AGN President Emeka Rollas released a statement about Regina Daniels, her mother, and her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, and he claimed Regina needs help. He said actors like Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, and Sanni Danji were on set and witnessed the situation first hand. Rollas urged them to speak up instead of staying silent while his name is dragged into the matter.
The statement reads:
OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY AND THE NIGERIAN PUBLIC
My dear colleagues in the entertainment industry, stakeholders, and fellow Nigerians,
As I prepare to leave office, I believe it is important to address the many allegations, misconceptions, and unnecessary accusations that have been circulating. I owe it to myself, to the Guild, and to the public to speak the truth clearly and responsibly.
1. On Prince Ned Nwoko & Regina Daniels
Let me begin with the matter many have been tagging me to respond to.
Prince Ned Nwoko is the Chairman, Board of Patrons, AGN, and Regina Daniels is a member of the Guild. Regina and her mother are also personally known to me, and because this is fundamentally a family issue, I have been deliberately silent not out of fear, but out of respect.
However, as the President of AGN, and since my name is constantly being dragged, I must state my truth.
2. Silence of the Industry & the Board of Trustees
For years, the Board of Trustees has allowed me to stand at the frontline of battles, while they protect their reputations from behind. Many senior colleagues know the truth surrounding recent events, yet they have remained silent.
I am calling on those who were present at the last series shoot and fully aware of what is happening *Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, Sanni Danji* you were all on set during the last production in question. You saw things firsthand, especially regarding Regina and we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair, and it leaves me exposed to attacks for matters I did not create.
3. The South Africa Roundtable and the Condition Given
While we were planning our roundtable meeting in South Africa, Senator Nwoko called me personally and gave a condition that he would only allow Regina to travel if I promised she doesn't travel through Lagos.
This is a fact, and I state it because it has been twisted against me repeatedly.
4. What Happened on Her Son’s Birthday
On the day of your son’s birthday, Regina by the staircase of a popular kids playground in wuse 2 and in the presence of your friends and also a few AGN members Agility, Nazareth Jesse, and some of my SSA, your husband made a statement to you regarding your smoking habit when you introduced a senator daughter who had female kids to him... In his words if you stop smoking you'll have your own daughter ..He expressed concern and said publicly that he has involved your family and is now saying it in front of your father in the industry since you refused to stop.
This incident was witnessed, it is not hearsay.
My concern here is not to shame you, NO, My concern is that you need help, Many of our members have gotten help before you which the Guild was instrumental to. It is not a crime to seek support. I hate it when mature individuals in the Industry call me from behind, say trash about but won't be man enough to confront you with the reality.
5. To Your Mother... Rita Daniel
I say this respectfully, If your daughter’s home and health is in distress, AGN elections should not be your priority.
Our Guild must be a safe place, and when people in leadership positions openly justify harmful habits as “a celebrity lifestyle,” it puts our younger members at risk.
All those people cheering you up to go become AGN President are your enemies. And all those celebs who know this truth but chose to heap blames on Emeka Rollas are worse enemies of our Guild.
6. To Our Chairman Board of Patrons, Prince Ned Nwoko
Sir, you are not without blame.
It is not good for a man of your status to go on social media and publicly call out your wife in something I still believe can be handled internally. I still believe there are better ways to do it.
Also, sir, several false narratives about the Guild spread without correction
Regina and her mother have repeatedly claimed that you funded AGN, rented and furnished the office, and donated ₦200 million to the Guild.
At our office launch, you said the ₦200 million was for your wife not for AGN.
The misinformation circulating everywhere are part of the burden I m carrying, trying to explain.
"N200 million. You should have let people know it's money you gave to your wife for her film production and not to the Guild
7. For the BOT members and some enemies of AGN who have refused to acknowledge the massive work we have done for the Guild in the last 8 but are clamoring that my tenure is over, let it be known today that there has not been any AGN President who conducted elections as at when due, and that no AGN President has successful convened a Congress where all state chapters convened in one venue. Only my administration has done this twice successfully in Uyo Akwa Ibom and Benin Edo state respectively. To converge state chapters for a conventions the Guild needs a lot of millions of Naira and I have achieved this repeatedly without the help of anybody.
The AGN convention has been fixed for the first week of December and nobody dead or alive can change it.
With the above, I shall resist any person or group of persons who will rise up tomorrow with any attempt to truncate the transition process with a flimsy excuse of tenure elapse. I will not mention what will befall such persons but just know I am not a push over.
7. My Final WORD AS WE PREPARE FOR THE ELECTION
This is my truth.
I am speaking now because people keep dragging my name, and the silence of stakeholders is also not helping matters
If people choose to remain quiet because of the benefits they hope to receive, then I choose to clear my name, as I owe myself that dignity.
I kindly ask that no one calls me privately about this statement. I have carried many burdens quietly for years, but I will not allow false accusations to stain my legacy.
I have served with my whole heart, and I will leave with my integrity intact.
Thank you, and God bless the Nigerian entertainment industry.
*A.G.N...Progress*!!! *A.G.N...Progress*!!!
*A.G. and N...The show must go on*!!!

Abeg getat with your anyhow talk. Show us pictures of your own elaborate gathering na. Who grand reception help for marriage? Tell us who you are without telling is who you are indeed.
DeleteSo you read this comment and did not shame.
DeleteNed going around tarnishing Regina's image. Her mother is in the right position to know whether she needs help or not
ReplyDeleteI think its her husband who she lives with in the same house every day, that is in the best position to do that.
DeleteEx husband please! She has moved on, Pa Ned should move on as well.
DeleteI am beginning to believe everything Regina says about Pa Ned because what is all this?
The little girl says she no do again, is it too difficult to respect that?
A lot has been going on underground in the industry. I believe more will spill as time goes by
ReplyDeleteSo Ned is also doing things with the Nolly Asaba people. Hmmm
Oga oooo.
ReplyDeleteyeah..truth will always surface one day. let hear 4rm REG to debunk this..

DeleteWhen she sha replies, make una no start una moral high ground oh
ReplyDeleteExactly! ChiNEDu has no shame. This agbaya of a mouthpiece also getting involved because of 30 pieces of silver. Mchew.
DeleteIt is the season of revelations.
ReplyDeleteFrom politics to movie industry, plenty secrets will explode!
I like as the AGN president /outgoing .. spoke his truth . History will judge him if he didn’t !
ReplyDeleteWhatever Regina like s let her write .. before nko ?

If Regina no do drugs all this will not come up … if she no do video say she is nothing in her husband s house … no body go say pim ! … if she no commot run to Lagos buy Abi rent house and put on SM .. still everybody including myself will go about our daily business.. in essence what am I saying ? … Nah she Regina buy Market oo ..
Pa Ned just dey run money around
ReplyDeleteI don't think he have involved himself
ReplyDeleteThis wedding picture.....I still wonder if this was between two people or three? How Rita is dressed EXACTLY as her daughter, they knee and stand the same time on that day. It's crazy.
ReplyDeleteIt's confusing
DeleteShe was giving her daughter support in any way possible, including dressing like her on her wedding day😁
DeleteThis is the problem with addiction and the fallout which continues when the person even starts the 12 steps and wants to make amends.
ReplyDeletePeople are being maligned because an irresponsible adult refuses to take responsibility for her substance u5e. Others who don't have control over here are blamed about what she is consciously doing and painting others in bad light. Others are pretending not to see the nakedness of the emperor for what to gain or to avoid backlash, weakening the trust around networks that can help. People give up on the user and fall out in other relationships and the ones left when the user receives sense are fair weather schemers who will make recovery difficult to maintain. Even when the user mouths a new leaf, they are sceptical or vengeful because they have also been hurt.
Do you blame these veterans for avoiding being dragged by a small girl who will simply apologize and blame chemicals when she receives sense? Who has time for the dirty politics of a body with many childish gossips in the multitude?
Majek Fashek had far more popularity and was exposed to far more money than Regina but this habit floored him Fela nko? A man who bought brand new range rovers for all his siblings in one day. This habit still came back to possess its possession. Oko snow white was allegedly chained to the bed in Ghana circa late 90s. Even now, it's like the chains of the mind have not fallen off.
All this money will soon disappear with the use and fair weather friends to punch holes in her purse. She will still beg Stella to link her with a golfer who she claims does high class escort business which must also be fueled by egbogi oloro.
I think that the AGN President, inspite of pressure to sway, has chosen not to take sides but use the opportunity to clear the air on issues as it affects him
ReplyDeleteHe has clearly taken sides of the patriarchy. If he was so concerned, why didn;t he try to discourage Regina not to marry an ancestor. Arrant nonsense.
DeleteDiscourage as what na? Person wey her papa sef no fit discourage. You people can talk anyhow sha
DeleteThat right there it's a ritual not a marriage
