DeleteGod is beyond bounds that all is in accordance to his will. Just as he chose Jacob over Esau to continue the promised lineage leading to the Messiah, a decision that is based on His own sovereign purpose and not on their actions.
While both brothers were flawed, Jacob valued spiritual blessings, while Esau prioritized earthly and carnal desires, making Jacob the vessel for God's plan to establish the people of Israel and ultimately bring the Savior into the world.
God using Jacob despite his faults,is a reminder to us that anything of lasting value is because of Gods grace. not because anyone is worthy than other or because they deserve it.
He is no respecter of persons and he does not favor some individuals over others, His choosing is not based on any foreseen actions but a decision made solely for His own good pleasure and will.
You can disagree with my own point of view as this is how I see it.
