Nigerian Women Becoming Endangered Gender At Home

What is going on with women (Both young and old) in Nigeria being killed for ritual purposes or otherwise? It has become a trend now and so scary .....
A Father of two girls told me yesterday that he always has to check up on his girls and make sure that they are home by 6pm and that is when his blood pressure comes down... It is that bad!!!
What is responsible for the recent killings of so many young women? Is it dr#gs or what? What do you think and how can this new trend be stopped...
Remember that Police only wades in to arrest and not prevent the crime...

  1. Everyone wants to get rich quickly now without putting in the legal work and some parents are encouraging them. It’s a shame really.

    1. You nailed it!
My mum is constantly comparing her children with other people bought jeep for their mum, they paid for her trip abroad, etc
I calmly remind her about children killing their mother or causing heartache to their parents.

    2. Young ladies saying they can't suffer in their father's house and still go and suffer with husband.. It's a wrong mentality.

  4. Weaponized misogyny (hatred of women)
    Spread of incel ideology
    Consumption of pornography (violent)
Lack of introspection by men,who would rather blame and project their lack of emotional regulation * failures on women
Undiagnosed mental illness, worsened by addictions

    1. Deathly violence (except in case of inevitable self defence) is not supported at all.
But all blames are not on the men/boys as insinuated by above points apart from point 3 because there are women in love with that too.

Our elders say to teach the chicks, reprimand the errant chicks, and then cuss the hawk.
      There are opportunistic crimes.
We all should guard against it.
May God help us all to know the times and protect us when we fail to hear well.

They must belong by force. They must hammer by fire by force.
Yahoo, rituals for money, and the ladies falling prey at all times.
    And again end times.

[1] Remember that there will be difficult times in the last days. [2] People will be selfish, greedy, boastful, and conceited; they will be insulting, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and irreligious; [3] they will be unkind, merciless, slanderers, violent, and fierce; they will hate the good; [4] they will be treacherous, reckless, and swollen with pride; they will love pleasure rather than God; [5] they will hold to the outward form of our religion, but reject its real power. Keep away from such people.

  7. When the wicked people doing these things won't want to work legitimately to ball and groove. Lazy people everywhere.
May God's judgement not delay on this one and may He continue to keep us all safe out there.

  8. Its the get rich quick syndrome, its a pandemic now. The rate at which children from 14yrs and above involve in money ritual is alarming oo.

  9. The reason behind this is multifaceted; when you look at the lazy nature of a large pull of our youth, who have developed an entitlement to other people's efforts and sweat. Through the discontentment and greediness of many young females, the get-rich-quick mentality of young males, and the fraudulent nature of a few adult males, the messiness is deeply rooted. Fundamentally, it falls on the doorsteps of a badly tweaked society that puts more impress on money rather than ethical values. Moral beliefs have been submerged by immoral anecdotes, flagrantly displaced by reprobate apoplectic minds. Who ordinarily ought to know better?

Some parents also fall short, but even some of the well-brought-up children break away and raise themselves with bad values. Thereby derailing good parental nurturing. So, it's a messy situation spiralling predictably upon all by a society that no longer has the necessary framework for undermining prejudices. And assert responsive accountability. The sad reality about the consequences of this moment is that the innocent ones are mostly their victims.

Modern-day parenting styles have also contributed to the enablement of this endemic rut that has come to stay. Also pushing peer pressure to the back burner in a way is the allure and aesthetics of social media razz. These viruses are partly at the crux of the present female-endangered pandemic. The MOs are commonly the same, yet no lessons, deterrence, or custom retribution to arrest these appealing newly rebranded ill-ventures of an ailing society that has knackered our conscience

It has come to a point where females (both young and old), need to start prioritizing their safety first at every instance in their little different ways. In the course of pursuit of their respective happiness, while exposing themselves to inherent dangers conspired primarily by man and his society. One of the safety measures is financial empowerment and the urgent need to practice contentment. Because society will always use the allure of 'free fun' as bait for weaponized misogynistic innuendos.

We do need to raise our sons better; in my opinion, our daughters have been over-raised to the extent that they have been over-informed about how to and not to live life to the detriment of their terms.

  10. Some parents focus more on their girl child compared to their boy child. They feel the boy child cannot do any wrong. He is a 'price' and does not need correction or close mentoring.

  13. Everybody wants to be rich quick quick. Young boys don't want to work hard again don't believe in due process so they retort to money ritual thinking it's the easy way out .
The thought process of young boys these days is really scary
