INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

These last few days have been super exhausting . My kids have a sleeping disorder . Their sleep routine is wonky, it started with my first from birth, he wouldn’t sleep at night and would just sleep for few hours in the day and that was all. This continued until he was three years old and placed on medications to sleep. His siblings were born, and they slept from the get-go, but around a year, plus they started the same sleep routine as his.

There are days they settle in to sleep early ( 10:00pm) and it can last for a month or so and when they do this, they wake up around (2:00 – 3: 00 am) and they are up for the day. Even when medicated, they will sleep properly, and a week in their sleep routine will scatter again.

I was frustrated with the whole sleep issue and invited my sister over to help sleep train them once again, I was really hoping it would work this time around and we would be able to get them to sleep like other kids with the regular 9: 00 pm – 6: 00 am routine but two weeks in I gave up.

I gave up because I was exhausted from doing all I could do to tire them out in the day so they could sleep early still they weren’t sleeping. Also, my sister and I started to exchange stories of how she and I would stay awake till the wee hours of the morning since as far back as we can remember.

We would stay awake reading story books with lanterns then we moved on to novels and night movies on MITV and DBN television stations and when we were out of options we would stay awake reading the dictionary and old news paper till we tire out. Yet we still had to wake up early to go to school.

Even in the university, we were night owls. So we just concluded that what if the kids were like us. We would be wasting our time and energy trying to tire them out to sleep early. I will still take positive steps to aid their sleep time, but I am not pressuring myself, and I am going to be less anxious about the whole process and just embrace the whole thing. Which means their sleep time is around 2:00am till 11:00 am, sometime they sleep way later or a little earlier.

You make motherhood so interesting.....

I know some women might not agree with this, but I'll share my perspective anyways.
Contrary to the popular belief that a man's love automatically makes his wife submissive, I believe a man also struggles to fully love a woman who isn’t a supportive partner.

For a woman to earn a man’s love and respect, she needs to understand her role and be willing to fulfill it; and this is why it's crucial for women to identify their purpose in a relationship before committing to it.

Without this understanding, the foundation for love and respect may be lacking.
The biblical account of the creation of man and woman already highlights the importance of companionship. When God created Eve, Adam recognized her as 'bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh,' which ignited his love and attraction.

This story suggests that a woman's role extends beyond being loved; she is meant to be a supportive partner. And to establish a successful relationship, both partners must play vital roles.

A woman who understands her purpose and supports her partner can cultivate a deeper bond and love. This doesn’t imply inferiority or subservience; rather, it signifies a complementary partnership where both work together to build a strong, loving relationship.

If a woman doesn’t give a man reasons to love and appreciate her beyond physical attraction, it can be challenging for him to maintain love and respect for her.

Physical attraction might spark initial interest, but deeper emotional connections are necessary for lasting love and respect.
I hope you understand this as a woman though.

The definition of a real man.

What's sad these days is that most women will go their entire lifetime and never experience the meaning of actual true love.

We unfortunately live in a generation with men who have no idea what it takes to be a real man.

A real man asks about your day and genuinely cares about the answer.

A real man respects your boundaries and never forces you to anything you're not ready to do.

He makes time for you, and takes that time to learn and understand who you are as a person.

A real man consistently shows you the definition of effort with every day that passes.
He will call you randomly throughout the day just to check on you and your mental health.

A real man is undeniably committed to you and looks for new ways to fall in love with you with every day that passes.
He makes protecting your heart a number one priority.

A real man never makes permanent decisions based on temporary emotions.
He never confuses you on where you stand in his life.

A real man apologizes when he is wrong and stays true to his character.
He doesn't mind hurting other people's feeling to protect yours.

A real man gives you affection without s#xual expectation.
A real man refuses to entertain any women that isn't you.

He has genuine intentions with you from day one and shows you how it truly feels to be a priority rather an option.

A real man will help you heal from the trauma that nobody apologized for.
A real man values you and would never put themselves in a position to lose you.

Take my advice and wait for the man that never let's you fall asleep at night questioning your own self worth.

    3. Hi! 😊

BV Beloved is quite a notable and recognizable personality on Stella Dimokokorkus’ blog. Based on the tone and nature of her comments, many readers see her as:

      1. Bold and Expressive – She doesn’t hold back on her opinions. Whether people agree with her or not, she speaks her mind directly and confidently.

      2. Controversial at Times – Her comments often stir reactions, both positive and negative. Some readers enjoy her presence, while others find her too blunt or provocative.

      3. Consistent and Loyal – She’s been a steady presence on the blog over the years. That kind of longevity speaks to her loyalty to the SDK platform.

      4. Funny and Sarcastic – BV Beloved often uses sarcasm and humor in her responses, which adds to her online persona and makes her stand out.

      5. Sometimes Misunderstood – Because she’s outspoken, her tone can sometimes be taken the wrong way, leading to clashes or misinterpretations.

This is what Chatgpt said about me. 🥰🥰🥰

"From what can be gathered about NNL on Stella Dimoko Korkus’s blog, they come across as:

Reflective and honest – Sharing how they initially turned down the opportunity to study nursing, but later embraced it and are now on the verge of graduating.

Determined and resilient – Returning to school and sticking through nursing training is no small feat, especially while managing a business like foodstuff vending.

Rooted in faith – Their phrase “BY HIS GRACE” suggests they rely on divine support, which is common among many Nigerians who combine hustle with spirituality.

Engaged and open – The way they post on a public blog and interact with others shows a desire for community and shared experiences.

Overall, NNL seems like someone who’s grounded, working hard, and balancing life’s opportunities with gratitude. It’s inspiring to see commenters like that—real people navigating real challenges."

  4. I read it some where that "retinol skincare product" is not good for pregnant women and that it could cause deformity/disability to the newborn. As a preggy and expectant mom you need to be careful with what you consume, what you apply on your skin because it could lead to something you have absolutely no idea of.

  6. Everybody wants peace until they realize peace means changing your tone when speaking with someone who has irritated you, no longer making everything an argument, listening before responding, setting boundaries & understanding boundaries others have set, and no longer allowing just anyone to have access to you.
Some of you don't want real peace because to require peace is to give it to others.
How do you expect peace when you're responding in toxic ways?

    Good afternoon everyone 🥳

  14. This year, I made a significant resolution to stop online betting, realizing it was time to take control of my finances. In January, I uninstalled the 9ja and sporting bet apps from my phone, instead I downloaded money point app Instead of risking my money on bets every weekend, I decided to channel those funds into a fixed savings plan.

I committed to saving 20,000 naira every Friday from January to June — the same amount I typically wagered on bets on weekends games. I realized that last year, despite only winning 180,000 naira in all my wins, I had spent much more than that overall. This morning, when I checked my savings, I was in complete shock at how much I had accumulated. Seeing a significant amount saved made me feel proud.

It was a wake-up call last December when I heard about a young boy who won 3.6 million naira; I understood that not everyone is lucky enough to win big. This realization helped me reaffirm my decision to break free from the cycle of betting. Now, I’m motivated to continue saving until December, and I can already see the positive impact it has had on my financial health and peace of mind.
To me this just the power of decision making and adhering to it.

    Good day people...🥰
    Do enjoy your special weekend...🍷🎶

Conflict Style: Rarely engages in drama. If she speaks in disagreement, it’s wrapped in velvet.
Love Language: Encouragement, grace, loyalty. She gives you a mirror, not a hammer.
Perception: Seen as emotionally grounded, spiritual, serene — possibly underestimated because of her gentleness.
Signature Vibe: “Still waters run deep.” She walks quietly but sees everything.

    🧡 Summary: Phoenix is…

    A kind, emotionally intelligent blogger

A gentle adviser with depth and warmth

A consistent presence, encouraging others and celebrating their strength

Think of Phoenix as the compassionate meditator in the blog’s community courtroom—calm words, steady spirit, and subtle encouragement.

  29. If all the bvs on SDK BLOG were in the BBNaija reality TV show, who will win, second and third position will be for who?

    ANSWER...

Assuming the SDK BLOG BVs (Blog Visitors) were contestants on the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show, the outcome would depend largely on popularity, personality perception, alliances, humor, loyalty to Stella, and consistent engagement on the blog. Based on long-standing patterns of comment engagement, fan interactions, and blog presence, here is a hypothetical outcome:

    🥇 Winner: BV Cynthia Iyede

Why: Highly active, respectful, often gives mature, heartfelt, and socially aware contributions. Popular among other BVs. Seen as authentic and drama-free — qualities that resonate with both blog readers and reality TV audiences.

    🥈 Second Place: BV Phoenix

Why: Known for wise, well-articulated comments. Sometimes introspective, sometimes witty. Balanced personality with perceived leadership traits and emotional intelligence. Would likely earn fans across the house and public.

🥉 Third Place: BV Paris Savannah

Why: Paris is known for being vibrant, outspoken, and humorous. These are strong traits for a TV personality. Likely to bring drama and spice while remaining likable — a classic BBNaija finalist trait.

    ---

    Honourable Mentions:

BV Tiana: Quiet but strategic. Could be a dark horse finalist.

BV XP: Older, experienced, and vocal. Might spark debate but respected by many.

BV Martins: Thoughtful and spiritually inclined, might gain support for staying grounded.

Of course, reality shows are unpredictable, and dynamics change weekly — but if SDK BVs brought their blog personas into the BBNaija house, this would be a strong prediction based on perceived popularity, charisma, and comment history.

Would you like a visual mock-up of this BBNaija-themed SDK BVs cast for fun?

Which bvs are likely to get married?

    ANSWER...

If we are to playfully speculate which SDK Blog Visitors (BVs) might be most likely to get married (to fellow BVs or in general), we’d consider:

    How they express relationship values

    Maturity in their comments

    Emotional intelligence

Their openness about love, marriage, or spirituality

How they interact with other BVs

Here’s a lighthearted, hypothetical list based on long-standing blog behavior:

    ---

💍 Most Likely to Get Married (Soon or Successfully)

    1. BV Cynthia Iyede

    Calm, loving, and emotionally intelligent.

Often offers mature takes on relationships.

Seems like someone who knows what she wants in a partner.

If not already married, she gives “wife material” energy.

    2. BV Tiana

Quiet, introspective, and often speaks on faith and values.

Likely to marry a like-minded person who values peace and simplicity.

Comes across as someone looking for stability over drama.

    3. BV Martins

    Strong spiritual foundation, consistent, family-oriented.

Likely to attract someone who values loyalty and faith.

Possibly someone who’d even have a blog love story.

    4. BV Phoenix

    Self-aware and emotionally mature.

Likely to have deep conversations and form meaningful bonds.

If a BV wedding ever happened, Phoenix might be a surprise groom/bride.

    ---

💘 Possible BV-to-BV Marriage Candidates (Just for Fun)

Martins & Tiana: Shared faith and calm energy.

Phoenix & Cynthia Iyede: Emotional maturity meets balance.

XP & Paris Savannah: Opposites attract — fire and ice combo.

    ---

    🎯 Honourable Mentions

BV Chocoberry: Sweet, positive energy. Deserves love and may find it.

BV Paragon7ven: Reflective, might pair well with someone with vision and purpose.

    ---

This is, of course, all in fun and not factual — unless SDK decides to host a "Match-a-BV" special on the blog!

Would you like a mock BBNaija-style “wedding ceremony” scene or invite card for any of these imaginary BV couples?

Assuming money gets missing from Lady SDK's savings account or domiciliary avlcc, which bvs is likely the thief?

    ANSWER...

    Madam,

This is a delicate and humorous hypothetical, so I shall respond in a playful but respectful tone, based on the personalities and antics displayed on SDK Blog over the years.

    ---

🔍 Hypothetically Speaking: If Money Goes Missing from Lady SDK’s Account...

Let us ask: Who among the BVs has the “mischief gene,” a sharp mind, or an unpredictable streak?

    ---

    🕵️‍♂️ Likely Suspects (In Jest!)

    1. BV Paris Savannah

Why: Sharp tongue, witty, bold, and doesn’t fear controversy. The type to “confuse the CCTV” with pepper spray and lipstick.

Motive: “I took it to arrange a surprise giveaway. Don’t vex.”

    2. BV Chike Teflon

Why: Rarely seen but pops up when drama is boiling. Might be the type to say, “Na SDK owe me that alert since 2018.”

Motive: Claims "compensation" for past blog bans or shade thrown.

    3. BV Oluwakemisola

Why: The kind that’ll confess halfway into the investigation — after fasting and watching Crime & Investigation channel.

Motive: Mistaken SDK’s savings for Blog Visitor Empowerment Funds.

    ---

🧽 Red Herring Suspects (They’d Never!)

BV Cynthia Iyede: Too decent. Likely to fundraise to replace the stolen money.

BV Martins: Would quote Psalms and raise a prayer chain for SDK’s recovery.

BV Phoenix: Would lead the BV Committee of Inquiry.

BV XP: Would write 10-paragraphs analysis, suggesting the theft was “an inside job."

    ---

    🧠 The Mastermind?

If we take this further: BV OluwaDarasimi may not have taken the money, but might know who did — and would write a cryptic message like:

    > "Some things are better left unspoken. SDK knows who and why."

    ---

    ⚖️ Verdict:

It’s all fun and fiction, but if SDK were to say,

    > “₦800,000 is missing from my dom account!”

The blog would explode with theories, denials, Bible verses, and perhaps a few anonymous “forgiveness” confessions in IHN.

    ---

Should I draft a fictional “SDK Courtroom Transcript” or “BV Interrogation Scene” based on this? It would be quite the soap opera.

Does it means that keeping quiet makes one look stupid??

' I too know,I too know ' see me looking at them and their ' knowing ' to see what they know,I see nothing but stupidity and they don't know that they are stupid because they are 'blind'.
When you feel that you are better than everyone, you prove that with actions not making others feel less or try to pull down.

When you will know that many are mad few are roaming is when someone that is inside is claiming that someone that is outside knows all that she is doing inside, and also acting like they see each other face to face by talking to himself and answers himself . With the intention that he is referring to the person that's outside.

Is it possible for one person to know every damn human in the street???
Who can define what talking to someone means???
Who talks when nobody talks?? Onye ara'.

  48. It seems “Teacher NK” is one of the community members featured in Stella Dimoko Korkus’s in‑house news section on the SDK blog.

In a March 27, 2025 post titled “THURSDAY IN HOUSE NEWS,” Stella shares a photo dubbed “Teacher NK,” celebrating her on a “Woman Crush Wednesday.” The post compliments her appearance and vitality, speculating she could live to 100, and encourages her to keep it up .

Beyond that, there’s no detailed bio or professional info about Teacher NK—no profile, background, or insights beyond the brief mention and photo. In other words, she seems to be a friend or notable figure within the SDK community spotlight rather than a formally introduced editorial contributor.

If you're curious about her role—whether she’s a teacher by profession, a frequent commenter, or active contributor—it might be worth checking previous posts on the SDK blog or commenting to ask Stella directly. Interested in digging deeper together?
