Ejiro, the Nigerian stylist who was rumoured to be missing, has addressed the controversy surrounding her sudden absence from social media and public life after speculations about her whereabouts and entrepreneur Nkechi Harry-Ngonadi
raised concerns about her well-being
Reports allege that she had been manipulated by a special Instagram prayer group owned by Joy Solomon, the convener of Abba’s Heart Ministry.
Ejiro was alleged to have been brainwashed cut her off from loved ones, and convinced her to sell her belongings and hand over the proceeds.
However, in a recent Instagram video, Ejiro dismissed the claims, stating that she was never “missing, kidnapped, or under any form of coercion”.
She expressed shock at the public outcry over her disappearance, explaining that she had been unaware of the search for her because her social media accounts had been disabled.
“I am actually Ejiro, the most talked about Ejiro online currently, the acclaimed missing lady, and I am here to talk about the alleged kidnapping, debt, cajole, and all that people have been talking about,”
“First off, I am alive and well, I was never kidnapped, cajoled, or hypnotised like some people said. I am actually addressing this a bit late because Instagram disabled my account, so I have been off social media for a while.”
She revealed that she only recently learnt about the manhunt initiated by Ngonadi, which accused certain individuals of wrongdoing.
She recounted an incident where she met with her siblings in late January after they began searching for her, which escalated into harassment of her friends and multiple police reports.
“I was just recently notified that there was a search for me, a manhunt on NHN’s page saying I am missing and all that, accusing the innocent. I am truly shocked and surprised, and I just had to address it this evening.
“There is nothing wrong with me, I am not missing. My old line was actually up until January 4, my family could reach me whenever they could. I just distance myself from them because I wanted to be alone due to family issues.
“I do not want to bring most of them here, and personal issues with myself. So, distancing myself from my family, I do not see it as a big deal. I went to meet them sometime at the end of January because my brother and my younger sister were all over the place, accusing people, looking for me, so I had to go meet them.
“I went to my younger sister’s store in Abuja and due to that confrontation, it led to several issues, they harassed my friends, it was a lot of things that we ended up in three police stations and every police station we went throughout the case said first off I am not a child, I am an adult over 18 years and I can do whatever I want to do and there is no case there.”
She dismissed claims that Joy Solomon, the group’s founder, had instructed her to close her business, calling the allegations “embarrassing and unfounded”.
“And I told them to back off, thinking that everything had ended. I changed my number because I just wanted to start my life over again, and now I have seen several allegations about me, and I am just surprised. I shut down my own business, my own homegrown business,” she said.m
“A business I grew by myself, not with my father’s money or my mother’s money. I grew the business for almost eight years, and I was having a lot of psychological breakdowns. And I decided to take a step back from my own business, and now they are accusing Prophet Joy of telling me to shut down my business, and I am surprised.
“It is my own business, I can decide what to do with it. Pastor Enoh Jerry can testify, I was having a breakdown. It was a milestone birthday for me, and I was having a breakdown, I had lots of debt. I knew I had to take a step down from that job.
“It is annoying and I am disappointed that I have to come on here and start explaining my own life to everybody, but because this is what it is, I have to just clarify things, not because of me but for every other person involved in this.
“I took a step back from my fashion business towards the end of 2023, and I do not think I owe anybody any explanation for that. I explained to my siblings that I am taking time off from the business, but it is nobody’s business.
“Let’s assume that the allegations of me giving out my things are true, how is that anybody’s business? But even at that, I left that one aside… This is very embarrassing for me to come on live and start talking about things like this
“For me, I feel very exposed, embarrassed, disgraced. I cannot believe that I am all over the internet, and if one has to be famous for this, missing, and I am surprised with all the rubbish they have said, and I know that even coming live to talk about this would not clarify anything.
“Because people would still go about saying what they want to say, but I just needed to clarify that I am alive and well, not cajoled by anybody, not hypnotised. What else have they said? Because I just joined social media, and I have seen all sorts. Seriously, at this point, I think that people are doing me dirty. This is not fair.”
`` My family didn't tell people that they could reach me on my mail, I have been communicating with them and they even sent me money recently for my birthday

Chai Ejiro has been brainwashed...See moju powder foundation she rubbed and the yeye wig...From the video, you will know that people were in the background, telling her what to say....
ReplyDeleteThis is the straw that will break the camel's neck of Joy Solomon....Your liberation is here, Ejiro....
This is exactly my thought, may God help her.
DeleteWhenever you need to stay with your spiritual whatever and upend your whole life, it’s control.
ReplyDeleteSomeday I will tell the story of a sibling. After 10years, she broke free and found us. She left with only her documents. Everything else was left behind. And they claim she came empty handed 😂🤣 she can’t even boast of money in her account.
DeleteThey are real. Just be careful
This one has been thoroughly brainwashed, nothing a little mending wont solve though. Just wipe am oraimo cord for neck or nack am two by two and her eye go clear.
ReplyDeleteHahaa... E be like Na only Vawulence you understand
DeleteSo who's telling the truth then? , why don't you establish a more comfortable means of communication, rather than emails, that you may not reply. If they declared you missing, then you are truly missing sis.
ReplyDeleteit's well.
ReplyDeleteThank God she's alive and well
ReplyDeleteAlive, but is she well???
DeleteThis whole explanation is off
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope she's okay...
She said that she is okay that it was her brother and sister that were putting info out there . End time family.
DeleteWhen I read the story I thought that she was kidnapped,or that she was cajoled to sell her properties.
Believe any News you read on social media at your risk. What if the church sued them for defamation??
I hope so too
DeleteAnon 12:17, so with all these yeye narrations you read from her you still think her family was wrong, yeah? Where have you seen any adults in their right frame of mind sold off their properties, closed down their business only allow email to be a communicating channel between her and family and also without them knowing where exactly she resides. Like are for real or just one of Joy's team members?
DeleteAnon 12: 17 What is the bullcrap you typed up there...It was NHN who started asking about her and Ejiro's family has been concerned....Ejiro cut off from her family...Or are you part of the Abbas girls that have come to misinform the public....If you are not following the story, then stop spreading lies...
DeleteNaa waaaa oooo!!! Who started this false information??? And why do they put the blame on the church???
ReplyDeleteThe way fake news fly on social media eeee, once it's posted before you know it ,it goes viral. You will be minding your business before you know it your name is flying everywhere. Idle minds.
Her family members that were going public to spread the rumors,to what gain?
I don't blame people when they cut toxic people off their lives. That they are family doesn't means that they are all good and saints.
I hope you bounce back.
Joy Solomon weldone
DeleteAbbas Girls or Baby Welcome...We know you want to misinform the public....It is Ejiro that will end your cult activities...You don jam rock....
Delete12:07.. I am sure you are a member of the GROUP, for her write up to make so much sense to you
DeleteI believe her. Thank you she's hale and heart against what the public made us believe.
ReplyDeleteIf disappearing makes you want to re-evaluate, please do.
I guess she came to a point in her life material things didn't matter to her anymore. She just wants to be free and happy.
Madam your words are not well coordinated but let just believe all is well with you
ReplyDeleteShe has been brainwashed.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad to read! Please you have to be very careful, if you're going to join any prayer group.. You can't just accept their invitations anyhow, because the end result is partly this woman's case. I am just disturbed that joining a prayer group actually took a dark turn, without her realizing. People, especially women should not just be emotional and be carried away with all these prayer groups... It is important to know how to seek God on your own and most importantly have faith that God will answer you, while pursuing peace with all...Some women will even sell some of their husbands property to do give away or sow seed to either their on line or off line pastors. The police can't help, since she is above 18 years. I pray the light of God will remove the veil on Ejiros face in Jesus name. Amen.
ReplyDeleteAyo, you have said it all. Do you need to join a so-called prayer group before God answers you? The Lord himself said- go inside your closet, shut the door and pray to your Father who is in heaven.
DeleteRuthless by Tyler Perry.
ReplyDeletePlease try am watch it .
It very similar to what is going on here . It on Netflix.
DeleteI pity those going church to church for solution.
This is purely family issues.
ReplyDeleteHow Did She Allow Herself To Be Brain washed ooo...
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhh it is Well ooo..

ReplyDeleteShe didn't sell any house though, she was a tenant. Only subletted it out cos she couldn't renew her rent. Only sold the furniture to they new occupants. I think they should free her let her learn the hard way of, HAD I KNOWN
ReplyDeleteEjiro I hope you are okay
ReplyDeleteThe part she says her family can contact her via email. Confirms she has been isolated from them. How can you live in the same country with your family and for them to reach you is via email? Nah all of them you no dey follow talk?
ReplyDeleteIt does seem that she's in a cult but at the same time she has unresolved family issues. This cult thing is scary.
ReplyDeleteI cover my family members with the blood of Jesus as these manipulators come in all forms. If a spouse, friend, job, group is making you feel the need to isolate yourself in any way and then they now become your family, you're being abused. In my own experience, being with an abusive husband was like being in a cult.
I hope Ejiro can heal whatever is bothering her without the need to follow that brainwashing group.
This her bla bla talk further confirms what her family said. She's already far gone. I pray she gets delivered.
ReplyDeleteMay God deliver you
ReplyDeleteHer family should help her eeee! She is in bondage, don't leave her ooo.
ReplyDeleteEjiro you're already brain washed when e go clear from your eyes it will be late . That is why it's necessary for one to know thy God
ReplyDeleteIn 2005, I was heartbroken from the death of my sibling and teo months later, I was raped by a family friend. Thus began the journey of faith. I needed healing and help, so I ran to the church. A Pentecostal church that I won't mention it's name here. I was asked recommended for lecture job and out of excitement and innocen e, I testified in church. A visiting pastor climbed on stage and said " they would deal with me because I testified so soon and that I won't go far in life". 2006 I was supposed to start work, but guess what nothing came out of it despite graduating as the best student from one of the most prestigious universities in the country.
ReplyDeleteIn search of healing, I met another pastor, in a different church who said those ones are not real and that he knows what I was going through. Next he said was that my father was behind my problem and that I should isolate. O never did because I was barely 22, completed NYSC with no job. This man took control of my thought process and brainwashed me to the point that I nearly lost my life... I attempted suicide. Fortunately I got a job but the pay is extremely low, went on to have a master's and PhD. In 2013, an American woman sent me a mail in my inbox and said "God told her to tell me that what I think is true, is not and that I should reconsider". I asked her to explain because I do not understand and she said "you are brainwashed and God has seen your heart and wants to heal and free you. I broke down in tears as it seems a garment was tore in my eyes and heart.
It took me years before I finally healed. I completely free myself in 2020 when I went through divorce. But 2025, gave me the healing that I need. I still asked God to raise people that will help me because I'm passionate in teaching and research but it seems the door is locked by that evil pastor.
I pray for Ejiro and others like me who got brainwashed on account of their vulnerability. It will take long to heal but God will surely heal them.
