The father and his son abused her continuously according to news.
ReplyDeleteI was shocked and deeply saddened to hear that this child hadn't gotten justice.
ReplyDelete7 years later!
Why were they granted bail in the first place over a case like this.?
Great that it is being given attention again.
What the heck do they mean by the suspect is at large?
Continue to rest in peace beautiful
Any cover up for crime is possible in a country where corruption rules and some key members of the once noble legal profession have become IGNOBLE.
DeleteA country where people are left in jail without trial for 29 years or more.
A country that cannot boast of CONSTANT ELECTRICITY SUPPLY in 65 years of independence despite being the richest country in Africa.
THE COUNTRY IS UNDER THE SIEGE OF WICKEDNESS!🥹
May justice prevail.

Thank you Stella for spreading the word. I recently watched the story aljazeera put up about her case some years ago on X and I was so heartbroken. This little girl went through a lot. A smart and obviously intelligent young lad whose dreams and aspirations was cut short by two evil men.
ReplyDeleteI pray justice prevails this time around.
It's such a sad story 😢
ReplyDeleteThey started abusing her when she was just 8yrs old, father and son took turns on her. She had VVF as a result of the abuse and later died from its complications. Her abusers are still walking free.
Pls parents have the number of children that you can raise conveniently so you won't have to send any of them to live with any relative in case something happens.
May we all live to raise our kids by ourselves.
I pray that this innocent soul gets justice this time around
I have four daughters; two are my cousins, one is my second cousin and the fourth is my aunt's help, from the ages of 7 to 12 years. The first two grew up under my care, I've been actively involved in their upbringing just as their parents. I carried them when they were small and I still do. I believe they'll do same for my kids, soon.

I made sure I created a safe and supportive space, where they feel comfortable sharing everything with me. I've explicitly told them to report anyone who touches them inappropriately to me, regardless of the gender. And that even if they're scared to tell their parents, they shouldn't hesitate to let me know.
I constantly remind them that it's necessary that they speak up when being abused. And I'm so proud of myself that they found me worthy to confide in, without fear of being blamed, judged or misunderstood.
I pray nothing of such happens but if it ever does, I'll fight with the last drop of my blood. I may not have the resources but I'll make sure that the perpetrator doesn't go scott free.
We must take a stand against child molestation. These has been going on since time immemorial but I thank God for the Internet and our generation that have become powerful tools to fight these people. Every child, regardless of gender, deserves to be protected. Let us all come together to put a stop to child harassment, exploit and abuse.

It's sad to read that the useless uncle is still lecturing, while the son is pursuing a music career. I really do hope she gets justice.
ReplyDeleteNaija I hail thee, if na the western world, I bet you the culprits would have been behind bars Tey Tey, and even in prison, hand go done touch them. Beautiful one, your death will not be in vain, justice you shall get.
ReplyDeleteHer brutalised soul refused to rest, until she gets justice 😔😔😔
ReplyDeleteChai when I saw the story yesterday I just remembered straight a 13 year old girl and they released the culprit even the people that let them go will suffer with the culprit, it's so heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteThe story is heartbreaking ðŸ˜, the father and son should be subjected to jungle justice, they don't deserve the dignity of going to court or imprisonment. Also their useless daughter who is an influencer is laughing and making jokes out of this and blaming the victim, she joked about her father and brother using same iPhone but one using SIM one and the other using SIM 2ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ God!!
ReplyDelete@Game mistress pls whats her handle?

So such an abominable thing can happen in Idoma land?. The dirty superiority complex some Idomas have over the other ethnic groups in Benue you will think their land is clean when they open their mouth to criticise others.
