Hmmm... This message is timely. I thought of this yesterday. Seeing people going for back to school shoppings across social media platforms with the price inscriptions got me thinking.
DeleteHow are parents with 3,4 , 5 or 6 kids coping in this economy?
Not to talk of feeding and other miscellaneous expenses.
Omo, may God be with families who strive for stability in all ramifications in the home front. It's not easy.
I had this discussion with my friend that's a single mom. She called to tell me the outrageous amount she was going to pay for her son going to senior secondary and she said sometimes tears will just be flowing for her eyes because how overwhelming her situation is.

It takes faith and bravery to let your convictions direct your behaviour and choices. The truth is that God is ultimately responsible for your advancement and promotion. His word says, 'Promotion and power come from nowhere on earth, but only from God. He promotes one and deposes another' (Psalm 75:6-7 TLB). Don't think you can do right in your own power. Sometimes the temptation to manipulate or lie to advance in some area is just too much to withstand. That's when you need to draw on God's strength. David said, 'The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid' (Psalm 27:1 NKJV)?
Pray: 'Father, please keep me from falling into temptation, and deliver me from the evil one. Help me to do what's right.'
