Chronicle Of A Person Living With A Positive Status

Today i want to talk about the dangers of hiding your status from your partner.

I met this beautiful lady at the hospital , infact she was one of the people that talked to me when I first got tested, I later got to know she's living around my house.

Forgot these people working at the hiv center, they are supposed to be confidential but ,hmmmm it is well. They expose people especially when they know you're also affected, they'll be giving you gist .
I got to know she is also infected but she's keeping it from her husband, maybe she has secretly done test on her husband and he's negative who knows.

You know when you hide to take your drugs, you might end up missing doses cos it's not always easy to be popping drugs without anyone suspecting, this woman became pregnant and gave birth to a boy and being a Positive mother ,she of all people should know the danger of mixed feeding exposed babies...
if you're giving breast milk you must not mixed it with anything else, also the baby must be on n#virapine syrup for some weeks because some babies are born positive but because it's still at the window period, the drugs can still eliminate the virus in their system but when the partner is not aware, it'll be difficult to follow all these...

I think all these factors made the baby to test positive to the virus and I don't know how she handled it cos even positive babies if well taken care of survives and live their normal lives , it was so sad that I later heard the baby died after 6 years ...

I still see her around, it's a very sad and avoidable experience .
