Thank You All – I’m Grateful to Be Found and Healing
After being missing for three days, I, Odera Mbadiwe of the Ozuomba Mbadiwe family, am deeply thankful to be safe and recovering.
It was later discovered that a concoction of multiple harmful substances had been introduced into my system, by person or persons unknown to me, which led to a very difficult and uncertain time. However, with God's grace and the unwavering support of my loved ones, I am here today — safe and getting stronger each day.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to my family, friends, and the general public (in particular the young lady and gentleman who inspite of daunting challenges were able to make contact with my family.) Your kind messages, well wishes, and the critical information shared during this challenging period helped in ways I can’t fully express.
I’m also incredibly grateful to the Nigerian Police and other security agencies for their dedication and hard work in ensuring my safe return
I am feeling much better now, growing stronger every day, and slowly returning to my old self. This experience has reminded me of the power of community, love, and faith.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Odera Ozuomba Mbadiwe

ReplyDeleteAccording to him, his drink was spiked. Hello lost consciousness. SAY NO TO DRUGS!!!. And mind the company you keep.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Seems like drinking amongst friends in Nigeria should be done with extreme vigilance. I used to think it was a joke until my husband told me a story about someone he treated. The young man’s drink was poisoned by a ‘friend’ who was jealous he got into medical school. Unfortunately he developed acute kidney injury and died subsequently, but not before the so called friend confessed.
Delete16.40 yes, it’s more common than people think. People spike drinks a lot now, victims are male and female. Only God can protect us because even being vigilant isn’t enough.

DeleteWe learn everyday. For those of u who love company & hang out every time, be vigilante , if u can’t do without friends. Even family members do it among themselves.
ReplyDeleteOdera is the younger brother of the twins. He attended the same primary school as my children in United Kingdom.
