Are schools still using black boards? 😦
ReplyDeleteYh, mostly govt schools
Delete🙄 we're watching.
ReplyDeleteThey should first fix the roofs and walls of the classrooms before fixing writing boards. Some govt schools look like where they rear goats.
ReplyDeleteGosh. That's depressing. But you are 100% correct, fix the infrastructure first!
DeleteWe will remind them in 2027
ReplyDeleteAnything you are doing please always put the poor into consideration. If they have the means to go for the white board they would do so. Who no like better thing? There are schools for the poor . Many of the schoolfess ranges from 5k to 12k so if you increase the standard, many of them won't be able to afford it. Many of rich people are not accurately informed about the living conditions of people in the rural areas, you just wake up one day to make rules that never favours the poor. Na una go dey buy the board for both private and public schools in rural areas?
ReplyDeleteAhhh I thought they have done that already
ReplyDeleteNever knew the use of chalkboards is still a thing. I hope they go further than that because the state of most public schools is really pathetic.
ReplyDeleteThis has helped my school. A step sister made a distasteful comment when we first started and we were using chalks. She mocked by saying, she hasn't seen any school used chalk in a long time. That comment, I know came from a place of terrible jealousy.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, private school owners can benefit from this initiative.
This is a welcome idea . Last week after biology lesson with ss3 students all my body was stained with chalk that the principal even noticed. On Monday morning during briefing teachers complained about the quality of chalk provided by the school last week
ReplyDeleteFor the past 19 years I have been abroad, I have never seen a black board and chalk. Chai Nigeria emere unu ihe eme?
ReplyDeleteIn my school only JSS1 use chalkboard and coming out from that class is 😄
ReplyDeleteThe child that was helping me wipe the board today was covered in chalk dust 😔
