    2. Most of the women are supporting and saying it is legit work. However, same women, even his wife, will insult and diminish his ego when angry, by telling him his life history, when a little issue arises. After God, fear women!

  7. Not every relocation is met to change ones life. some are setback. He would have been more richer and bigger if he had remained in Nigeria but now he is only there struggling to put food on his family table. I know some will say he is making big money from uber job over there compare to Nigeria but you cant imagine the suffering he is going through to realize the money

    4. Much richer and famous with the 100l 200k they pay them Abi?its not like he’s a Jim Iyke or Ramsey Noah that can sell their brands to companies or influence products. He wasn’t an A list actor and they don’t pay them that much.Iv seen a lot of Nigerian celebrities here doing Epic and other jobs too that pay well and not ashamed.Allow people to be people.

    5. Looks like you’ll rather be a broke celebrity in Nigeria than a very comfortable man abroad ?

    6. Our mindset affects us a lot.we believe everything is about money and living in the western world. These veterans should be top of the entertainment industry. He can still stage a come back.

  14. I remember how he met and married Uche of Top Radio that year. She was one of my favourite OAP's. And FB is one of the most handsome actors. I wasn't happy when they relocated, especially as it meant I could no longer see and hear them on our airwaves.

  15. It is better than going there to commit crime.

  16. There is no shame in being a taxi driver abroad. It's citizens of developing countries that care a lot about white collar jobs and titles because they see it as a means to escape poverty. Here in Canada, you see people doing courses like mountaineering, some want to be teachers and go to school for it, others prefer blue collar professions. Bus drivers here make 6 figures annual salary with benefits, pension, etc. which is significantly more than some people that work in offices make.
As long as his hustle is legit, there is dignity in labor in the West.

  17. I don't have issues with whatever you do to make an honest living anywhere in the world. What I don't believe is that Americans don't care whether their celebs do a menial job. I doubt that so much. Celebs that paparazzi follow around. Do you think that Americans wouldn't react seeing someone like Matt Damon, Adam Sandler , Denzel washington, Kanye West etc driving Uber for a living?

    1. What he meant was that Americans don't care about Nigerian celebs. How many Nigerian celebs do they even know sef?

    2. You’re talking about A list celebrities in America.Femi wasn’t an A list in Nigeria when he was at his peak sef. There are celebrities here that later did jobs considered to be menial and less was said about them.Do you know that actors in America not named The rock, Matt Damon, Tom cruise etc don’t earn a lot of money for movies?Even Taraji complained lately that she’s not well paid.

    3. Femi was an A list abeg at, he was acting both yoru and English movies

      Delete
    4. It's not about acting Yoruba and English movies but what they pay you at the end of the day. There are waka pass actors that act in all major Nigerian languages and English but earn nothing tangible.

He wasn't a producer and his personal brand didn't get any endorsements. He was featured in only a handful of movies and couldn't demand ranking pay. I hope he finds a less stressful job that pays more with time so he doesn't exchange his health for money. Good will ensure him as he has chosen dignified labour over selling his values.

  18. one problem with the nigerian setting is ..no dignity in labor....i live in abroad....here you are expected to pick any available job, pay your bills...and then look for ways to move your life forward...my wife once worked as a nanny.. but today she has a PhD and works as a university professor here in canada

    1. But when are we going to be like south Africa that fought to get their country back?

      Delete
    2. So, to you, South Africa has been progressing economically since 1994?

Don't wait to rally troops. Start right now to break things in your immediate vicinity.

When you live long enough outside Nigeria to see people from every nation and race taking their destiny in their hands and solving their own problems by themselves, living well developed nations to make their own mark in other countries, you would quit looking to destroy the country that took a gamble on your education.

  23. Any man who would get up to go do a honest day’s labour to support his family is a honourable man. Look how many able bodied ones who are capable sit fold hands watching and waiting for manna to fall from heaven while their family suffer.

I know someone who used to drive a minibus who eventually went or to own a dealership and rental car businesses. Anything is possible for a person with a dream and the determination to see it through.
