Dokinta's Segment

In House Doctors wey una.......

The BV says

''My people of SDK blog, please help a sister. My sister had a tear during birth. It's more than two weeks now and the place hasn't healed. So she noticed there is something like a hole that has wound just beside where she was stitched and went back to the hospital and was told there's nothing they can do to that and she should continue with her medications.

Please, I'm here to seek opinions of maybe people that has had this experience or in medical field or anyone at all that can help. Thank you all so much.

  1. Congratulations to your sis, two weeks it's too early for it close up.
She should continue her sitz bath ( morning and night) for six weeks, take lots of fruits and rest well....she will be fine.

  2. My Own Stitches Loose When I Gave Birth To My Daughter
    It Was So Painful
Went Back To Hospital saw The Female Doctor She Said I Can't Stitche it Back ,She Just Clean Me Up ,And Told Me I Have I Already Contacted Infestion And She Prescripe Antibiotics
And Told Me To Be sitting On Warm Water ,Add Little Salt And Deltol.
With Time The Place Got Healed..

  3. Let me advice you as a Gynaecologist. Kindly go back to the hospital and be reviewed by a GYNAECOLOGIST. If you are in the south east I can help. Please SITZ BATH is a NO NO NO. It does more harm than good. That "hole" must be reviewed before it turns out to be a VVF. Don't go home and relax and wish it away. Do not take counsel from random persons. No two women's experience are the same when it comes to delivery and post partum issues. I hope this helps. All the best.

  13. Using sitz bath after stitches was a wrong move. The hot water will melt the stitches and cause more damage.
Kindly go to a teaching /general hospital and see a seasoned gynaecologist
