ReplyDeleteNatasha needs to be wise as she had far more to lose. She had earlier denied speaking to this lady and has been proven wrong. Her calls to this lady were recorded but was the conversation between Yahaya and Akpabio plotting to.kill her as she alleges recorded? Is she ready to be distracted by another case from Reno who can then file regarding her unfounded Oluwole allegations against him?
ReplyDeleteIt seems this Mgbeke lady has a history like the usual jail house snitch- swindling people, false claims of wealth, unfounded allegations against a guy who she was manipulating for free rides, having/using more than 1 social security number/identity etc but she is not a senator and law enforcement use the testimonyof jail house snitches all the time. If things get hot with ICE, she is in Nigeria and if not, she doesn't have a high profile career to lose but Natasha does. If the court nails Natasha on a criminal case, that goose is cooked. If the case is dismissed, it still constitutes a distraction to her campaign for a very tight senate race where her party is emptying out and her rival is the arch player in the politics of her state. Social media hype won't help. She needs to get serious lawyers, keep away from online shenanigans, repair relationships with her colleagues and convince her constituents that she can bring more than drama. Her previous performance as head of local content allowed her do so much but with all these burned bridges even with her state senators and the minority caucus, what's the hope of anything juicy enough to drop on the constituents? If it wasn't beneficial to deliverat home, she wouldn't have fought and complained to keep the post.
You voluntarily entered politics. Now play it. The people hailing you on social media don't know after about 2 months that Prof Mgbeke is a moniker. They don't have enough data to listen to the drawn out release by Sandra Duru. They don't know the consequence of a criminal conviction on a political career. They don't understand subnational or any kind of politics. They don't know the unwritten rules of parliament that have canceled out any effectivity for you in this assembly. You can't afford to be carried away.
