Actress Lizzy Gold Onuwaje Calls Out Father Over His Entitlement Mentality

Actress Lizzy gold posted  a video and asked ‘why do family members have entitlement mentality?'' She used her Fathers recent action as an example of someone with entitlement mentality...
Methinks calling out her father like this isnt right!..No be everything dem dey carry enter social media...

She said
“I just want to drop this here, it is nothing serious though, why do family members have entitlement mentality? Why? Normally I always send my father money. I have his account number so what I do at night I send him money so when he wakes up in the morning. He will see the amount of money I have sent to him. I love surprises so I love always surprise my father. And trust me whenever he wakes up in the morning and sees whatever amount I have given to him he will pray for me. Say all kinds of prayers. Trust me I enjoy the prayers it gingers me to want to do more.

The Easter that just passed, my father sent me a message ‘how far nah, do easter for your papa nah’. He sent me the message in the morning and I pretended like I didn’t see it. So, at 2am in the morning I dropped a huge amount of money in his account. You know that kind of feeling nah when you don give your papa big money for your mind you know that if you wake up the kind of prayers you will see will amaze you. After sending the money I slept off only to wake up in the morning to check my message and I saw ‘thanks’ just thanks, no prayer nothing. I was like aaah what is going on here.

I called my father and he said my daughter how are you? I said I am not happy. I sent you money, money that I sent you yesterday is ten times bigger than all the monies I have been sending you and all you could tell me was thanks no prayers. He said I prayed for you in my heart nah. Prayed for me in your heart, I was like daddy I don’t pluck monies from trees ooo. I work tirelessly for my money. Those prayers I enjoy it, it gingers me to want to do more. I told him next time I will not surprise you he said no nah it hasn’t gotten to that. I told him next time daddy; I will not surprise you’’

  2. Although her concerns are valid, because gratitude spurs more blessings. But bringing it out here for netizens to dissect is a no no!

Lizzy, he is your dad, are you putting it out here for us to applaud you as a good and caring child and then degrade your dad as an ingrate?
What's your motive really for this call-out?

Y'all celebrities should censor what you put out on this cyber space, because there are wicked hearted people waiting to pounce and twitch those narratives to hurt you directly or indirectly.

  7. One would think at your age you would have sense. What is this? Talking about entitlement concerning your own father, smh.
Since you are all about entitlement, why are you bothered about his prayers? Is that not also entitlement? You have a lot of growing up to do.

  8. To give money to my parents gives me joy, even if it's my last card. My joy there is that I know they don't lack anything as long as they are life...... as he said they always pray for you in their heart and even when they call your name. (My dad do dis alot until he passed).

Am not encouraging silly entitlements from family o but giving your parents gifts should be a thing of joy not otherwise.

  12. The word entitlement has been used inappropriately. I see some people saying their parents doesn't have entitlement over their money afterall there were not begged to be born. I shake my head.

  23. why are you expecting your father to say thank you or pray for you cos you sent him money? is your choice as his child to take care of your father or not to. Are you saying for all the things your father has done for you since he gave birth to you, you have always tell him thank you or pray for him always?

The thank you or prayer sent to you when you send him money is not the real one but the one he does in the secret behind close doors.

  24. God bless you on behalf of your father.

  29. The question is, why does she like sending money at midnight? What is the rationale behind it? Makes no sense. So she will stay awake every night to send money, instead of sending money like a normal person during the day.

Lizzy, it is not the loudest prayers that gets answered. It is the heartfelt prayer. Yes, every good parents that raised their children and paid school fees, feeding e.t.c are entitled to their children's money.

Everything is actually not for the public. Don't you have friends or therapist or sending in anonymous stories as chronicle?
