  2. My mum just died and she has some millions in her account. I'm the person always asking about hyperthyroidism and serious chest pain, but she finally succumbed to the pains. Just so so sad.

I am the next of kin, and that's where her pension is also paid. She also has some money in a fixed deposit account. How can I start the processing? I was told to write a letter of adminitrattiomn. Is it a lawyer that will write the letter for me?

    1. I am so sorry about the death of mom.
May her soul rest in peace and May God comfort you and yours.🤗
I think they issue it at the high court but if you don't want to go through stress, you can get a lawyer to help with it.

    2. So sorry about ur mummy’s loss. Pls accept my condolence.
It seems u were close to ur mom, so i’m assuming u have her password and bank details, that is if she used bank app, just quietly log into her app and transfer all the money, later u can run through the process of closing down the acct for reason of death. Then for the fixed deposit, if you wish, u can write to the bank, or go there urself, they would tell you all that they require for u to have access to the funds, then u start from there. Alternatively, you wait till the tenure of the fixed deposit expires, by then, u wud have access to the money, use either her ATM or her bank app to move the money. This is to avoid stress, because the procedure is stressful and u need a lawyer, because the courts must be involved. Good luck.

    3. Thanks all, God bless. I accept the condolences. My mum is the old school mother who is so prudent in her spending's, therefore, she does not use bank app or ATM. She goes directly to the bank to fill deposit or withdrawal form for her monies.
Thanks so much for the input.

    4. So sorry . If you know her password just withdraw everything.

  4. My country people, I observe that kids' tablets do not last long due to the battery life. Aside from samsung and amazon (too too expensive), which kid's tablet can I get between the range of 60k to 70k with long-lasting battery?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Kindly save your money please,to avoid heartbreak..BECAUSE with the custom duty alone,No QUALITY brand new tablet with a good battery capacity as stated above is going for that price.

      You must compromise somehow:

      A) A foreign used quality brand(if you can see)

B)Brand new low LCD brands in the Chinese market with no warranty

      C) Brands with no availability of spare parts in Nigerian Market(which is very important)..but just know if it falls from the kids hands once or twice,it's gone and the screen can't be replaced(and would cost you more if you have to buy spareparts and ship from China).

      I hope this helps.

  6. Pls how much is can I charge for a business plan?
I want to write a a business plan for someone, it's my first time of doing it for money. I have been writing it for free for friends and family in the past but noticed recently that professional writers actually charge so much for it.
As I need money, I want to start charging too. As a beginner, how much should I peg it at?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You charge according to what you believe you are worth at that very stage of your career..that is after doing your market research/survey and knowing the price range at which people in that exact field charge..then give your discount to the prospective client so they can have reasons to patronize you.

Other factors matters too, like if those who do it as a business have a business registration(CAC) with professionals working with them at an office with a verified address, you can't take same price as them..because in the eye of an average prospective client in Nigeria, they are more professional and verifiable than you who is doing it as a side hustle from the comfort of your home..

So start small, give a reasonable price that won't make the prospective client decide to just leave you and go for others, the goal is to win your first clients heart,so you can do a good job and they can give you referrals, then gradually you increase your price with future deals..and at that point they would be willing to pay because they have seen your value.

      Hope this helps..

  13. Good afternoon bvs. I'm trying to invest in my look by buying some wigs. I'm looking to buy a 16 inch pixie curls and a 10 inch hone straight, both with a 5by5 closure. However I am confused.

    1. I am thinking of buying Amella packet hair because the reviews on tiktok are good and it is super affordable. 20 inches retails for less than 140k.
    2. I also want to go for may queen pixie curls or emerald pixie curls because just like the above, the reviews are good and they are more affordable than what our online vendors sell to us.

My confusion is that I am scared of renting on online reviews to invest such a huge amount on hairs. I don't want to end up disappointed. I have a trusted vendor thst sells pixie curl for 180k and a 10 inch bone straight for less than 150. Should I buy from her or buy those packet hairs and wig.

Note that some hair analysts are saying online vendors also buy and wig packet hairs.

Also has anybody bought from assorted hairs on tiktok? His hairs are cheap but I'm worried that they may loose their quality in a short while.

    1. Those packet hairs don’t last. Take this from a former hair vendor

    2. If you want to invest in hair...Then always go for quality so it doesn't become a case of penny wise pound foolish....As BV Martins will always recommend, if you are in Lagos....Why not go to trade fair and tag a friend who knows quality and help with the selection....You can also visit Lagos Island to get quality hairs....Since you have a trusted vendor, why not buy from her?

Don't buy cheap hairs because at a point, you will realize you don't have any hair collection....So save up even if it is 1 quality wig you buy that can serve you for 5 years; it is better than buying 3 cheap wigs and they won't survive 1 year....I have a wig I bought for 4 years ago whenever I rock it, people think I just bought it....

  15. I am a dry cleaner by profession. What end of the year gift can I give ? I once gave a customised pen and bowl but it was not appreciated. Few years later, I gave a customise medium sized towel and also a stainless water bottle last year.
Please what other gift would you appreciate from a drycleaner aside from discount.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Okay Discount is good...You can do something around referrals; say if they refer 5 persons...You could wash two or three items for free....

How about running a small survey if they are on a Whatsapp or email marketing group to know what they prefer....The options can be (1) Discounts (2) End of year gift (3) Referral Code...This will help you to know how they prefer to be rewarded without wasting money buying gifts they don't appreciate....

      Or
If you don't have Whatsapp or Emailing group, once they come to pick up their clothes...Make small paper cuts highlighting these options... Let them tick it and return to you at the point of pick up...Then your employees can collate...The 2 top options can used to reward your customers...

You can run these surveys from time to time so you are on track...

      Thank you

    1. Get a procurement agent or Rmb seller, give them the Alipay account of your supplier and they make the payments on your behalf, then you pay their percentage..

Some take 5%,some 7%,some 10% of total goods bought.

So you either get an international passport,or momentarily use procurement agents /RMB sellers until you get your passport to verify yours and register.

      Hope this helps.

  20. Our landlady's married daughter lives in the same compound with we the tenants. we do not talk to each other but I sha greet her whenever I see her, though I'm older than her.
We do not exchange things but even if she wants to, she sends it through our 3rd neighbour. Those ones are close to her with their eye service anyway.
I did my father's burial recently, she sent money through that our 3rd neighbour, I already collected the money thinking it was from him not knowing it was from the landlady's daughter, so I could not return it. People also adviced I should not retrun the money but collect it.
My question now is that can I give the landlady's daughter a souvenir bag? I know she will just throw it somewhere and I won't like it OR shld I just thank her?
TREAT AS URGENT, PLEASE because she will arrive tomorrow

    1. Just thank her but if the souvenir bag is compulsory for everyone who gifted you, then give her and forget about what she does with it.
