INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

My kids have always had a lot of dental work done, a lot . Our dentist visit has been filled with tears from the sheer amount of work and time that we get to spend and all. When it comes to how empathetic I have been with the kids, I would consider it a nine over ten because I try my best to be patient with them.

In the last three weeks for the first time in my life, I experienced both tooth ache and severe jaw pain, and nothing could have prepared me for how excruciating it was. My wisdom tooth was mesially impacted, and I had mandibular tori that was painful to touch, though it shouldn’t be painful normally.

The way the pain went from zero to hundred twenty-four hours still makes me shudder. The pain was radiating from my right jaw to my right eye . It was literally driving me crazy and the regular painkillers were not working.

Within a day, the right side of my face was badly swollen.
I went to the dentist and was placed on antibiotics and painkillers. Halfway through the medications, I started to have adverse reactions to the antibiotics, I had to stop and headed to a different dentist, this time a general hospital.

I was told the wisdom tooth would be extracted, and I felt literal fear when my gums were to be injected.
I kept thinking “so this is just a little bit of what my kids have been experiencing”.

Time to extract my teeth it was a student doctor who was asked to extract the tooth he kept on jabbing violently at the tooth and surrounding area. His supervisor kept telling him he was going about it the wrong way and using the wrong elevators, but he was adamant, my lips were bruised and all.

Someone else noticed and took over, and in less than three minutes, I was done.
Its not an experience I would want to repeat at all, yet my kids still have three to four procedures to be done on their teeth. Having now experienced this, I can truly say that if you haven’t walked in someone's shoes, you can’t truly understand what they are going through.

I am definitely going to be more kind and understanding towards them .

Toothache???????? it can kill!!!...I remember my first toothache with chills as it went from 0-1000000000 ah i crieddddd, i crod and i croded!!!lol

I recently approached a popular bank to open a dollar account, but the requirements were overwhelming. Haba!

After standing on the queue for several hours, coupled with speaking endlessly to the customer care representative on needing help to access the BVN from their computer since I didn't come with my phone. This was because I had a flat battery earlier. I became confused after going through the form. 

To be fair, these criteria are not necessary.

I had planned to tip the security guard because he was so polite and helpful when I arrived at the entrance and the electronic door was giving me a tough time as a result of the iron from my belt.

He greeted me on my way out and I simply ignored him because the purpose for which I came could not be executed. The greeting only irritated me the more. I was hoping it would be a walk in the park, at least that was what my sister told me.

It often feels as though many Nigerian banks assume young people cannot earn money legitimately. While I understand that these strict measures are meant to curb cybercrime, it’s important to recognize that there are still many hardworking young Nigerians who make an honest living. I eventually collected the form, but as I walked out of the branch, I knew I would not be returning.

After all, as I write sef, I don chop the money.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha that security man wont forget your face.....no near there again oh....
