  1. "Good morning, Let us awaken on this Friday morning with hearts full of gratitude for the beautiful gift of life that has been given to us, as the golden rays of the rising sun kisses the land. Let us honor the wonder of life with every breath we take and remember that every second is a precious gift that should be cherished.

Amidst the daily chaos, stop for a moment and appreciate the beauty all around you today: the sound of laughter from loved ones, the harmony of the natural world, and the limitless opportunities that lie ahead. Accept the difficulties as chances for personal development, understanding that every hurdle we surmount makes us stronger, smarter, and more resilient.

Let us not take for granted the simple pleasures that enrich our lives – a warm hug, a kind word, or a shared smile. For in these fleeting moments, we find true happiness and fulfillment.

So, on this glorious Friday morning, let us pledge to live each day with purpose, to spread love and positivity wherever we go, and to seize every opportunity to make a difference in the world. For life is not merely to be endured, but to be celebrated in all its beauty and wonder. Carpe diem – seize the day, and may your Friday be filled with boundless joy, gratitude, and endless possibilities."

    Luke 24:46-47.

"Christianity is for all; it only started in Jerusalem. So, don’t limit the Gospel; preach it to everyone, everywhere, and in all nations!"

"The Gospel is for everybody; it’ll produce results in the life of anyone who hears and believes it everywhere and anywhere in this world. Don’t limit the Gospel to your locality; tell everyone about Jesus."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, thank you for the universal reach of the Gospel as it’s what brings salvation to all, with no one left out. I’m an ambassador of Christ in the Gospel. Through me, the Gospel reaches many today whom you’ve ordained for salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  13. Good morning BVs. I stay in a house that has 3 flats. Two family and I as a single lady. One of my neighbor always repair or fix things without consulting others. After doing it. He will just send you receipt of payment and share the money into three with an expectation to pay urgently. If you don't pay within days he will start disturbing you to pay. It's been happening but I have refused to pay this last one on light. It's not that I don't value his efforts. He does things when it affects him more and expects everyone to pay. I feel when something spoils in the compound like light, repair, water issue etc. Everyone should be informed and we work towards it. We all have our financial plans and our income varies. Every two months, he will come up with something. If he is not repaying light, he is repairing water issue. He will identify the problem, call the workers, agree on price and pay them. You will only be informed to refund his expenses . Am I awkward or ungrateful?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Is he the one coming up with the issues, or there's actually something that needed to be fixed?
I like people like that o. Because imagine the borehole is bad and you have to wait for everyone to converge first for meeting, before calling plumber and fixing it. Stressing my life with managing water anyhow till it's fixed. God abeg
But sometimes he should still be calling you people first sha. But weighing the risk and the gain, I think it's not that bad.

      Delete
    2. I think, you're ungrateful, not from a bad place though but from your pocket. Please try to support his effort, he will identify a problem and still go ahead to rectify it,with his money. God bless him πŸ™πŸΏ

      Delete
    3. U're right. He should first let 2 of u know about d repair...Na question of respect...Thank u.

      Delete
    4. Please cooperate with him. Neighbours like him are rare. Appreciate his efforts and nicely ask him to inform you all before going ahead with repairs.

      Delete
    5. I love people that take care of other people's property as their own. Not informing you before hand is bad but if he eventually leaves the compound you might feel his absence.

Tell him to always inform you all before approving for repairs.

      Delete
    6. He is doing a good work but I personally feel there is need for consultation when you expect others to pay. If he is paying with his money and does not request for refund there is not problem but as long as you want me to pay. You need to inform me earlier especially when it's not urgent or life threatening issue

      Delete
    7. Is he planning with the technicians to rip you off? You all live in the house together, don't you notice the faults too?Like light for instance. Why is he the only one seeing the issues and fixing them? You sound like he is the one generating the issues every two months.
Pls be grateful to him if the issues are real.
In my house, they can leave the borehole for weeks without fixing it until everyone has contributed towards it. Then we will be carrying water on our heads from a nearby borehole.

      Delete
    8. Very valid questions @Ostrich
You are an ungrateful soul. I pray for God to bless him with his own house soon and he moves out so that you will feel his impact

      Delete
    9. Some of you are impossible!
If he leaves it for you to fix now, problem! It will take the whole month, if not the whole year for you to fix it.
Someone that you should be appreciating is whom you are whining about.😏😏🀯

    10. Well,I feel since u all live in dat compound,he should let u guys know B4 handling d repair.its good dat he is up and doing but u all should be in d know.cos good intentions can come off as bad sometimes.

      Delete
    11. He is trying the only thing you can tell him is to inform you about the faults ,create a WhatsApp group for the tenants, for him to be the only one noticing and fixing the faults he needs to appreciated.
Pls pay if you ve ever stayed with troublesome tenants that cant pay for the minutest of things you have to appreciate his efforts.
You too put eye and see things for yourself it's a collective thing

      Delete
    12. His efforts are well appreciated but let him inform you guys of the costs first before effecting repairs, so you know what is expected of you. Living with neighbours that don't care about maintenance is a very big problem oh.

  23. GOOD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS

'But the fruit of the Spirit is...' Galatians 5:22 NKJV

You can build any relationship by developing and demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit. The Bible speaks about being filled with the Spirit (see Ephesians 5:18) and walking in the Spirit (see Galatians 5:16). To be 'filled' with God's Spirit means you're a receptacle, whereas 'walking' in the Spirit means you're a dispenser - a vessel God can fill and pour out into the lives of others.

'What's this "fruit" you're talking about?' you ask. The Bible describes it this way: 'The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control' (Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV).

Look deeper at these nine different character qualities. The first three - 'love, joy, peace' - are atmosphere-changing fruits. As you yield to the Holy Spirit, he will throw a wet blanket on the unkind words you may want to say. He will build a fire in your heart that will bring warmth to a cold atmosphere and love to a bitter, revengeful atmosphere. The next three fruits - 'longsuffering, kindness, goodness' - are attitude-changing fruits. Each of us has the potential to have a bad attitude. God sometimes lets us go through difficult situations to reveal what's really inside us. When we see our own helplessness, weakness and despair, it causes us to cry out, 'God, I need you!' The last three fruits - 'faithfulness, gentleness, self-control' - are attribute-changing fruits. Through the Holy Spirit, you have strength and ability that you can't attribute to anyone but God. And you have peace that transcends human understanding (see Philippians 4:7).

Already, Nigeria men are considered a catch by women in other countries so this is just the beginning.
There would be an epidemic of unmarried women in Nigeria if women don’t stop this culture of commercializing love and prostitution disguised as dating.

A 20years old girl already has needs she thinks a man should meet cos she thinks that’s the norm. This is only seen in Nigeria.. Copied #
