Singer Davido Reveals He Met His Wife Chioma Before He 'Made' Money

Singer Davido has in a recent interview revealed that he met Chioma before he had money and became famous.

In his words:
"I have a friend;very rich,and he's like single,anytime I am on the phone with my wife, he would say; 'ahh, he has everything in the world, but this is what he's missing.
I met my wife before I had money, but I was saying to myself if I didn't meet her before then and like now I am single, and I meet a girl, it wouldn't be the same.I would be like yeah am cool but you are taljing to me because I'm Davido and you know I have money.

So that's why to me, my own success is when am doing something and I see everybody around around me;all these people around me were there when I had nothing and they see me now;that's the sweet thing to me, whether it's awards,whether it's concerts,whether it's when I bought my first Royce Rolls.
Just like when I bought my my first rolls royce,I went there with my cousin that I remember all the time,we used to be like we are going to buy this,we are going to buy that and thats the feeling,not that you would blow up and you would start hanging out with different people,you need to keep people that were there with you grinding,i wanna see the people that knew me as nothing,but now they are me as something and you would do something and go to your boy like; ' yeah,my nigger we did it,i told you'.
Sometimes when my family members call me,it's crazy like they could be stuck somewhere like Ireland and they would be like 'Davi,ermm,i just missed my flight and I told them i am Davido's cousin and he's a big fan,just show your face' and I would just show my face,new ticket'.some are like even people that are far away but they are my blood".
