HAPPY WOMAN CRUSH WEDNESDAY

You can’t break a woman who finds beauty even in the hard parts of her journey.
Because while the world was busy underestimating her, she was busy becoming.

She doesn’t just survive —she transforms.
She doesn't wear her pain like a badge of shame, She wears it like armor laced with grace.

The nights she cried in silence? They taught her patience.
The moments she failed in public? They taught her humility.
And the days she almost gave up? They taught her resilience.

Her scars became wisdom—gentle reminders of where she’s been and how far she’s come.
Her struggles became strength—not just to endure, but to lead, to speak up, to protect her peace.

Her setbacks became her greatest comeback—proof that rock bottom can still be a solid foundation to rise from.

She’s not soft because she’s fragile.
She’s soft because she’s healed.
She’s learned that softness doesn’t mean surrender—it means choosing peace over performance.

Kindness over chaos. Love over ego.
She doesn’t need to shout to be heard.
She doesn’t need approval to feel worthy.

She knows who she is, because she fought to become her.
Every time life tried to dim her light— With disappointment, betrayal, loss— She didn’t just flicker… she blazed.
She is the fire and the calm. The storm and the shelter.
Unbreakable. Unshakable. Unstoppable.

So if you ever meet a woman who walks with quiet confidence, Who loves with depth and leads with grace, Understand—she is not lucky.

She is battle-tested, heart-refined, and divinely unstoppable.

KEEP YOUR MARRIAGE SIMPLE AND SWEET

- Many spouses complicate their marriages by trying to compete or keep up with friends and neighbors.

They end up buying things they don't need with the money they don't have to impress people they don't know.

Keep your marriage simple and sweet.

- Don't pretend to be what you are not. Don't put unnecessary pressures on your marriage and don't sacrifice your marital happiness just to keep up appearances.

- Don't buy things you don't really need just because your friends have them.

- Budget together with your spouse, plan, prioritize and have the maturity, discipline and temperance to follow your plans regardless of what your neighbors and friends are doing.

-lt takes lots of lies, stress and debt to support a fake life style.

- Happy marriages are simple, honest and straight forward, marriages that impresses God , not people.

- For marriage to work, self must die.

- Anything that is done selfishly will separate you.

- Consider your spouses feelings, needs, desires, opinions and preferences in your decision making.

- There is a lot of selfishness in marriages,  what is mine is mine, and with this attitude brings down the marriage.

-The term marriage is indeed a desiring of each other to share of each other and what we have.

- Marriage flourishes when the couple works together as a team, when both husband and wife decide that winning together is more important than keeping score.

- Your spouse needs more of your love and encouragement, not just your constant criticism and endless correction.

- Listen to your spouse. Oftentimes your spouse doesn't need answers or advice, they just need you to sit down next to them, hold their hand, look them in the eyes and listen.

- A virtuous wife does not spend time on phone broadcasting her private marital issues to all her friends and work associates or relatives.

- She goes in the inner room, in her closet and gets on her knees and takes everything to God in prayer, then she gets up and goes out walking like a victor, and not a victim.

SUCCESS IS FOR EVERYONE

There isn't one single "secret" to success, because it means different things to different people and involves a combination of factors.
However, some common themes emerge, including setting clear goals, developing a strong work ethic, persevering through challenges, maintaining a growth mindset, and building a supportive network to make it complete.

Your story/Narrative can change if you plan well....

  1. ‎A TRUE STORY....

‎A woman went to her mother to complain...:

‎Mom, I can't stand my husband anymore. I want to kill him.

‎But I'm afraid I'll be arrested. Do you think you can help me?

    ‎His mother answers him:

‎Yes, my daughter, I can. But there is a downside.

‎You will be forced to make peace with him, so that no one doesn't suspect that it was you who killed him when he dies.

‎You'll have to make yourself look good, take care of him.

‎Be kind, grateful, patient, affectionate, less selfish, fairer, more attentive to him... So that no one even suspects you. Will you be able to do it??

    ‎Yes, Mom.

‎Okay, that's good... Here's this powder, every day, you're going to pour a little into his food and he'll die slowly.

‎After 30 days, the woman returned to her mother:

‎Mom, I really don't want to kill my husband anymore.

‎Now I love him, he has changed and become gentler than before. How can I prevent the poison from working? Sorry, help me.

    ‎His mother answers him:

‎Don't worry. What I gave you was flour.

    ‎He's not going to die.

‎Actually, the poison was in you.

‎When we fuel hatred and resentment, we

    ‎kills itself slowly.

‎When you began to love and cherish your

‎husband, you saw another person in him,

‎This is how you have to behave for

‎that it is what you are looking for.

‎Every human being is good, but it is we and society who make them change.

    1. BIG MAMA for a reason.👍 Thanks for sharing. Though I have once read this many years back. Sometimes when we complain about people's character, it might actually be our actions that's necessitating their reactions. People don't just change in a blink of an eyelid.

  12. This is the secret to my journey of life! I've a deep belief to the principles and beliefs that govern life, particularly the divine laws like the cyclical nature of day and night, and the importance of sowing and reaping. By the grace of God after reading some books author by Bishop David Oyedepo, during my NYSC days boom 💥 I catch the light I engaged myself with these laws and it has leads to my fulfilling and prosperous existence.

By giving cheerfully and faithfully paying my tithe, am practicing generosity and faithfulness, which, according to the Scripture, opens up avenues for divine favor and blessings in one's life. All my experiences of enjoying testimonies and God's favor is the pointer and conviction that living in accordance with these principles can lead to physical well-being and success.

It’s clear that hard work is also a significant part of my life philosophy—a combination of spiritual commitment and diligent effort. My devotion and faith in a higher power, combined with a strong work ethic, have contributed to my health and overall well-being.

Overall, am over forty today when ever I set down and see how things are going around me I can just say God thank you and also pray for the fresh baptism for the grace to fight this fight of faith to the end... AMEN 🙏

It's another women crush day my hug to all the beautiful women in this space..🫂

  16. Thanks SDK. It's a compliment. Even me too love my new me😂 A lot about me has changed with her presence in my life. I so much love and cherish her down to the ground she walks.

Stella, one can't live all their life fighting or on drama naaa. This one thing I've learnt in life. My woman isn't perfect but she brings me peace, love, care and understanding. Never thought I could find love outside my tribe but then, God has a way of doing things. I'm lucky having a chef for a wife. It's three months and counting, I haven't eaten any meal outside. Now I know why people say Cross River are the best cooks. I used to think Afang soup were owned by Akwaibomites. Didn't know it's actually Cross River trademark.

I have been enjoying great meals back to back. Different kind of rice preparations not to talk of soup. I'm not just lucky but blessed. My stomach is guaranteed. I know my Boss man(Dante) will want to look for a virgin bride from Cross River now😂😂😂

By the special grace of God, we're looking at setting up an eatery outlet. Na money I still dey hustle. I want the public to also share in the sumptuous meal(s) I have been enjoying all along. I'm not greedy or stingy.

    Good Afternoon Mutuals.

    3. Anon 14:55,

What's wrong with you? Are you really okay? Are you dictating my life for me? Pls can you stop this nonsense now? Pls do, it's becoming worrisome.

On this blog Eka Joy shares her good news, so also is Sir Ugama. Other married women here do talk about their partner and beautiful home. Even Ali B do share beautiful moment with his wife and family. I don't get to see anyone shutting them down but me. Why this all the time is what I don't understand. Is this really jealousy or pain from you? Do I look like your kid brother? This isn't funny anymore. I'm old enough to express myself pls. When others share, you applaud them but when I do, you come for me. Is sharing good news and happiness exclusive to some persons alone here?

      This should stop now pls.

  27. My Personal Honest Review on To Kill a Monkey
    **************************************************
After about 2 years of teasing us with her highly anticipated blockbuster, Kemi Adetiba came with a bang on the series – To Kill a Monkey…When I saw the lineup of the cast, I knew that I was in for a ride…I love every work of Kemi Adetiba from The Wedding party to King of Boys and now her latest release…She has really grown and evolved as a director and filmmaker...

    My Highlights
    *****************
Every one brought their A game into making this film project a success…They went all out and pour a lot of themselves out there….I loved the background music and soundtrack that set the tone and mood of every scene..It was well thought out for the production….But I will mention my top actors…

Buchi Franklin (Oboz) showed great versality and is making his mark as a sought-after actor….I wish he doesn’t get stereotyped in bad boy roles because I believe he has a whole lot to give and more….His character Oboz kept me well entertained and he flowed effortlessly….I laughed a lot with his mannerism…Stellar performance….

William Benson (Efe) Another brilliant actor who owned his character through and through…He gave it his all and I was very impressed….Great performance…

Bimbo Akintola (Mrs. Ogunlesi) If you are a 90s baby, she needs no introduction (Out of bounds, Dangerous Twins e.t.c)…She is a born actor….Her expressions and her interpretation of her role top notch **chef kiss**

Lily Afe (Idia) She surprised me honestly and I see her in a different light right now..So relatably funny and effortlessly so….

    ***************************************************************************************************
Part 2 of my personal honest opinion on TO KILL A MONKEY will come on Friday IHN.......
