ReplyDeleteGeorgina has always been passionate about protecting young girls I remember how she would look out for small kids on set back then to ensure they were safe. But what she needs to accept is that Regina's mother thought she was also protecting her daughter. This is not justification but the explanation for the woman's actions beyond what just looks like greed.
ReplyDeleteShe thought Regina will become like Bianca or Sade Okoya but those women are not really in the same kind of polygamous setting. Their husbands married them in lavish ceremonies and they were not really minors.
Georgina has been feeling like she’s superior to everyone and everything here and like she must have a say in everything and must be listened to since she settled in America. For all her the sophistication she tries to portray, it’s a pity she hasn’t learnt to speak without throwing insults. She virtually insulted the whole of Nollywood when Chioma cried out about political thuggery during the last elections and this Georgina felt she had to have a say. Face your America and leave us alone, you won’t because you know you aren’t relevant there. Your daughter graduated from high school and you paid Nigerian bloggers to blow your trumpet. Madam you left Nigeria and Nollywood years ago and have no relevance here either. No sophisticated, cultured lady will make the kind of remark up there. Enter house.
