DeleteYesterday rainfall was brutal. Fell heavily over six hours non stop. I trekked from Nta road mgbuoba to location before I could finally get a vehicle going to Rumuola on a soaked body. The road was heavily flooded and the traffic jam was mad. Imagine a six footer like me the water got above my knees. I saw people especially women raising their gown up to their waist as a result of the flood, thereby exposing the tight they wore and their big bumbum. I don't even wanna talk about the ones without bra.
ReplyDeleteThe temptation was loud and visible but I refused to be tempted and distracted even though it was the kinda stuff and spec I'm used to. The goal was to get home, take a hot bath, drink a hot tea and then sleep off. So I wasn't reasoning all the side attractions I was seeing last night. I was just focused holding my shoes and my trouser folded above my knees.
I slept on a big warmed bed with my duvet covering me like a baby last night and then woke up this morning the Boss and King I am.
This morning e be like say I go branch car stand go see even if na beetle my money fit buy. I don't wanna have such experience of last night again. At least I go dey give some of these young ladies lift so they won't have to expose private things publicly because of heavy downpour.
Yawns.... Strolls inside the kitchen.

If you earn like 800k per month, you are working on the island in Lagos , you need to enter transport everyday, you drive, You know, you have your family, and you have to, you spend like maybe 200k to buy groceries in a month, I don't even get any savings, because you need to look good, you need to buy clothes, so I how do you apportion your money.

Someone she knows was getting married, and I asked her if she ever hoped to get married someday. She said no. I asked why, and she said because all she’ll do all day is wash the dishes , do the laundry , cook , clean, tidy up, and take care of children. I tried to turn it into a teachable moment that you’d still do that even if you were single, but she wasn’t fully convinced.

DeleteThe passage in Daniel where God unveils the ones whose words determine outcomes on the earth is very emphatic.
ReplyDeleteIf by the word of these watchers and holy ones, a mad king, living in the forest could retain his seat for seven years with all the ambitious Generals and army around the palace, then their decree is indeed powerful.
Who are these watchers and holy ones?
The first impulse is to say that these are angels and angelic beings. The biblical evidence is much more than these.
It is clear from Daniel 4 that there is a council in heaven that sits to review the activities on earth.
In Job 1 and 2 we find out interestingly that even Satan is a part of this meeting.
Job 1:6
> Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
Interestingly, God began to discuss Job with Satan in that meeting. Up to this minute, Satan still has access to heaven to this assembly and still has a say in the things that happen on earth with the full backing of heaven. The Bible says, he is the accuser of the brethren. Where does he accuse them? Right in this assembly of the sons of God.
However, today, we as believers have access to the assembly as well and can exercise our voting rights as you will see.
There are angels who are watchers and there are human beings who are appointed into the office of watchers as well.
“Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. Ezekiel 3:17
We would call these watchers, intercessors today. People who are appointed into this office determine the outcomes of the territories or individuals they are assigned to watch over.
The office of the intercessor is one that is not widely celebrated but has a powerful impact on individuals.
When Saul was on his way to Damascus to wreak havoc on the church, Jesus stopped him and made him blind. Saul went into three days of dry fasting. Jesus appeared to him, yet told him that he can’t regain his sight until the intercessor over that territory releases him! Acts 9:10-19
Saul himself grew to become a watcher over the church. He declared this much to the elders of the Ephesian church when he told them in Acts 20:29 that no anti-christ can arise in the church while he was alive! That is a decree of the watcher.
While there are angels who watch over God’s word to perform it and enforce it on earth, there are also human beings who enforce the word of God in Heaven concerning the earth. You can become a watcher by intentionally interceding for a person.
Heaven is looking for men and women who will take the office of watchers and enforce the will of God on the earth.
