DANGEROUS WEDDING GIFT
Few days after my wedding, my sister called me and said she had this strong feeling to pray over my wedding gifts before I unwrap them. I said no problem I didn't think much of it, because my sister is a spirikoko, who prays over everything.
As promised she came over, prayed and anointed the gifts. After about 2 weeks a terrible smell started coming out of the guest room where the gifts are stored.
At first we thought a rat had died in the guest room, but that is not even possible. Where will the rat come from in this environment?. We started taking out some of the gifts to create room, so we can search for the death rat. We were shocked to discover that a smelly water was coming out of one of the gift box.
The smell was so bad that we had to carry the box outside. We were even scared to find out what is inside the box. It was our security man that came and unwrap the box.
Somebody wrapped a snake and sent to us as a wedding present.
I don't know if it was a life snake that was sent and it died as a result of our prayers. My question is who would send us a snake as a wedding gift?
My husband dated his colleague for 2 years before they broke up. We met immediately after their break up. She came to our wedding with other colleagues. Is she the one behind the gift?
I have never dated anyone seriously aside my husband. I married as a virgin.
My sister said the snake signifies barrenness. Is this true?

You know, she might not be the one that sent that gift. And, it's not everyone that smiles with you, that wants the best for you. Good thing you listened to your sister to pray over all your gifts.

ReplyDeleteYou will not know who sent the gift on your own. But if you really want to know you can pray that the person confesses. Accuse no one because most times it’s the person who is least expected of that does those things.

DeletePoster you don't need to know weather the snake was sent alive or dead, who sent it and what you have done for such gift to be sent. All that matters now is for you to cancel whatever was the reason why that snake was sent to you and your husband as a gift. Thinking of the person your husband dated may not even be the person, it may even come from a family or your friends. Do not trust anyone for no reasons. You both need to pray hard, fast and cancel everything that brought about such gift.

You do not take wedding gifts home without opening them and praying over them. Immediately after our event that same day, we never touch anything or open it. My sisters and sister in-loves took them and unwrapped them before it was brough to our house days after we got married.
Thank Gid that every evil intended for you and your family is canceled. Please don’t accuse anyone, the battle is of the lord, however just as the Bv above suggested, go and watch your video again and you might see who presented the gift, do not be surprised that it might be your biggest supporter that wants to ruin your new home. I will advise you don't go pointing accusing finger on anyone. You could end up pointing at the wrongest person.It could be someone you least expect it to be.
So many enemies like friends walking the surface of this earth.
Give glory to God who has thwarted the machinations of the enemy over your life and yours.
Lastly, pray without ceasing, increase the volume of your prayer life because the enemy does not rest. You also should not rest.

ReplyDeleteStory like this is the reason why I don’t like giving out or receiving material gifts. I’ve heard too many horrible stories about evil gifts and the consequences of receiving them.
ReplyDeleteI never took any gifts home after my wedding but kept them in my husband’s room at his father’s house. We didn’t open them either. That was so many years ago.
At my daughter’s weddings we categorically stated on the wedding invites that the couple didn’t want material gifts but money transferred to their accounts which almost everyone complied with. The vaey few gifts that were brought were left at the venue.
The heart of man is desperately wicked ….so says the Holy Bible.

Unless the snake slept the whole time, how would they bring it to the venue and you guys carry it home without movement
Also was it only the snake inside the box
If the box came from a garage or warehouse, the snake might have snuck into the box
This is why I try to keep things above the ground when they are in the garage. Rodents and snakes can sneak into a box
This is why I can't live in some places where I have to worry about some k!ller creepy crawler lurking in, under, around or above something. Nope, I can't ooo.
DeleteI don't think that I have ever placed a wedding gift in a garage or outside anywhere. It doesn't sound like there was anything else in the box other than the snake, so the snuck theory is not holding.

ReplyDeleteFirstly, he is supposed to protect you! Why is he passing on his duty as "head of the household" to the security guard, because he is scared?!
Secondly, why would he invite the ex to the wedding? And why did you accept? An ex that he broke things off, only to marry the very next woman he meets! Even if she is innocent in this situation, the optics are off!
With regards to the "present". It could either have been a live snake that will bite one of you when you open the gift, and ultimately lead to mourning in your new household. Or... it was meant to look like something useful for the house, but was spiritually a snake, that would cause issues in your marriage.
If it's the former, I guess the sender didn't expect you to take weeks to open the present, and didn’t ventilate the box, nor provide it with food/water.
If it's the latter, then the prayers squashed their evil plan!
I truly hope and pray, for your sake, that the battle started and ends with this "present"!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your marriage....Thank God for the gift of knowledge of your elder sister.....However, there is something we Christians do that isn't right....You have already accused your husband's EX on something that you are not certain of....I am not ruling out the place of spirituality but it should come with critical thinking......
Watching your wedding video to find out who sent what is very unproductive....Which wedding looks organized? You will just give room to speculations and pointing false accusation on innocent people....
Here are some scenarios that may have happened
1.Someone could genuinely have sent an unusual gift.
2. A snake may have crept into a box from the surroundings especially if you live near bushes or open areas.
3. The snake may have entered the box during transport or storage, not necessarily from a wedding guest.
Please try to reason from several angles before drawing conclusions.....You are just starting your married life; don’t let accusations create a cloud over your home.....You have prayed and believe the works of darkness are destroyed: hold on to that faith and peace, and don’t give room to fear......Can you vouch for everyone? Please end it here and don't start pointing accusing fingers....
