Fashion Designer Veekee James Says She Admires Wives Who Pay Bills To Support Husbands

Fashion Designer Veekee James says that she admires women who don't wait for their husband's money but instead feed their husbands and their children and pay the bills themselves.

While speaking at the Ladies talk conference , she expressed admiration for women who work with their hands to support their families.

She wrote;

"And the one that stands out the most is that she does not wait around for her husband’s money, she feeds her home, she works hard with her own hands, she feeds her husband, she feeds her children, she feeds her staffs".

  1. I want to be a wife who makes her own money and support her husband/ family, but I don't want to be a wife who makes money to feed her husband and provide 95% of family expenses, Vicky please feed your husband in peace and don't tell the whole world how you feed him, your friend Prudent is richer than her husband but she lets him be the man he is, and doesn't announce it that she is richer .

    2. It feels like Veekee just likes being controversial, 'cause I wonder why she likes to set herself up for drags. And yeah, you're right about her friend Prudent. She moves quietly
      while winning massively.

    3. 12:10 have you considered that VeeKee James is quoting from *Proverbs 31* from a newer version or paraphrased before YOU JUMPED to that conclusion ❓🤔

That said, husband's role is to be the main PROVIDER of the family - wife and children while the wife's role is to SUPPORT.

If you deviate from this godly guidance, it's your personal business.

    4. To each their own interpretation. That does not mean the man is not the bread winner. To her spending her money on her family and staff is her dream.

  3. It's good to make your own money as a wife, support the family too when needed but make all of us make the money together and spend it together biko.

      "Some women"? Yes.
      "Most women"? A CAPITAL NO.
That is why her statement is topical.
Most women do not want it so.
They prefer to live the "almajiri lifestyle" in marriage though their biological family is being fed fat on their earnings.
That is the reason for the drags, even on this blog as shown by comments so far.
Women generally 8 a woman who talks this way in public. She won spoil market ni?
      Hehehehe

  7. I feel these are the ladies that men really deserve. Our mothers did this without broadcasting it and some fathers appreciated them and some took advantage but do what makes you happy 😊. The man is happy and you are happy 😁

Ironically, the women who talk most about love as a part of marriage and earn beyond their mothers and fathers incomes combined are the most vocal against it. Hypocrisy or Wickedness?

  8. I thank God that you’re a woman that knows the Bible. The Bible said you’re a helpmeet and not the provider. My mother, is the breadwinner and my elder sister followed in her footsteps. I reject and refuse that for myself.

I will be a multiplier and not the provider. I love veekee but her husband looks like someone who lacks confidence and that’s because, he’s the one at the receiving end and not the provider.

I saw a video where Vicky took her baby brother shopping and Femi was looking lost, he was out of place. He doesn’t call the shots.

  9. Anuty Veekee pls feed your husband wella and do all the necessary things a man should do but as for me, I will not feed any man with my money…as a helpmate, all I can do is support when the need arises but for me to be the chief bread winner when I have a husband is a God forbids kinda situation abeg

Men are wired to be a provider ,it’s only s!mps that will neglect their primary role and allow woman to be feeding him

  11. That was my mindset. I thought I was helping out and holding the fort-lolzzzz. It’s been 15 years of holding the fort while the ‘man’ continues chasing pet projects that don’t make money. Oh well…
