''Just wanted to share an incident that happened on set few days ago. This isn’t to call anyone out, but it’s a serious reminder that we need to prioritize each other’s safety on set. During a scene, I received a kick to the chest from my colleague that wasn’t part of the script or directed by the director. It’s caused me serious pains. Had to get medication for my chest to feel better today. I did all these by myself. No assistance!
When we’re working without insurance policies or readily available first aid, unexpected physical actions like this, even if accidental, can have real consequences.
Let us all commit to sticking to the script and ensuring everyone feels safe and respected. What if something more serious had happened? Or this went south?
Every action on set, particularly physical ones, needs to be intentional and within the director’s vision.
Please let us all look out for each other and ensure our sets are always safe spaces where everyone feels secure and protected. Because our health and safety are paramount.
Our well-being should always come first.
Peace !!!''

Zubby can be very aggressive on set.
ReplyDeleteI watched one of his movies on Epic and he played the role of a mentally ill man, You need to see the very hot slaps, he was giving to other actors, as in ehh, I shivered on their behalf, I could feel their pains from behind my screen.
He needs to tone it down abeg.
Oh it was Zubby that kicked him. That one that always acts like the mad man he claimed to be.
DeleteI saw the clip. That kick was too personal, and now getting to know that it wasn't part of the script has my mouth hanging wide open in shock. Worst of all, it left an effect that needed medication.
ReplyDeleteWhat??!! Too bad.
I want to believe it's not personal and he didn't meant for it to go south but even at that he should take cautions..
ReplyDeleteWasn't part of the script? So why did he kick him?
ReplyDeleteAbeg o.
Zubby Michael... Why nah. You want kill this one again?
ReplyDeleteAgain? Has he killed before?
DeleteZubby Michael wants to turn himself to angel of death. And I used to crush on this guy that year. But he is losing it... Very sad... 😢
ReplyDeleteGet well soon bro
ReplyDeleteZubby na wicked person for real.
ReplyDeleteHe wants to eliminate others so he can be the only one shining
You are right,. Human lives are more important and should be protected during production.
ReplyDeleteSafety first!
Well said.
ReplyDeleteI don't t even like zubby Michael movies
ReplyDeleteThe kick was too much. Zubby should be calming down
ReplyDeleteIf something is not scripted why did the director not stop the filming and reprimand the actor. Fight scenes have to be scripted and rehearsed for a long time before they go to filming to ensure everyone’s safety for all the actors. On a film with good production a fight coordinator oversees and choreograph those scenes.
ReplyDeleteThere is no place for rogue actors in the industry. How you going to give someone an unscripted kick with full force in their chest where the heart lies and so many important organs like the liver are. That actor needs to be in fined heftily and banned for two years. The production also needs to be fined. Tf
Wetin Zubby dey even act self?
ReplyDeleteOga zuby take am easy
