    1 month holiday for children, and many parents will still pay for Holiday/Summer lessons again. Una wan use book kee dis children? 🙄.
    Truth is, most parents are only looking for where to dump their kids, so that they can have time to hustle and rest.
    However, parents need to think outside the box. Help your kids learn a trade, a skill, and hone their creative abilities. You could enrol them in an IT school/center. The world is now digital.
    Don't train your kids to only be book-dependent. Teach them to be handy, versatile, street smart and explore their God given talents.
    To go school good o, but ask yourself whether na wetin you study, na'im you dey do now.
    Dear parents, the world has evolved. Ensure your kids are not left behind. Be intentional!

    No one had more energy than Jesus. He got up early, stayed up late and sometimes pulled all-nighters. Where did he get all that energy from? The answer is found in a fascinating dialogue. 'His disciples urged him, "Rabbi, eat something." But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you know nothing about." Then his disciples said to each other, "Could someone have brought him food?" "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work"' (John 4:31-34 NIV). When you see the word 'food', you think energy because that's what food is. And Jesus makes an insightful point here: God's will is energising.

    So, how do you keep yourself energised? By staying in the will of God. Engaging in God-ordained passions and pursuing God-sized dreams is how we produce energy. Nothing energises us more. Don't just repent of doing what is wrong; replace it with what is right. Paul writes: 'Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labour in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]' (1 Corinthians 15:58 AMPC).

    If sin is a waste of energy, which it is, then discovering and fulfilling your God-given assignment in life is the most energising thing that you can do.

    So I recollect one time I was driving down 3rd mainland bridge and I saw different cars breaking down, I shook my head and was like “why don’t these people check their cars well before embarking “ omo as I turned my head back to my dashboard, I got the shocker of my life, my car started to overheat, Ikwakwakwakwakwakwa, na so my car breakdown too o, and this was close to Iyana oworo! Thank God it was during the day, and God sent a towing Van guy that didn’t charge me much!.
    Moral of the story? Don’t conclude yet, you can also be a victim! 😂

    Hotel nowadays are no longer fully safe. Learn for yourself and share.
    ----------------------------------- 👇

    1) Once you're in your hotel room, turn off the lights. Use your phone camera as a scanner. Move the phone camera around to detect hidden cameras.

    2) Move a piece of furniture behind the door to prevent break-ins. Furniture like the bed or chair. If you cannot move your bed, hang a utensil or cup on the door handle to create noise if someone tries to enter, which will wake you up.

    3) If you're alone, leave the key inside the door after locking to prevent unauthorized entry in case any hotel staff have a spare key. But if you're with someone you don't fully trust, avoid this.

    4) Let someone know your location by calling them in the presence of the receptionist. You can make a statement like "Na this XYZ hotel I dey o, if you no see my call tomorrow, mek men enter oo."

    5) Before lodging, you can record a long conversation with someone, either a friend or family member, and then play it through a Bluetooth speaker while you're lodging, especially at night. This can scare away intruders because they will think you're on a live call with someone.

    6) Check under the bed in case anything is hidden. Check around the room in case someone is hiding.

    7) Bring your own towel and toiletries. Don't use hotel toiletries or towel.

    8) Don't sleep nákéd Incase of emergencies.

    9) Be careful with hotels that have underground rooms. Bád people might use them to hûrt you.

    10) Make sure you make payment with ATM. When you make payment with an ATM, the bank has full details of the receiving account and your location. If the hotel doesn't accept ATM payments, it might be a red flag. Consider walking away.

    I watched a video yesterday where Actor Chinwetala Agu was narrating a story of a 32 years old lady whose name is Charity Eze. According to the sorry, the lady collected 9k and not 9m from a guy and promised to visit him. When she did not show up, the guy reached her on Facebook informing her that he had reported her to alusi and gave her two weeks to return the money or face the consequences She went ahead and blocked the guy without refunding the money, the guy sent a serious disease that all her body was covered with purs. It was when her situation became critical she told her people. All efforts to heal her proved abortive, unfortunately she died. In Actor Chinwetala Agu words **A man took a soul because of 9k and a young woman ended her life because of 9k. I don't know how true the story is, but we need to learn an important lesson. Not every body has a forgiving heart. It's not everyone you hurt will let you go scot-free. Don't play with people's emotions and resources. Why will you collect money from him when you know you will not go. I am not saying he did the right thing but as a person before you do anything, think about the consequences. Blocking someone does not block consequences**

    This story gave me goosebumps throughout.
    Ladies please be careful out there. The world is getting more wicked.
