INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.

Rainy season is my second favourite season. I love the harmattan period first, then the rainy season. I love the smell of rain before and after it falls. I love the sound of rain hitting the roof. I love the loud claps of thunder and the bright streaks of lighting across the sky.

I love it when it’s raining so hard and the wind is so strong you begin to fear for your roofs. When I was younger, I would stay out in such rain and enjoy how hard the strong wind hits my face and body. I found it really thrilling.

I stopped doing that as an adult when I understood the dangers of being hit by lighting or objects thrown around by the wind. I have taught my kids to play in the rain, too.

I allow them to stay out till it becomes a little bit heavy, then they come in. They used to beg to stay out when the rain is heavy and all but after they stumbled on a video of thunder striking down a tree and setting it on fire. They run out of the rain and into the house at the sound of the first thunder.

One of my fondest memories from my childhood is running out of the house on very windy days. You know that strong wind that makes an eerie whirling sound. I would pause at the gate to see which direction the wind was blowing and run against that direction.
I would run so fast and barefooted, struggling to breath because of how fast I was running and how hard the wind was blowing against my face and body and would squeal in delight at the thrill of it I would keep changing direction with the wind and the first heavy pelting of the rain drops, painful but exhilarating.

I miss doing that, for some weird reason my parents never found out. I always had an excuse to dash out.

If I had been caught, I would have been placed on fasting and prayers by them, and they would have fixed additional deliverance programs just for me. I can imagine their faces and the look that would have passed between my parents upon discovery .
It would have sealed my fate, I can even guess the pastor that would have been invited to cast out whichever spirit was responsible for my strange behaviour.

This feels like i wrote it cos i LOVE RAIN..I even ebg people to send me videos of rain........Feels like i wrote it except the last part about parents...I was always sick after playing in the rain cos i always caught cold.......I would run in the rain from like Oshodi to Apapa....hahahahahahhaha ..I hope that you and the family are enjoying the new beautiful house....

Simple Ways to Take Care of Your Mental Wellbeing

Maintaining good mental health doesn’t have to be complicated. A mix of self-care, healthy habits, and the right support can make a big difference in how you feel daily. Here are some helpful tips to boost your mental wellbeing:

 SELF-CARE
--- Practice mindfulness or meditation to calm your mind.

--- Get moving! Exercise boosts feel-good hormones and reduces stress.
--- Spend time in nature—even just 30 minutes outside can lift your mood.

LIFESTYLE HABITS
---Prioritize sleep (aim for 7–9 hours per night).
--- Eat healthy meals—like fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins.
--- Stay hydrated! Water helps with focus and energy.

 SOCIAL CONNECTIONS
--- Stay connected with loved ones—relationships matter.
--- Join groups or communities with shared interests.
---Volunteer—helping others can give you a sense of purpose.

SEEKING SUPPORT
--- Don’t bottle things up—talk to someone you trust.
-- If needed, reach out to a mental health professional.

- Your mental wellbeing matters. Take small steps every day—and remember to be kind to yourself.

WEIRDFACTS

---Libation, the practice of pouring a drink in memory of the deceased, was common in Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome
Humans have been "pouring one out" for more than 5,000 years

----Sometimes you have to forget whats gone, appreciate what still remains, and look forward to what's coming next.

----Albert Camus once said: "I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live as if there isn't and die to find out that there is"

I even thought you wanted to project that she scammed Stella or bvs during giveaway or any other scam with the tribal inconsistency.

If I speak Hausa tomorrow now or I introduce the Hausa name that was given to me by Fulani friends now you will say I am not Igbo. So out of all the problems in this life na who change her language name naime dey bother you?

  15. The current state of bad roads and insecurity on our roads in Nigeria is not only a significant inconvenience but also a financial burden on individuals and businesses. The unsafe and poorly maintained road infrastructure often leads to longer travel times, vehicle damage, and ultimately higher transportation costs. See now what should ideally cost around 40,000 Naira for land travel from Lagos to Enugu, I have to pay over 200k Naira for a flight of an hour and few minutes hmmm.

To me this situation is particularly frustrating when considering the potential loss of funds that I should have allocated towards more important things Instead, this not pleasure at all.
Make them fix tran line mmba, good roads mmba, security mmba,, already 2027 noise na him dey them make in 2025...e no go better for these people oooo.

  22. A new customer came. From her dressing you would tell she's a church person. We had a good time conversing and laughing. I picked styles that would look good for her because her kind of church woman dressing is too ancient that even the ones worn by England people is way better than it . I had to even reduce price for her which I hardly do for people because I don't over charge anybody wether wealthy or not. I have a fixed price for simple styles. If there is anything that needs to be bought, the customer will buy by themselves but my workmanship is fixed no matter your level because I no get strength to dey beat price with people. When my old customers market me to other people who like the dress I made, they tell them what to expect, "she has a fixed price but you have to buy things that needs to be bought"

Now, this sister wants to bobo me. From our conversation, she revealed that she's a prophetess, reason she dresses that way. She asked me if I am married, I said no, asked me about relationship I told her I don't have, she paused for some minutes, because of her facial expression and her reaction when I told her about relationship, I asked her why she reacted that way, she said I should not worry she will look into that. Back to when she came into my shop, she said she came to look for another tailor but didn't see the person so she had walk around and that's how she found me. I told her, "it's God that brought you here, the Lord works in mysterious ways" I didn't know she was a prophetess when I told her that God made her to find me o. Now, because it seemed to her like I would be desperate for a marriage miracle, she decided to pay me incomplete money. She transferred part payment and told me how much she wants to pay me as balance when she comes to get her clothes. This is not what we bargained o. I even reduced price from what I normally charge customers o. Immediately she transferred the the part payment, she stood up, took my measurement book and wrote her phone number, asking me to call her today. I gave a big smile like am already falling for her manipulation. Me call you? I tell you say I be miracle seeker. My marriage is already settled wether you pray for me or not Madame. Nobody is God's mouth piece for me in terms of marriage and any good thing that is missing in my life. She will wait for my call tire. I no fit try am and she will pay me my complete money. I no send her title anymore. How can you use because you feel that you have something to offer to me (prayer/miracle)and use it to manipulate me? Na you want use your hand collect money for reward of prayer? Her spirit didn't tell her that I am not a desperate miracle seeker? Lol
