Their reason was that they don't want the charges to be complex.
Hence, the need to narrow it down for the jury.
(But we all know they took off the ones without juice)
Now before you praise the Lord for Diddy, he's still facing five serious federal charges including, racketeering conspiracy, s-x tr-ff--king, and transportation for pr-stitution.
Everybody knows he had the pr--sti--tutes and moved them across different states.
But racketeering???
During the closing argument today (Thursday), an assistant attorney Christy Slavik's fired sh0-ts at Diddy.
She said he's the leader of a criminal enterprise, a person who doesn’t take no for an answer. A man who believes he's above the law because of his wealth, power and fame.
She explained the racketeering conspiracy charge to the jury (I needed to know too)
Slavik said in the eyes of the law, any crime committed as part of a group (enterprise), makes someone more powerful and more dangerous.
She said Diddy was in charge of the enterprise, "It’s his kingdom. Everyone was there to serve him"
She described to the jury all the alleged crimes linked to the enterprise, including dr∆g distribution.
On Friday the defense presented their closing argument.
And then the jury will deliberate.
Meanwhile, did Mrs Slavik make sense?
Remember Diddy was allegedly using employees to purchase dr∆gs under different names.
