DeletePlease where is it written in the Bible as a rule? I.e. that you must pray in known tongues before drifting into the tongues of the Holy Ghost? Please there is no rule to that effect. In fact, if you want to really penetrate the spiritual realm faster and easier, you pray in tongues first before tabling your request. That way, you are showing absolute dependence on the Holy Spirit to answer your prayers.
Personally, at my devotion time, I start with 15 - 20 minutes of praise & worship, then I pray in tongues for a long while (minimum 30 minutes). After that, I bring my requests before Him (the Holy Spirit). When I am fasting, not less than 2 hours daily. Praying in tongues is more important than praying in your own language. In fact, it is the most important activity in the life of a Christian.
By the way, the only way to overcome and be victorious in this world of depravity and decadence is to pray in tongues daily. John 16:13. The Holy Spirit sees your heart, reads it and communicates it to the Father. He also tells you each step of the way of your life, what to do and what's up next (that's if you will listen and obey).

Payment and church service same day, infact I get One Priest friend, I will just call him and ask him when he will be free for me to come to his Paris for our wedding. Lol.

But all children are born with personality and assertiveness of some description. They know what they want, and when and how to get it; they also know what they don't want to eat, wear, hear, say and do!
All parents or carers need help to build relationships that create trust and allow for mutual discussion and respect. Giving guidance can easily become criticism, emphasising the child's faults; a much better approach is to positively point the child to a solution. Children need to hear, 'I'm not on your back - I'm on your team!'
When normal conflict arises, it's tempting to become overbearing or frustrated. When you shout, insult or humiliate the child, you lose sight of your parental goal of guiding and training. This leaves them feeling angry and disempowered, and uncertain of themselves and you - an invitation to rebellion. But if you guide your child as one who is on their team, with patient practical help, links will be forged that encourage cooperation, trust and mutual respect.

DeleteThe quest for more money has led so many Nigerians into deep wickedness. Our government need to put more strict regulations into what we consume in this country.
ReplyDeleteThis part of the country where I stay is presumed to be blessed with fresh and cheap fruits but wickedness has entered deep into the hearts of men that we inject chemicals into fruits to enable it ripen quick, look big, enticing and fresh just to make more money without considering the health of the consumer.
Ask yourself again. That fruit you are selling, can you eat it? I have been battling with serious stomach aches for days due to bad mangos. I warned myself the last time I saw a heap of mangos covered in serious cardboard. The chemical was so strong that the woman had to use gloves to apply it but longer throat will not allow me remove eyes from fruits. Before now you can buy carrots, cucumber, banana etc and keep them for days without it going bad. Not anymore. A day is enough to make them decay/shrink due to too much chemicals injected into them. No wonder general hospitals have more crowd than most football spectators.
