Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, in a video posted online told his congregation that believers should give offerings that are larger than their tithes.
He stated that tithing is foundational to achieving prosperity.
He stated that tithing is foundational to achieving prosperity.
“Tithe is the foundation of your covenant to prosperity. Don’t wait until month-end before you pay your tithe. Anytime you get money, pay 10% back to God as a lifestyle,” he said.
“In a month your offering should be bigger than your tithe. My offering, for instance — I don’t give less than 20 percent. That’s why I’m not poor. Increase your offering more than your tithe and you’ll never be broke,”

Everyone should know Godnfor themselves.

ReplyDeleteI pity gullible Nigerians
ReplyDeleteI do not agree.
ReplyDeleteEverybody should know God for themselves.
It is better we all know God for ourselves
ReplyDeleteThese pastors are confused ๐ค๐ค
This one has left his calling to be a tithe and offering pastor.
ReplyDeleteStudy your bible and you will know God for yourself.
Jesus mentioned that, if you give your tithes and you don’t show mercy and compassion to people, you’re a hypocrite.
My tithes is for the widows, less privilege and if I don’t see them, I will eat my tithes just as God said in the bible
I am a staunch Pentecostal and Bible Scholar and I am so sick and tired of the self-appointed businessmen and spokesmen of 'GAD' not God. A lot of Nigerian and African pastors are DIE HARD PREDATORS who prey on the ignorance and spiritual laziness of their flocks. The Bible is there, open and clear to all who bother to open and study it. And both the Old and New Testaments are very relevant. Jesus Christ was very clear about spiritual finance. And giving whether tithe, offering, vow, sacrifice has always been an INDVIDUAL thing based on personal relationship with God. But even in this trying times with unabating leaping inflation, these CON MEN will not stop plying their trade. Abroad, pastors sow, give and ensure their members comfort in difficult times such as we are faced with in Nigeria not FLEECE their members. This particular man of 'god' has never impressed me in any way and I just unseen his messages since ages past. What a disappointment to the body of Christ. I was raised in AG, where only love leads; where the church was the succour of members at all times including hard times, wedding, naming, burial, advancement etc. The love was so real and pure such that individual extended families came second in meeting the needs of their members. But these WOLVES emerged and turned the body of Christ into a commercial bank with back to back insatiable profits as the goals. They are so blinded by their greed that they cannot read the handwritings on the wall. No wonder he church has become another social gathering for TOXICITY far superior to the family and village meetings.
ReplyDeleteNailed and pinned...Gbam!!
Deletewerey alaso ni enh
ReplyDeleteHahahaha so the gospel of Jesus is all about billing and transactions okwaya? I love how dem dey expose themselves one by one; it is left if you want to be a sheeple or a true believer of God....No genuine preaching about being transformed; na so so money.....Alright....
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the movie.. The message and the messenger ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
ReplyDeleteKuku collect everything na. Make everyone submit their salary to church make we rest. Pastor billings
ReplyDeleteI'll always say it, i don't blame all these pulpit bandits one bit. Mugu must drop for guy man to chop so let the gullible followers continue in their stupidity. Awon oni gospel 'god for sale'
ReplyDeleteAt this point, we all should know God personally and study the word of regularly and pray for understanding and discerning spirit because what's happening to our pastors.
ReplyDeleteOffering and tithing is good. Do it for thanksgiving to God and not to buy Gods Favour. God blessing is for all, not only to those who pay tithe and give offerings. Whatever you do, don’t forget the needy among you, you are God instrument to their lives. for this pastor, he knows what he is looking for.
ReplyDeletePreach Preacher ๐๐๐
ReplyDeleteTithe is no longer enough to buy "gods" blessings, your full salary might.
ReplyDeleteThis man go soon carry gun and tires
ReplyDeleteRemain to tell them to give you their clothes & go home naked. Nansense!
ReplyDeleteWhere is ZARAM, the defender of all these tithe and offering guzzling "pastars"? I'm waiting for your comments.
ReplyDeleteThey are no longer hiding their selfishness and greed.
ReplyDeleteThat is why a lot of Nigerians are still struggling with poverty!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to them.
ReplyDeleteThe more you pay the more blessings you receive, so stop complaining & keep paying ok.
The Most Complex B
This man and prophet Jeremiah seem to be from the same space...money money money
ReplyDeleteThe GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST is for the SALVATION OF SOULS.
ReplyDelete*What THIS PASTOR SAID here IS NOT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST ❗* BEWARE OF MEN WHO ENSNARE YOU with FALSE TEACHINGS and DOCTRINES OF DEMONS❗
Ask yourself, HOW MUCH HAVE YOU GIVEN TO YOUR OWN PARENTS WHO MADE SACRIFICES TO TRAIN YOU ❓❓⁉️
*1 Corinthians 13:3* "...though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing."
Giving is FREEWILL. NOT by COMPULSION or MANIPULATION .
Let NOBODY DECEIVE YOU WITH PROSPERITY PREACHING .
JESUS CHRIST DID NOT COLLECT TITHE from His disciples and the multitude that followed Him.
*Deuteronomy 14:28*
TITHE is an OLD TESTAMENT LAW IN JUDAISM to take care of the Levites who got no land inheritance among the 12 tribes of Israel, and for the poor, orphans, widows, strangers/foreigners in Israel.
GIVE BY FREEWILL to GOD and the POOR ACCORDING to the NEW TESTAMENT TEACHING OF JESUS CHRIST and HIS DISCIPLES, and NOT BY THE MANIPULATIONS of ANY PASTOR OR PROSPERITY PREACHER❗
