When she was speaking with arise and Brekete, she didn't fear for her life. When she was narrating to international media, she was like a firebrand. When she flew into Igbiraland and addressed an unscreened crowd without any protective gear for about an hour, alleging that fellow Nigerians were plotting her death without presenting an iota of evidence, she was as bold as someone on loud. When she was blowing kisses in court in light fabric that can't stop any bullet, she was as chested as braveheart.

DeleteFirst, this post is a report of an allegation by Dr. Sandra Duru. Senator Natasha A-Uduaghan may still be in Nigeria. In other news today, her lawyers have declared that they have a bagful of evidence on her behalf.
ReplyDeleteAll that has been consistently asked of her is to present this vaunted bagful of credible and verifiable evidence in support of her allegations. Nigerians are well trusted to rise in her support. As our people ask: “If a person stays as an apprentice for 20years, when would the person start practicing the craft being learned?”
In the last decided case on one of her allegations in a social media “info tip” to the EFCC, the court scolded her for alleging a non-existing fact. Worse of it was that she could have easily verified from official (court) records that what she said was not fact. That case went to her credibility. We all know what happened to the proverbial boy who regularly “cried wolf” when there was none.
On the unfairness of Nigeria. The plain fact is that Nigeria is unfair to all its citizens that are out of political power and or without access to government money in any way.
Look at the women whose husbands are in government political and financial power. Are they fair to other Nigerians? How is it that they do not sit their husbands down to the truth in/of Nigeria?
On the flip side, how is it that the women of Nigeria will never vote for a woman even at the lowest level where elections cannot be easily manipulated. A woman would rather vote for a man than another woman. Yet without political power, the status quo remains.
And the worst of all, cross the path of a Nigerian woman who has access to power, that is when you know Nigeria in its true colours. It is either you are blessed if you find favour, or you and your family are grinded out totally when she is offended by your right actions. That “our” favourite hibernating actress and politician who the majority of Female BVs hail here when she “beats” men is a good example of how the Nigerian woman in/having political power behaves when she feels offended. Nearly every Nigerian MAN and WOMAN in power or controlling government money does not know how to use either or both. They are similarly oppressive.
Madam fell out in the power game. What she is seeing now is usual in Nigeria. That is how it happened even for players in political weight categories heavier than hers. When a woman’s noods was used to blackmail her out of the ministerial nominees’ list, in the hope that the blackmailer’s husband would get the nomination, it was a part of the game.
When Senator Natasha A-Uduaghan was enjoying the bounties of the power game she did so as the typical Nigerian politician. She never presented a pro-women or people welfare bill at the Senate. There is no interview of hers on girl child advocacy. When she lost out, she remembered she is a woman – a feminist. And the people who have been or are being oppressed think she is fighting for them when she is fighting for herself only. Very laughable.
Let her bring her fact checkable evidence. She knows as a lawyer or let her retinue of SANs remind her: Facts are the fountain head of the law, and (s)he who alleges must prove.
When VDM talks, “we” brand him cho cho cho; when Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan alleges, “we” drink it all in one gulp like made in Kogi kunu.
