So do the punches, kicks and slams in the wall feel less paunful in a mansion or RR. They literally had to set up a social services agency and shelter for rich wives who are victims of DV and financial abuse which is rampant among rich men. Those women are just as traumatized as any other women but they have fewer outlets for support because of various reasons. Abuse will never feel good no matter the social class one is in.
ReplyDeleteYour comment reminded me of this article I came across, online, not too long ago. It was about married women who had wealthy husbands but were literally, broke.

Thanks for the link. All that glitters ain't gold, some na just brass. And that is only the financial abuse. So many of these women have to deal with the incessant cheating, STDs and sexual depravity to keep these men content. Obviously, not all wealthy men are like thisbut far too many are. I don't know who would want to sell their soul for a lifetime of misery for material things that all must decay one day. I can see having to stay out of fear because some them are powerful and have dirty connections which they are happy to use, but just staying for the love of material things. Crying in 2000 thread count pillows is still crying, the tears will still sting and be salty.
