I am attending Church Barbeque party around 6 or 7pm and na there my mind dey cos i never eat since and i nor cook for house...we are all attending...lol......its not free though but its fun cos its the neighbourhood church and every summer na correct party for 8 weeks.......

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

These last few days have been super exhausting . My kids have a sleeping disorder . Their sleep routine is wonky, it started with my first from birth, he wouldn’t sleep at night and would just sleep for few hours in the day and that was all. This continued until he was three years old and placed on medications to sleep. His siblings were born, and they slept from the get-go, but around a year, plus they started the same sleep routine as his.

There are days they settle in to sleep early ( 10:00pm) and it can last for a month or so and when they do this, they wake up around (2:00 – 3: 00 am) and they are up for the day. Even when medicated, they will sleep properly, and a week in their sleep routine will scatter again.

I was frustrated with the whole sleep issue and invited my sister over to help sleep train them once again, I was really hoping it would work this time around and we would be able to get them to sleep like other kids with the regular 9: 00 pm – 6: 00 am routine but two weeks in I gave up.

I gave up because I was exhausted from doing all I could do to tire them out in the day so they could sleep early still they weren’t sleeping. Also, my sister and I started to exchange stories of how she and I would stay awake till the wee hours of the morning since as far back as we can remember.

We would stay awake reading story books with lanterns then we moved on to novels and night movies on MITV and DBN television stations and when we were out of options we would stay awake reading the dictionary and old news paper till we tire out. Yet we still had to wake up early to go to school.

Even in the university, we were night owls. So we just concluded that what if the kids were like us. We would be wasting our time and energy trying to tire them out to sleep early. I will still take positive steps to aid their sleep time, but I am not pressuring myself, and I am going to be less anxious about the whole process and just embrace the whole thing. Which means their sleep time is around 2:00am till 11:00 am, sometime they sleep way later or a little earlier.

I know some women might not agree with this, but I'll share my perspective anyways.
Contrary to the popular belief that a man's love automatically makes his wife submissive, I believe a man also struggles to fully love a woman who isn’t a supportive partner.

For a woman to earn a man’s love and respect, she needs to understand her role and be willing to fulfill it; and this is why it's crucial for women to identify their purpose in a relationship before committing to it.

Without this understanding, the foundation for love and respect may be lacking.
The biblical account of the creation of man and woman already highlights the importance of companionship. When God created Eve, Adam recognized her as 'bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh,' which ignited his love and attraction.

This story suggests that a woman's role extends beyond being loved; she is meant to be a supportive partner. And to establish a successful relationship, both partners must play vital roles.

A woman who understands her purpose and supports her partner can cultivate a deeper bond and love. This doesn’t imply inferiority or subservience; rather, it signifies a complementary partnership where both work together to build a strong, loving relationship.

If a woman doesn’t give a man reasons to love and appreciate her beyond physical attraction, it can be challenging for him to maintain love and respect for her.

Physical attraction might spark initial interest, but deeper emotional connections are necessary for lasting love and respect.
I hope you understand this as a woman though.

The definition of a real man.

What's sad these days is that most women will go their entire lifetime and never experience the meaning of actual true love.

We unfortunately live in a generation with men who have no idea what it takes to be a real man.

A real man asks about your day and genuinely cares about the answer.

A real man respects your boundaries and never forces you to anything you're not ready to do.

He makes time for you, and takes that time to learn and understand who you are as a person.

A real man consistently shows you the definition of effort with every day that passes.
He will call you randomly throughout the day just to check on you and your mental health.

A real man is undeniably committed to you and looks for new ways to fall in love with you with every day that passes.
He makes protecting your heart a number one priority.

A real man never makes permanent decisions based on temporary emotions.
He never confuses you on where you stand in his life.

A real man apologizes when he is wrong and stays true to his character.
He doesn't mind hurting other people's feeling to protect yours.

A real man gives you affection without s#xual expectation.
A real man refuses to entertain any women that isn't you.

He has genuine intentions with you from day one and shows you how it truly feels to be a priority rather an option.

A real man will help you heal from the trauma that nobody apologized for.
A real man values you and would never put themselves in a position to lose you.

Take my advice and wait for the man that never let's you fall asleep at night questioning your own self worth.
