It is woman crush Wednesday and I wanna use today to encourage you if you are a woman and sitting down at home using the kids as an excuse not to find something to do to make money....it is so wrong!

Get up and look for what to do....Do you know that you can sell things Online from home?....I supported someone to start home business and she uses a mannequin to display the wares and she is selling and just received her second batch of pre-loved goods (Okrika)..

Some of you can even start by selling dry foodstuff from home...join market places on social media platforms and advertise the things you are selling there....

Use your internet and social media handles properly......

NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS

In 2016, I travelled from Akure to Ila-Orangun, just a week after my mother’s burial. Grief sat heavily on my chest as I boarded an 18-seater bus and took a quiet seat at the back. The noisy bus park, filled with hawkers pushing their goods through windows, felt distant to me—I was locked in my thoughts. 

As the bus started, the wind brushed past my face, and the trees sped by. I whispered a final goodbye to my mother, trying to hold in the tears that welled up inside me.

Not long into the journey, the clear sky darkened without warning. Thick clouds rolled in, and a strong wind began to howl. The driver cursed loudly, annoyed by the sudden shift in weather. Rather than slow down, he sped up recklessly, determined to reach Ila-Orangun in time to make another trip. Then the rain came—fierce and heavy. 

The boot of the bus couldn’t close properly due to the load it carried, and soon water began pouring in. The worst of it funneled directly onto my head through a leak in the roof. It felt like a waterfall crashing down, deafening and cold.

I tried to endure it, but eventually I called out for help. A few passengers mumbled sympathy, but no one acted. The driver, impatient and cold, told me to be quiet so he could “focus on the road.” I sat there, drenched and humiliated, clutching my bag of important NYSC documents, hoping they wouldn’t get ruined. When we finally arrived, I stepped down from the bus, soaked to the bone.

 I approached the driver, calmly asking for a form of compensation—not money, just an apology for the discomfort and disregard.

Instead, he exploded. He hurled insults at me, mocked me without shame, and drove off with a smirk on his face. I stood there, completely stunned. I hadn’t expected such rudeness, not after everything I had just endured. I didn’t respond, not because I didn’t have words, but because I was too shocked to use them. Looking back now, the discomfort from the rain has long dried, but the sting of that missing apology lingers. 

It wasn’t just the water that hurt, it was the silence, the indifference, and the simple kindness that was never offered.

Hmmm, you asked for too much...Apology from driver?Driver don insult me before becos of similar thing and almost slapped me sef cos i insisted on getting some money back..........

Some people only have wicked words for others...

CHEATING

Not cheating doesn’t make you loyal.

It simply just makes you… not a cheater.

Loyalty is so much more than going out and doing things you shouldn't be doing with someone else.

It’s about where your heart, attention, and respect go every single day.

It means shutting down “innocent” flirting before it even starts.

It means not liking half-naked pictures on social media.

It means not trashing your spouse to your friends just because you want a laugh or some drama to share.

It means standing up for them when someone, even family, speaks badly about them.

Faithfulness is the bare minimum.

Real loyalty is protecting your relationship in the moments your partner will never see.

Because loyalty is proven in the little choices you make when no one’s watching.

Dear woman,
