EX 1st Lady Patience Jonathan Says Her Family Will Campaign For President Tinubu's Re-election In 2027

Wife of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience, has ruled out the possibility of her husband joining the 2027 presidential race to contest against President Bola Tinubu.

Mrs Jonathan said rather than contest, her family would campaign for Tinubu’s re-election because Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi, supported Jonathan’s 2011 presidential bid.

  3. It is people that take sides and support one of these politicians against the other that i pity. People that think Goodluck was better than Buhari or Buhari was better than Tinubu. One thing is for sure, they are all the same. They support, dine n wine wt each other behind closed doors. Nigeria wasn’t working before Goodluck’s time, he didnt do anything different from his predecessors, neither is it working now, this one too isn’t doing anything different from his predecessors. One thing: All of them are the same. Selfish people

    3. Unfortunately those in power decide. The vote of the masses don't matter. It's all a charade.

  10. Mama P is being factual. She realises the poor ruling of the roost (PDP) under her husband's watch gave way to APC. If those governors were liaised with and maybe VP changed with less influence and bullying of parliamentarians from them, APC will have nearly emptied out with PDP marching into their 60 years. The same Jonathan was being deceived to run under APC banner in 2023 but Mama P knew better. Jonathan is calmer now and the president is wise enough not to begrudge him about falling for the same tricks that led to his fall 10 years ago- GEJ has never been a good politician, just Nigeria's luckiest.

They understand the game better and will not cooperate with any trick to tilt the table. If the opposition has a better plan, let them present it and how they plan to have it financed. This is what ending subsidy on day one looks like and we still have Bills to pay. Better to suffer now and enjoy later after all, is it not the same subsidy that Jonathan wanted to end due to our country's poverty that the opposition seized the opportunity to deceive gullible Nigerians with? It is the people who supported the same plan and candidacy of Jonathan's that are shouting the loudest about this same subsidy removal. He understands that without facing this agbado in peace, the next option for Nigeria will be dry fasting.
