  1. 1 hour. Anything longer than that, I'd zone out.

  2. The reason most people get bored in church is because the Holy Spirit has departed some churches long time ago.

Psalm 16:11 makes it difficult for us to put a time limit on how long church service should last.

In my opinion I will say as long as the spirit leads. In a fast paced environment, 1-2 hours maximum.

  3. 1-2 hours. Except for occasions like harvest and Thanksgiving.

That's why I love the Catholic Church. Homily lasts for 30-40mins max.

As much as we want to listen to the word of God, as a preacher or clergy, pay attention also to the attention span of the faithfuls. Because it won't be nice to keep speaking to people whose attentions are elsewhere.
    There should be a balance

    1 hour, 2 hours.
But if it's party now, you all will stay as long as 5hours to day break.

Don't you guys havie Sunday school in church which is an hour thing where you ask questions about things of the Bible?
Then the main service starts after Sunday school.

  6. As long as they want it to. I know children, seniors and teens likely cannot handle anything too long for various reasons, but when you are mentally and spiritually mature with physical stamina you appreciate a deep message however long it takes.

  8. Maximizing the Time with each session spirit bound, is the real deal.

But 2 to 3 meaningful hours should be ok

  9. Ours is 3hrs which is okay.
Sunday school starts by 8am -9am, follow by opening prayers, praise and worship, offering and tithe, message, then announcement before closing.
In summary, we start by 8am and close by 11am

  10. It's funny how folks will go to parties, social gatherings, scroll social media, sporting events, concerts and queue up in a line for hours and spend wasteful hours that do not achieve anything in uncountable pleasure pursuits but with church they are calling for 1-2 hours max.

  12. It is easier to waste time catering to the flesh than exercising the soul in spiritual pursuits

3 hours of worship is a Spirit filled atmosphere is okay, but the experience in many worship centers get as a be
