Tuesday In House News...

 Hailings.....

TUESDAY MEMO...

I salute everybody.......
Today i have a small problem on my hands..I have run out of what to cook and yesterday i made a mistake of making two different meals....I was hoping my bambinos would give me ideas but they told me to stop burdening them with mama duties......Anything i suggest they will chorus ''AGAIN????''...I just tire, if its only me i will eat only salads and joghurt oh........Chicken wings and laps wey people dey use do main dish na snacks we dey use am do, so if i make it now they will ask what the main food is...LOL
Can someone suggest food for me to cook..if i like your mixture i will settle...LOL........
Let me not trouble una with my cooking worries ojare!
Enjoy your day and if you know what to cook this week, you dont know what God has done for you...lol
There is something else i need to touch...Those of you mothers who wake up early morning to cook food for your kids to take to school, so what do you give them to eat when they get back home? three heavy meals in a day is too much for kids oh........Some kids even take swallow and rice to school...What for?????
There are light foods to take to school nah, there are fruits, pies, sausages, puff puff, different type of sandwiches and noodles.... but yam and stew? swallow soup sauce? jollor of white or friend rice? no please!
Share your school meals and lets see!!!

I salute you all, may God bless the rest of your day...AMEN!!!

NEW COLUMN ALERT.
A new column is up for reads and i am thinking if it should be inside in house news or stand alone....A BV was heartbroken by her man and she went AWOL for about a year on the blog, she is back commenting and reading as Anon but wants to tell her story through a column.....
I will berth the column on Wednesday either inside here or as a stand alone......
She says she has healed or rather that going off social media helped her....

WORDS OF WISDOM

---Be careful, so you don't hate a lovely person,  because of a dirty rumour you heard about them, which was created out of jealousy and envy.

---Try to appreciate those who gossip about you, It's not easy for people to leave their problems and carry yours on their head. ...WORD!!!

---Forgive betrayals, but be careful with them, because next time they may not spare your life, May God expose all pretenders around you. WORD!!!

------Even if you kill yourself for some people, they will still complain that you didn't die in a proper way. Do your best and leave the rest, you can't satisfy human being. LOL

------If you are always worried about what others are saying about you, you will never be happy.......
This one is for the writer of the Chronicles of a happily divorced woman...

HOW TO MAKE A POSITIVE CHANGE IN LIFE.

If you really desire for a significant positive change in your life, then you need to start taking the following steps;

1. Stop blaming others for your problems. You need to stop believing that your problems are caused by people or spirits. Take responsibility and seek solution within yourself before you can look outside.

2. In seeking solution within yourself, the question you must ask yourself is " what is the cause of this problem? How did it start? What did I do before it started?

3. When you carefully analyse no.2 and provide the right answer then your problem is solved 50%. Once you know the cause of a problem, that is the role you played in bringing about the problem then you can retrace your steps.

4. Make a plan on how to stop the problem and implement the plan.

5. Be observant to learn a lesson from the problem so that it will not repeat itself.
Every problem is like a textbook. Problems make us experienced and better after we have solved them.

SUPPORTING EACH OTHER'S GOALS AND DREAMS

means actively helping and encouraging your partner to pursue what they aspire to achieve in life. It involves understanding their ambitions, offering emotional and practical assistance, and being their cheerleader through challenges and successes.
It’s about creating a partnership where both individuals feel valued and empowered to grow, without compromising their individuality.

*HOW CAN WE BETTER SUPPORT EACH OTHER'S GOALS AND DREAMS?*

1. Communicate Openly: Share your goals and dreams with each other, and listen actively to understand what truly matters to your partner.

2. Encourage and Motivate:Offer positive reinforcement and remind them of their potential, especially during challenging times.

3. Help Plan: Work together to create actionable steps or strategies to achieve those dreams.

4. Celebrate Wins: Acknowledge and celebrate small and big milestones along the way.

5. Be Patient: Understand that progress takes time and avoid putting pressure or unrealistic expectations.

6. Provide Practical Support: Offer tangible help, whether it’s taking on extra responsibilities or connecting them with resources.

7. Respect Differences: Even if their goals differ from yours, show respect and avoid judgment.

WEIRDFACTS
----In a recent survey, 58.2% of men are more attracted to a woman's breasts, while 24% of women said the chest (male pecs) is the most attractive part of a man.

----Fear will trick you into living a boring life.

----Be happy. Be who you want to be. If others don't like it, then let them be. Happiness is a choice. Life isn't about pleasing everybody.

----A person needs just three things to be truly happy in the world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.

---Waiting is linked to depression. Time spent waiting for something that may never happen can be mentally painful.

  22. My club(Arsenal Football Club aka The Gunners)lack of silverware in all competitions for sometimes now is worrisome to some of us however today we have the best striker in the world(Viktor Gyรถkeres) being recognized yesterday in Paris.

Despite the absence of trophies, the club's ability to nurture remarkable players and compete at high levels recently speaks to its quality and potential. The best striker's present on the field highlights the club's strength in player development and performance, even if the collective achievements haven't translated into trophies yet.

Moreover, the mention of players who have excelled individually, yet remain part of a trophyless narrative, reinforces the idea that individual brilliance can sometimes be overshadowed by team achievements. The absence of recognition in terms of medals and accolades does not diminish the hard work, talent, and passion that define the club's spirit. Ultimately, while trophies are a significant achievement, the journey of cultivating talent and striving for success remains invaluable.

Congratulations to all the players in this year Ballon d’Or held on Monday @ Thรฉรขtre du Chรขtelet in Paris.

I don't consider those foods as heavy. Don't forget they stay in school till evening, especially the older ones.
Well, to each his own, but I try to feed my family with wholesome foods. I've taken out a lot of processed foods from our diet. I stopped buying noodles for my children more than 5 years ago.

So the food they take are rice, yam, beans, potatoes and once a while spaghetti. All in different formats each time. Sometimes, they decide to take along some fruits. Other times, our homemade zobo or tigernut juice. Even when they were younger, I didn't give them those children's drinks. A lot of them are poison. They take biscuits, though. I also make plantain chips, chinchin etc at home.

Normally, I give my kids light meals like cereals and beverages in the morning
Then, rice, yam or beans for lunch and swallow for late lunch
They don't eat dinner because they sleep very early..

  40. I don't have a time table for school meals but he doesn't take swallow to school, we do more of rice/yam/spag/macaroni/beans in different forms, plantain is usually a side dish from Monday to Thursday while we cook potato porridge on Fridays because he closes early.
I prefer he takes snacks from home and eats fruit when he gets back.

    Goodafternoon everyone....it's a cold Tuesday.

  46. Good evening aunty Stella. This thing about giving kids food to take to school is what in currently arguing with my son's teacher. He eats breakfast then goes to school by 8am. I give him snacks and he's back by 1pm. Eats lunch by 1:45pm. So he's in school for 5 hours. Are they trying to tell me that between 3 hours he should have eaten 2 times? It's not making sense to me at all
