It’s always about choices.
Remember the last five years and be grateful to God and where HE has supported you
Be intentional, live joyfully with what you have, live fully, and help others. Brightness is coming, let it meet you well.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
Copied
Amen!!!
