Men are men,they aren't petty and dragging ownership with the wives,Although there are some few exceptions.
ReplyDeleteMost mothers feel the world should revolve around them because they gave birth to their sons,hence worship me syndrome.
Women too get wahala abeg,I relate and work better with men.
To me, men are more mature than women. Women view their daughters in law as their co wife.

They're more understanding than women.
Let me just use the word that men understand and settle issues more matured then women..

Simply put, women's wahala too much. Men are less problematic and petty in their ways. There are always exceptions in both cases though.

ReplyDeleteBecause in most cases, the family of the wife are not trying to do anything to ruin their daughter’s marriage whereas some MILs already feel like their son did u a favour by marrying you so there’s really no incentive for them not to disturb the marriage

ReplyDeleteWomen stay in an unhappy marriage, over bond with their sons , then see DIL as enemy trying to take their only source of happiness from them, they are jealous of the affection their downs show, knowing that their husbands could never, the DIL fights with son or son begins to behave like Dad in the coming years, DIL becomes bitter, trauma bonds with her own son and the cycle goes on and on.
Check MIL in loving marriages, they don’t even want to go for omugo if their husband does not go with them. Many couples around me are like this. It’s just unfortunate only the broken or unhappy homes are trending…
In addition to my comment that lived MIL no get time, look at nest oil and wifey, and the bishop and his wife, then look at their kids. Lion no dey born goat…
ReplyDeleteMost MIL are just jealous that the kind of care they did not experience from their own husbands are being given by their sons. Only few of them can overlook that- every other reason is tied to this. They want their sons and daughters happy but not someone else's.

Men are that age want fun and peace with their grandchildren and DIL but women want to control everything and relieve the life they never had
