    1. The phone theft can't in anyway protect the school image.

      But it's so disheartening

  9. See what mobile phone has caused. Thank God for Covenant university, we only had simcards and call phones used to communicate with our parents and loved ones then. I am grateful for that training we received then though it wasn't easy, we complained. Mobile phone has made a life to be lost and made people brutal all for a phone. A device that the technology will be changed in another month or two. God rest the soul of the departed and bring the culprits to justice for taking a life. Now Christine universities are not soared, let's teach our children not to beat people up or fight just walk Way from the scene and go snd report yourself if you are guilty. We only have one life to live let's make it right always in God's sight. Ire o

I'm so sure he didn't take any nonsense phone like they alleged.

  13. I read this news yesterday and I felt really bad,why will you beat someone to death because he stole a phone, they could have reported to the school authority.
I pray all those involved are used as scapegoats for others.
May his soul rest in peace

  14. It's like the generation XyZ were not well brought up as parents are doing 8 to 5 jobs compared to the millennial where most parents were civil servants close early from work get home to have time for the children and family. In the 90s and early 2000's secondary school and uni days there was bullying but not to kill a person living in a hostel because he stole. Even Federal Uni students will hands off when they see its becoming bloody. The children of this days are heartless 💔 sorry to say. How training is far from homes now. GOD HELP US

  16. Such has happened in O.A.U,about 2 years ago.The culprits should be killed by hanging ,it"harsh but it will minimize jungle justice. You can imagine, even in a private Anglican University.God abeg help us in Naija.

  18. The Culprits should all dance to the Evil music

They should all be dealt with same they killed the Deceased.

May the Soul if the Deceased find Rest

Parents should please train their Male Kids and stop saying “He’s a Child”. Those kids grow up to be Adult to either be Good or Evil.

    1. They likely already had blood on their hands before getting to school. They simply found like minded ppl to continue their evil with. A university is typically a place where critical thinking and self control are taught, there is the expectation that you will go and become somebody in the world. The idea of beating a fellow student to death over a phone would not be something the average student would ever conceive of. These ppl are not serious students, they are not builders but destroyers that their parents know are no good.

    2. Honestly, already this callous at such a young age. They need to be sent to prison for a very long time.

  22. The school system failed the concern student . Where is the hostel Porter's? Are there not noise coming from the room? Because he was beaten for hours, imagine where a school is so expensive with no system in place to checkmate such deadly Incident. That is no school.
