I would have waited till I got a permanent job before getting married and having kids, I'm now a shadow of my former self
ReplyDeleteIt's well
2 much fcuq fcuq ππππ
DeleteSorry
DeleteOh... It is well π€
DeleteI can imagine, it's not too late for you though, better late than never.
DeleteEither I marry late or early, Oh Lord ! don't let me regret the spouse I choose.π€²π»π₯Ίπ€
ReplyDeleteAmen....
DeleteThat you won't rest.
ReplyDeleteFrom kitchen to house chores to work to market to kitchen again to chores and sleep late.. π
I'm older than my age now
I feel your pains.
DeleteSorry. Take ehugs π€π€
Can't you discuss with your spouse to assist with some things?
Also, you should know that chores no dey finish. Do the ones you can, leave the remaining ones and rest.
Mehnn this is one thing I hoped to avoid, I wouldn’t want years later I’ll be looking older than my OH but when you do everything you mentioned with no help or vacation , I get it!
DeleteNdo nne π€. Try and get help. No rewards for doing everything.
DeleteLearn how to faint. Aarrgghh!
DeleteFaint. Shut your eyes tight.
He'll make arrangements for a help.
Ndo. Jisike.
Xhlrted P
Nobody told me that I won't have freedom to make small decisions for myself without consultation with 'oga' (in my Igbo neighbour's voice).
ReplyDeleteA submissive wifey like you go enjoy marriage......
DeleteNice, I like this
You are not alone
DeletePlenty things o π
ReplyDeleteI was told marriage requires sacrifices and forgiveness but I wasn't prepared for the tireless sacrifices, devotion and efforts. Marriage is sweet when both parties water it CONSISTENTLY π Don't look at the other side & think the grass is greener, no. Yours is greener when you work on it.
Also marriage will take lots of your free time π You'll be responsible not just for you but for your spouse and kids. You're Role Model π
So if you're single, enjoy every bit of your life now before marriage π₯³π
Adunni
Adunni
Marriage is very complex.
ReplyDeleteIn my own case, I didn't know that my life will pause for more than 15yrs
Marriage paused my life, my dreams.
Now picking up in my 40s and I believe it is not too late. All that happened and led to the pause was not anyone's fault, just life that is not balance.
It is not too late, all the best π€
DeleteSo I would advise singles to chase their dreams and actualize it before marriage and keep developing it after marriage, if possible. I said "if possible" because some situations out of our control can pause or kill dreams after marriage.
ReplyDeleteThat children can brake marriage if caution is not applied.
ReplyDeleteIt can bring out a side of you that you never knew existed. Only your spouse that push that button
ReplyDeleteI cant agree more. You will realize that the patience you thought you had is a leaner! it is Well...
DeletePray to God that you marry, not a dream killer, but a dream booster, a partner who is not afraid nor insecure to show you off the world, a partner who is your greatest cheerleader. But know this, no matter how ready you think you maybe for marriage, you are never ready...life will always throw you a curve ball, it is how you make the best out of every situation, that matters!
ReplyDeleteIt's not so much of marriage for me, my husband is BAE like that; it's marriage with kidsπ₯²π₯², your plans take a back seat a lotttt of times, practically every decision we make now must involve putting the kids into consideration, where to reside, rent house, buy house, career, even things as ordinary as what to eat sef!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I forget I’m married lol
ReplyDeleteIn your dreams π΄
DeleteMiserable old hag. Ayam not the cause of your singlehood
DeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
DeleteContinously adjusting. π€π€π€
ReplyDeletemarriage taught me patience and calmness
ReplyDeleteYou won't have identity anymore especially after having kids
ReplyDeleteYou live for your husband and kids.
π
But why are the men not complaining? They are obviously enjoying marriage
swearugad! as a woman marriage erases your identity, even down to your name. i somewhat regret being pressured to change my surname after marriage, answering my husbands surname still feels weird. i will tell my sons not to pressure their wives to change their surnames. same as my daughters
DeleteYou think none of the Anon is a man?
DeleteAnyway, Men have been taught never to complain at all or aloud about life's struggles.
Complaining men are Sissyrised
Men internalize their all in marriage. That's why men kpuff earlier generally and most women, if the would tell the truth, expect it that way - they are the one who talk more about inheritance in matrimony.

I would have waited a bit longer before I get married
ReplyDeleteMaybe in my thirties
That you are the man of the house and should lead a perfect life...forget about their own imperfection.
ReplyDeleteThat I will eventually get married to a nagging spouse that doesn't stop talking until eternity...
That anytime I am at home I do the cooking, she doesn't care.
That I will be with a spouse that doesn't say sorry, and hardly accept doing wrong.
That my spouse will nag even in front of the children.
That because I am a pastor, I shouldn't get angry...
The list is endless.

DeleteThey wanted a man's comment. And Baba came in loaded. Lol

ReplyDeleteMake we dey deceive ourselves.
Waste of time.
