He was re-arraigned by the Lagos State Government on Monday, October 13, 2025
He appeared in court alongside his co-defendant, Joseph Emeka, and they were charged with a five-count charge bordering on murder, attempted murder, and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
Both defendants pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them before Justice A.O. Ogala.
Evans, who gained notoriety for his high-profile kidnapping operations, is currently standing trial in five separate criminal cases involving kidnapping and murder.
He has already been convicted in two of those cases.

Since we're all mad in this country, Evans should be granted presidential pardon as well. He has been held for long as well.
