ReplyDeleteStarted acknowledging it due to Facebook notifications and wishes from online friends.
Promised myself I was going to celebrate, or at least mark my 35th birthday.
Now, few days down the line, shame wouldn't let me post or say I'm 35 years old.
Nothing to show for it.
Absolutely nothing!
Yes! I have life which I'm grateful for.
But aside having the life, what more do I have to show for it?
More what to my what?
More starvation to my starvation?
More moneyless to my moneyless?
Even God will use my mouth to argue that I'm not an ungrateful and unappreciative someone.

Why do you have such Mindset that birthday celebrations is until you go to tge studio for photo shoot or spend money to invite those who will not add value to your life.
DeleteBirthday celebrations can be done without you cooking food or inviting millions of people. You can celebrate yourself with whatever you have, stopping setting a target of when you should celebrate yourself.
Celebrate yourself everyday of your life. Dancing and praise God on your birthday that is you celebrating your birthday in another style, change your mentality. Some are wishing for life, good health, a phone but here you are not grateful.

I digress. The seat issue was just THE LAST STRAW in Akpabio's victimization of Natasha! For a long time, he had been refusing to tender her motion for an investigation of the Ajaokuta steel industry. He would treat other senator's motions but refuse to address Natasha's. It got so bad she had to speak to her husband to intervene. As if that was not enough, the same Akpabio implied she was a prostitute by saying "this is not a nightclub" for which he was forced to tender an apology. Akpabio has been bullying Natasha for a long time. Why is that so, if I may ask? What changed in their relationship that made him start antagonizing her??? Going by his promiscuous antecedents, it is OBVIOUS THAT THIS IS A CASE OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT!

In the midst of war he
formed choirs and sang praises to God.
The devil’s strategy is to use challenges to distract you from
worshiping God.
He will send fearful rumors, discouraging thoughts...please don't forget that he is already defeated and always a liar.
No matter what he brings your ways look to God, trust Him, worship Him; You will see His wonders.
Jehoshaphat in the midst of such terror, ran to God, believed, worshipped and sang songs of praise and victory.
