Teacher of the Year, Ifechukwu Narrates How Betting Made Him Sell Everything He Had..

Esomnofu Ifechukwu, winner of Teacher of the Year Competition has shared his experience with betting.
In a post shared on his Facebook page on Monday, Ifechukwu recounted how his involvement in betting left him financially stranded in 2017.

''This innocent face you are seeing here? Don’t let it deceive you. I was smiling outside, but inside my chest, my village people were playing drum.
Betting finished me that year. One ticket destr0¥ed everything. Bank account — empty. Pocket — empty. I even dropped my phone as collateral (imagine me begging them not to reset it ). At one point, I sold all my so-called properties — plastic chair and one small tv, generator , etc — and moved back to my parents’ house because landlord had no joy.
That was 2017, eight years ago. But the memory still feels fresh.
If you can’t control betting, please don’t even try it. Before you move from “big boy” to “please, can I borrow small airtime.”
Betting almost carried me straight to the grav3.
Don’t try it''

  2. Betting is evil, it can destroy someone, I thank God that I don't have any loved ones addicted to betting, I can't even be in a relationship with someone that bets.

  6. Engaging in betting is an extremely hazardous activity that can lead to emotional, mental, and financial exhaustion. But will they listen? No!
Some go tell you say nothing fit make dem stop betting for this life. Some go take am up with you like their lives revolves around it in it's entirety.
It is the ADDICTION to betting for me.😢
If left unchecked, it can culminate in a state of destitution, rendering one reliant on others for sustenance.

Lovelies, biko, Abeg! refrain from betting today to safeguard your future and acknowledge that betting is a malady requiring treatment.
    Please and please again.
