Finally, Senator Natasha Akpoti has responded to the livestream done by US based Dr Mgbeke heaping allegations on her head.........
She posted
''Fellow Nigerians, I have carefully watched a livestream which was done by one Sandra C Duru on facebook, on May 1st, 2025. The content of the livestream including the voice effect credited to me are entirely untrue, and most manipulated to serve Sandra Duru’s ulterior motive of playing the script of Senator Godswill Akpabio (who called 47 minutes into her during her live stream… see attached).
To the best of my knowledge, those words used against Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Dr. Abiola, FIDA and good Nigerians as “Gullible and Hungry”, Yoruba Government etc are crazy falsehood and did not emanate from the natural cause of any contact involving me. It was from recent research that I also found out that the person who now represents herself as Sandra Duru is the same person who operated as Prof. Mgbeke on Facebook.
In the nearest of time, I will respond to the unfounded allegations made therein.

I am really amazed that people still don't grasp the wickedness that occurs in Nigeria. As educated as we seem, people would be demanding dispute parties to tender evidences in public. If parties prefer to settle their dispute in court, that is the appropriate avenue to present their evidences. We are not judges, and it is time for people to quit doing things the wrong way. No one should succumb to public pressure to present evidence intended for the court. Do not be biased in topics to which you are not privy until the law declares any party guilty. Except for what both sides have told us, we have no idea what happened or when it occurred. Natasha or Akpabio could be guilty, and only the court can decide. We should advocate for accountability and openness in our justice system so that people can be held accountable for their conduct. This is one way change can occur.

He who alleges must prove, so she doesn't choose when and what suits her manipulations. The public she ran to is demanding proof. If she had run to the court initially and not Arise TV and SM as it should have been that's a different matter, she didn't. We are in our right to demand proof. DeleteYou shouldn't be able to act drama in public then retreat to the law courts hoping for a dismissal so you can say you were not allowed to present evidence. The public space that accommodated your allegation, the wrongly addressed complaint and the corrected version also has space for your proof.
