      It's well with you.

This weather is also not helping. This is the time when one should take a lot of fruits like oranges to boost ones immune system (especially for the kids) to abe able to combat all these nonsense illnesses.

Since you're treating malaria, please avoid citrus or vitamin c fruits till you're done with your medication. That's what I was told.

I thank God for this week's blessings. He has been faithful. His provision and love keeps me going.

  6. My people, another TGIF and enjoyment day don arrive o. I don arrive my favorite joint to link up with my guys and see if any better olosho dey for takeaway. Body no be firewood jare. But my guy dey give us correct gist wey I go like share with una before I look for today olosho πŸ˜‚

My guy travelled last week to Abuja for work and was supposed to stay for the whole work week to return on Friday evening. But he told him madam say na Sunday he dey return. I hope say madam no dey read this blog o πŸ˜‚

Anyway, he came back on Friday afternoon and asked his incoming to pick him up from airport and they went straight to his guest house for a whole weekend of operation.

After enjoying better weekend operation, he called his driver to come and pick him up from the usual joint (driver knows the guest house). Of course he dey always tip the driver generously to shut him up. Also, as a sharp guy, he removed his bag of tools (cd, lube, toys, etc.) from his suitcase and hid inside better corner for car πŸ˜…

As he reached house, madam was excited and greeted him like a man wey she missed wey just come back from travel, come serve am better yam and egg wey knock my guy out after a whole weekend of operation with his incoming for the guest house.

Oga now say he dey go room to lie down say the whole work travel was exhausting. Madam even escort am go room and tucked him in bed πŸ˜…

Na so madam go check him suitcase as he dey sleep, she no see anything wey go incriminate am. She now went to the car and ransacked it until she saw his bag of tools for where he hide am πŸ˜†

As oga dey snore, na so he felt something cold and sticky dey sting him face for dream. Only to wake up and see madam pressing the lube all over his face and screaming ‘shameless man, she couldn’t even get wet for you that she has to use lube. Shame on you’ πŸ˜‚.

Omo no be small thing o. My guy is now wondering whether na the driver tip the woman off. Abi na suspicion from one time wey he forgot to log out and madam used his computer and saw email receipts showing say the guy dey sponsor incoming university education and was planning on paying for her to go do masters for UK this August. That thing cos kasala for their house that time o.

Abeg make I listen to more gist jor πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    2. Useless married men
I blame their wives that remain with them after catching them red handed. If women start leaving cheating men the way men leave cheating women, cheating by these goats will reduce

      Delete
    3. It is this type of man that the wife shows him shege banza when he grows old and sick. The woman had seen all sorts.
He travelled to work from Monday to Friday, instead of going home to rest, he went to waste money and also stress himself more with a side chick, calling it enjoyment.
This type of lifestyle is the reason why they get all sorts of illnesses before they reach a ripe old age.

      Y'all should continue.
I have kukuma warned my own husband, he too kukuma knows that I'm not nice like that. He is still behaving himself.

      Delete
    4. Anon 4.07, you are just wasting your time. You haven't just caught your husband. Most men cheat and women are now even doing better in the game now. The men use it in soothing the stress of providing for the family, including the wives' stress at home. The comfortable and discrete ones do one night stands and not keep side chics. The whole truth and nothing but the truth.

  14. CONTINUED FROM LAST WEEK

I WANTED TO POST THIS CONTINUATION IN PIDGIN BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE DOUBTED MY STORY. SOMEONE EVEN SAID "IT'S AI". But I like this place and it's my life story whether someone believes it or not. After all, I'm anonymous and those affected by my story may not even bother about it as it neither helps nor hurts them.

Months later, on a very dry harmattan day, I was summoned by my elder sister. She said that my mother was asking for me outside. When I came to the front of the house, I was surprised to me mama standing close to a car and talking with some people. I'd never seen the vehicle before and clearly knew that these people were not relatives.

There was a man at the driver's seat. A woman was at the front passenger side and two females (one older and a relatively younger girl) at the back seat. Of course the back of the car was a little dark. Mother beckoned on me to come closer. Then she asked "is this him"? All eyes went back to the girl at the back seat. She nodded. Then mama told me to stay away a bit. Then the woman at the passenger seat came down and hugged mother. Then after discussing for a little while, they drove away. When I asked my mother who they were, she simply waved me away and said "go and play ".

I was deep in slumber when my mum's familiar hands and voice shook me awake. It was midnight. The moment I looked around and saw others sleeping but only me awake, I knew I was in a doghouse, in a serious fix.I told myself: "If you survive what is about to befall you, you will survive anything." My mother was neither dramatic nor abrasive. She was not really synonymous with the typical African mother. On the contrary, she was a calm, reticent and highly objective person in spite of her limited education. (She spoke good English despite only attending "model school ".) This is an aside.

However underneath her calmness laid a firmness that a missile could not penetrate. When she asks you for the truth, especially at the dead of night, then the truth it is!

"What happened with the girl at your lectures?" I confessed. I held nothing back. "No wonder you were acting strange that period." I waited. After a while she told me what the visitors came to inform her about. That I got the girl at the back of the car pregnant. She said that I shouldn't worry much. That the truth had already come out. That the other girls had all confessed that they set me up. But she would only blame me for allowing a woman overpower me.

What would happen now? Well, the parents of the girl (I later learnt the father was the Head Doctor in one of the Missionary Hospitals in the neighbouring town and the mother was the CIE: Chief Inspector of Education) had decided that as Catholics they were against abortion but that we would not be bothered. They were taking her away from the country. I still praise my mother till this day for the way she handled that awkward situation. Although she has since departed this evil world, I still remember my mother for her unique calmness, her wisdom, her support for my father, and for all her children, and for always fighting in her unique way, for the unity of her ten children. Need I mention that when my father eventually heard of it, my mother had severely watered down the story, explained away the fact that a girl "dominated " her son, and made me look every inch the victim I was. My family suppressed the news and it never filtered to the neighborhood. That would have impacted my education.

August 2015, I joined Facebook. I was never the type to embrace whatever was trending at the earliest. In 2021, I received a friend request from a young lady and from time to time, she would chat me up with a simple "good morning sir" or "good afternoon, evening sir", depending on what time we were chatting. She would ask after my work and family and I would respond that they were fine.

After a while, I read something from her that shocked me. It was: "Daddy how many brothers and sisters do I have?"
